i want a thong but im afraid to ask my mom
Wearing a thong will make me feel sexy around guys i know im only 13 but just about everyone wears a thong in my school that my age. Should i just go off and buy one or should i tell my mom i want one. Im afraid shell think im a slut because she dosent want me to date yet but i do behind her back.

At first when I started wearing thongs I was scared what my mom would think.I thought the same thing.I decided to go and buy one behide my back but I did my laudary and she saw it and said it was ok to just ask her instead of just going behide her back.I dunno, I would ask your mom and see.Certain moms getting kinda ...well they dont really feel your old enough and other moms do.

Just out of curiousity, how will guys know what kind of underwear you wear? They won't, unless you tell them or unless it's hanging out. I really don't think that you should go behind your mom's back. Just start wearing really tight pants and then you'll "need" them. And unless it's visible (which is slutty), it's not really that big of a deal. I have friends who wear them, and friends who don't. It's just a matter of personal preference.

Feeling sexy around boys shouldnt be your only reason. Think about why you want one and try to understand where your mom is comming from. If you really want one then yes go and buy one and see how you like it. And also wearing a thong does not make you a slut but doing it for the wrong reasons does so try to put things in perspective.

If you only want a thong to attract boys, then don't bother.
If it's just for underwear purposes and because YOU want to wear them, then buy one. But do your own washing so your mum doesn't see. If she does, say there was a special offer in the shop or something ;)
and the type of underwear you have doesn't mean if you're a slut or not!

I went through this as well. I personally would just tell your mom you want to wear thongs. When you are underwear shopping, just tell your mom that you don't want underwear lines to show because you think it's tacky or something. Tell her it makes you feel self-concious and you think underwear lines ruin an outfit. She can't think your a slut for wanting to look good. Hope this helps.

wearing a thong isnt slutty at all,it makes you feel feminine and if you dont wear it,who will?lol.i think you should buy one if you want it,its not gonna show anywayz its not like your gonna walk around with it!ok your mom might not want you to date but wearing a thong isnt dating.tell your mom if you want unless itll get you in trouble with her.

Unless you do your own laundry, I would suggest not to go behind your moms back because she'll see it in the laundry. And it's incredibly hard to handwash thongs, so I don't think you should do that either.
In the bible, it says "Honor thy Mother and thy Father." So, that's what I think you should do

Unless you are having sex, then I wouldnt buy thongs for that reason. Thongs are simply made to get rid of pantie lines on your pants/shorts. If you are just buying them because other people are, its stupid. Im thirteen also, and I dont wear them because I just cant seem to get used to them. But however if you are having sex, and want to look/seem sexy around your mate, then thongs arent really a way to do it. Guys would be just as happy if you were wearing regular underwear apposed to thongs.
That is my point on that subject. But if you still want to get them, I would tell your mom you want to get them. I know this sounds really bad, but just tell her you want to get them because of your tight jeans. [This may backfire and she will just demand that you wear looser jeans.] If you get them without telling her, you will have to constantly hide your thongs and evenutally she will be doing the laundry one day and find them. I find it best to tell your mom these things. If she knows what is going on, then she will be less likely to get mad. Its better than she knows that you come to her for these things, apposed to you going behind her back. Hope I have helped :]
