Okayyy. I quit my job that I only had for about a week, because I was completely miserable there. And once I told everyone they tell me that I'm lazy, and that I'll never make it in the real world. and the thing is, I'm not lazy at all, I work my ass off. How can I get this people to leave me alone, and convince them that I really quit that job because I was miserable and unhappy?
Work will [most likely] never be fun. But it should be tolerable. If this wasn't [like you say], then there's nothing wrong with wanting to find something better. Don't listen to other opinions, it's your life & your decision.

In my opinion, why waste your time with people who are mean to you? Find someone with some respect. On the other hand, I am a strong believer in killing people with kindness. But don't give him too much attention; he doesn't deserve it.
I'm going to try to say this without sounding gross, but its' pretty much impossble. I have two weird sores below my vagina. I've noticed them before, a few years ago. Every once in a while they get opened up or something and burn so bad when I urinate. The one hurting right now is a little less than an inch below my left outer vagina lip. It is really red. The other one is below it, but apparently not opened. What are these things and why won't they truly heal or go away? Why haven't they disapearred over the last year or two, maybe even three? I can't remember when I first discovered them. I may have even had them since I was a kid. So I really really really don't think it could be an STD, plus, I've never had intercourse OR oral sex. I've never let a guy touch me and I've only been kissed once. I DON'T want to go to a doctor or even talk to my mom... They'd probably want me to show them but that's way too embarrassing. I'm a very private person... So if you have any clue what these sores could be, please please tell me!
Most people aren't too thrilled about showing off certain areas to the doctors. But the doctors see that stuff everyday & it's nothing more. Your health is more important than being embarassed for a few minutes. I couldn't tell you what it could be since you aren't sexually active, which is why you need to see a doctor about it.
I'm a virgin and I want to stay a virgin until marriage. Don't get my wrong; this question is not about fighting perr pressure to change my mind. Actually, I'm worried about my friends. There are only 4 girls in my church youth group including me. The other three have all lost their virginity. (My youth group age range is 11-15 btw) One of them is a slut, mostly because she's gulliable and likes guys WAY TOO MUCH. Another one of them, my cousin, lost her virginity to a player, and now has fallen for another player, who is a guy in my youth group! He's the brother of the slut, and he's a manwhore, too. She's determined to make him fall in love with her, even if it means using her body to tempt him. She made a video for her of herself acting sexy and talking dirty. Luckily she hasn't given it to him yet. Now, outside my youth group... One of my long-time crushes (age 14) who also goes to church and was our 8th grade valedictorian... he's a teen father. He got his girlfriend pregnant. And she's only 14, too. So, I'm really scared. I don't want my friends to get STDs or get pregnant. I want them to have morals. Plus, if they are acting like this... is there anyone left out there besides me whose still decent? These people are Christians, you'd think they'd have some sense! But they don't! I'm already worried that I'm never going to be able to find a husband that hasn't been with another girl... Yet I'm so powerless because if I boss around my friends, they won't be my friends anymore. HELP! & Sorry this is so long!
You can't force your morals or beliefs onto other people. Sadly, you'll have to accept the fact that just because people do bad stuff, doesn't make them bad people. People need to make mistakes in life to learn better. Luckily, you're one of the few who have a good head on their shoulders. You can tell these friends you're concerned, but if it doesn't get past them, then let it go. Atleast you can say you tried. Keep your chin up & stick by your morals, but don't expect the world to change. You'll be the one who gets much further in life.
in the winter, or in cold weather my hair gets full of static. this only happens once i straighten it though, and i straighten it a lot. so what can i do to reduce the amount of static in my hair? are there any products i can use?
i've heard of using dryer sheets, but can't that be bad for your hair?

i have a guy friend who wants me to dye his hair for him. i just don't know is it ok to just use one of those boxes that are like meant for girls? or are there specific dyes that you are supposed to use for guys hair? thanks!

You can probably get a full set as cheap as $20. Most range from $20-$30. But stay in the 20s because you can always get them that cheap somewhere. Your nails will grow out in 2-3 weeks & that's usually when you will decide to get a fill or take them off.
Okay me & my boydfriend have been going out since 9/22. The relationship is great, we both love each other and everything.

If you truely "love" each other, then communication shouldn't be a big deal. You can probably "hint" to him by complimenting him - simply by saying you like it when he kisses slow. If he knows what you like, I'm sure he'll slow things down.

Heyy, I hate to tell you this, but there are no real "instructions" to making out. Honestly, everyones different & when the time comes you won't remember the "how to's." Basically, everything comes naturally. To become a better kisser with this guy, pay attention to what he likes. For example, the specific spots he likes kissed (neck always works), the speed, & whether he likes to be teased or not. You'll only learn with experience since each guy is different. :)

Well, I was told to wait 2 months after taking it to be sure the pill is at it's "full effectiveness." Just to be on the safe side, you should always use a condom. The pill isn't 100% effective just like the condom. But if you use both & either [condom or pill] fail, atleast you have the other as a backup method. In addition, I would never have unprotected sex unless you both got tested before.

Wow, your mom sounds like a real winner. I can't believe anyone in their right mind would give their kid the option of not continuing your education. & I can't believe you would actually consider it & not want to better yourself? I recently had sex for the first time. We had penetrative sex but he did not cum inside me as he was not wearing a condom. Is is still possible to get pregnant. Also, when does someone officially lose their virginity? I was expecting bleeding but there wasn't any. You can get pregnant anytime you have sex - no matter what if he cums or not. Obviously if you aren't wearing protection, your chances are much higher. Losing your virginity involves any penetration with a penis & vagina. Some girls will bleed because their hymen isn't broken. & if not, it's possible you already broke it by getting fingered, wearing a tampon, or simply just by exercising. Yes, it's normal to feel discomfort or an urge to pee.
I'm surprised you had sex & you didn't even know what exactly it is. Please educate yourself & use a condom before you open your legs again.
[16,f] So, in about 10 days I'm going to the gyno. I've never been and I really don't want to go. I know that part of the procedure is sticking metal instruments inside "there." Now, I'm not a virgin. I've only had sex a couple of times. My friend says that to judge what size instrument you need they ask if you're a virgin or not, and if not, they use larger instruments. I really don't want it to be any larger than it has to be. AT ALL. So my question is this, should I lie, and say I am? Or tell the truth? Or maybe just say I prefer a smaller one? Also, I know they question you about whether or not you are sexually active. Will they ask my mom to leave the room or what? Someone just please tell me what happens when you go and answer my questions.
First off, they ask you if you are sexually active incase they want to run some STD tests or suggest getting on birth control. It's simply a question & something they'll take note of. It is NOT asked to know what size of "instruments" they will use for you.
As far as your mother - just have her wait in the waiting room while you go in for your appointment. If for some reason she ends up in the room with you, the gynecologist will ask her to leave so you can ask you some questions. Once she leaves, your gyno will ask if you're sexually active & other personal questions about your sexual history. You need to be honest with him/her because he/she is just looking out for your best interest. By law, everything that is discussed between you & your gyno is completely confedential unless it's life-threatening or you gave permission for it to be shared with your parents.

I got my first job not even a month ago. Maybe 3 weeks ago. I work about 2-3 times a week, making minimum wage. I'm 16, too, and have been for about 5 months, and I have my driver's permit. Today my mom told me (more like demanded..) that I was going to get my license by October 1st because she needs help and can't take me to work all the time. I don't want to do that because I calculated that at least 3/4 of my paychecks will go to HER for insurance. There are 4 expensive things I want to get first before I have to pay that much money to my mom (ipod, digital camera, digital video recorder, and laptop). The reason is because it would take me 3 times as long to save up for all of that if I have to pay my mom for insurance because of a license.
What do I do? She doesn't seem willing to compromise..and if she continues to force me to get my license, I may feel inclined to fail the driving test on purpose because my mom is not the only one wanting to save money.
Make a compromise with your mom. Tell her you'll get your license & pay for the insurance if she can get a credit card at Best Buy (or if she'll buy you these things with her own money). That way you can make small monthly payments to her (since you aren't 18 & not at legal to hold a credit card).

They are amazing. I don't exactly know which songs are on which album because I've always downloaded their music & never had a reason to buy the CDs. I suggest just downloading a variety of them. My favorites: Tiny Vessels, Syrofoam Plates, I Will Follow You Into the Dark, Someday You Will Be Loved, Photobooth, Summer Skin, Lightness. I guess it all depends on how you relate to their songs, because I honestly think they are ALL depressing, lol.

Well if you distribute, you should have: 5x-5 = 4x + 13.
You want to get all the variables on one side of the equal side & a number on the other side. In order to do that, you'll subtract 4x (from the right side of the equal sign)..which means you'll also need to subtract the 4x from 5x (on the the left side of the equal sign). That would leave you with the equation: x-5=13. Now what minus 5 equals 13? The answer would be 18. Therfore, x=18. To check your work, just plug in the 18 in place of "x" in your original equation. & both should equal eachother.
5(18)-5=85
4(18)+13=85
So your answer is right because
5(18)-5 = 4(18)+13
