I have long hair and am trying to get it curly. The only problem is only about the bottom half of my hair will curl, because it is weighing the top down. I cannot get layers, because i am doing the locks of love thing...but are there any products or something i can use to help this?

Scrunch it through your hair. For even more curl, flip your head down (so your hair is hanging upside down) and apply product and scrunch it. When you flip your head back up (do this kinda slowly), it should be much curlier.
