adrifacee answered Friday July 21 2006, 9:08 pm: if you dont eat normally, like snacks, and 3 meals a day, it causes you to gain weight. and if you eat later in the day around 6-11 it causes you to gain weight because your body isnt digesting the food because your going to sleep and not moving around and such. orphans answered Thursday July 20 2006, 10:58 pm: it depends. some people eat earlier so that then they can burn the calories they ate by walking around, instead of just lying in bed, sleeping (thats where you 'gain weight') [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
LiDdLeJeSsiCa9 answered Thursday July 20 2006, 10:45 pm: Not neccessarily 7 pm... but nutritionists say not to eat 2 hours before bedtime because if you eat right before you go to bed, your body is not moving enough to work off that food you just ate. hannahd answered Thursday July 20 2006, 10:44 pm: Technically, the hour of the day/night doesn't matter. You aren't supposed to eat a couple hours before you go to bed because during that time your heart rate & metabolism slow down. If you eat small & healthy foods, it won't affect your weight that much. The only time you should be worried is when you're eating junk food (or large portions) late.. night after night.
