Ok....i know im only 13 but i want to wear a thong but im afraid my mom will get mad at me for asking should i just buy one and hide it?
i feel hot around guys if i wear a low cut shirt or something that guys like they always think i dress the perfect way becasue half the time they look down my shirt and they like that but one day they asked me if i wore a thong i said no.
i think it would be comfortable but i dont know how to ask my mom cus she dosent even let me date
Anyway, all types of underwear have their pros and cons. Thongs are better for tight pants and often give the wearer confidence, and regular underwear has more coverage for see through clothes where you don't want a thong exposed to the world. Both can be considered confortable.

Anyway dont tell her you wear it because of boys, doesnt sound good to a mom sweetie, believe me. Tell her you want one because your embaressed of panty lines. Dont get mad at her if she says no at first, just keep on trying to convince her and tell her she can go with you to buy one or a few. Deetra answered Wednesday July 19 2006, 6:02 pm: Okay i can tell you from experience that just buying one and hiding it isnt exactly the best idea. I can also say however it did break the ice quite easily when my mom found it in the laundry. I started wearing one pretty much the same reason as you and i would say that you should at least try and talk to your mom about it. Consider her side and make sure you want to wear one for the right reasons dont just do it because boys like it or because your friends do it and i know this sounds cheesy but you'll feel a lot better if you just do what feels right. xshelbyyyy answered Wednesday July 19 2006, 5:48 pm: Tell her you want one because you dont want panty lines when you wear a skirt. DO NOT SAY YOU WANT ONE TO IMPRESS BOYS! Because then she will get even more protective and not let you date because she will get paranoid that this boy will SEE this thong. Say you want it for panty lines. :] If that doesn't work, buy a couple and wear them and wash them when she's not home ;] haha.

xosweetiepiexo answered Wednesday July 19 2006, 4:20 pm: i got my first thong when i was 12.
my mom was really didn't want me getting them at first, but we wound up making a deal which was that i couldn't wear them with jeans, i could only wear them with those tight stretchy pants, i don't know what there called so i don't know if you know what i'm talking about. but anyways, you can make a deal with your mom to try and convince her.
the way i asked my mom was like "so one of my friends got a thong" and she was like "oh" and i was like "i was wondering if you'd let me get one" and at first she said no, but then i convinced her with the deal, and i told her my reasons for wanting one, and finally she gave in.
if your mom doesn't let you get one, then sneak it lol, its pretty easy to do.
in my opinion, only some of the thongs are comfortable, so you have to find ones you like. [ xosweetiepiexo's advice column | Ask xosweetiepiexo A Question ]
karenR answered Wednesday July 19 2006, 4:08 pm: I think you need to tell her you want them because you don't want panty lines. That is the original purpose of thongs anyway. The fact that guys like them is just an added bonus. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
