Weight training and aerobic exercise increases your metabolism to burn fat, and there are a lot of diet pills/foods that claim to do so. It's hard to weed out what's true and what's not. I've heard a lot about acai berry and caffiene speeding up metabolism, so maybe you could give that a try.

Always eat breakfast, because at night your body burns calories at a slower rate because less energy is needed while you sleep. To get your metabolism ready for the day, eat a healthy breakfast.

Here are some foods that may increase your metabolism:

excercise is the best way to increase your metabolism, i know you've probably heard it a million times before but it's true. Infact, i've had a great deal of sucess once i started working out on a regular basis loosing 4 pounds so far. Also, drink some green tea before bed it's not just a great way to increase your metabolism but research shows it fights harmful dieseases. GOOD LUCK!!

Brittni

doing a shoulder stand for 2 minutes boosts it but you'll have to do it everyday for it to make a big impact

Working out increases your metabolism. It gets yor heart rate up so that when you eat, it goes right through your body.

Working out is a very good way to increase metabolism. I go to the gym a few times a week and noticed my metabolism sped up quite a bit. Make sure you don't just lay around all the time and just get going! Do even little things to help yourself, instead of taking an elevator - take the stairs. Remember to eat healthy too, like vegetables & fruit.
