Q: so i love to use words like fresh and legit.
what are some other words like that?
besides like bogus or something.
what exactly does legit mean anyways?
Haha cool question. "Solid", "poppin'", "bangin'" are some words you can use too.

Q: I have always wondered exactly what religious/spiritual catagory I fall into. I believe in a higher being but I do not believe in organized religion. Where would I fall?
To sum up everyone, you can label yourself as an agnostic. Or just call yourself spiritual.

Q: Well, I'm learning to play the acoustic guitar and the other day in class I wrote some lyrics and I really want a tune to play with them, but I'm not exactly great at putting chords to lyrics. I can write lyrics and I can write chords but I can't write music for chords, I guess is what I'm trying to say :) so, here's the song. I have NO idea what the tune should be or what the chords should be. I'm just a beginner, but i'm learning quickly so nothing extremely hard or extremely easy please :) Well, here's the lyrics:

Everytime you open your mouth
plagerism comes spilling out
and when I listen to your lies
I just hang my head and sigh

I think I've got you figured out
the cool kid without a doubt
that he can have anyone he sees
so why did he have to see me?

I think I hate you
I think I love you
I think I hate that I love you
You're so annoying
you're so charming
I think I'm finally realizing
who you really are
oo-oh-oh

Being you should be a sin
Your heart doesn't show through skin
you hide your feelings up your sleeve
you're stuck in place, unwilling to leave

You're like a piece of gum
stuck to my shoe
you like me
but I hate you

I think I hate you
I think I love you
I think I hate that I love you
You're so annoying
You're so charming
I think I'm finally realizing
who you really are
oo-oh-oh
oo-oh-oh
oo-oh-oh
I'm so confused
oo-oh-oh
{eventually fades out}

And that's all I got. This is the first song I've written, so I want it to be good :) Also, if you have any improvement for the lyrics, all comments are accepted! You can say "you suck" for all I care as long as you back it up with some critique :) Thanks so much you guys! And full credit will be given to the person who helps me!
Musicians tend to sometimes change the lyrics to fit the melody they are trying to play, so you can still make changes to the song if you need to take out or add another words or different words to make the song sound better. =]]

Spelling error: "plagiarism" not "plagerism". I like the word put there when sounded out but question, how does it fit? Plagiarism is when someone copies something from someone else and doesn't give credit. Not sure if that's what you mean there because the rest of the song doesn't address that.

Other than that, I love it! It's catchy and has a lot of potential. Definitely go for it.

Q: what some other stuff i can do other than make out with my bf. no hand job or blow job. like something romantic or something.
Give him a massage. You guys can cuddle. Make it fun. Set up a hammock in your backyard and watch the sunset or sunrise or put a picnic blanket on the floor and at night watch the stars.

Or experiment with different ways of kissing:

Q: iF you step on a scale and it says yu gained weight, but u run everyday.
how do you know its muscle gain
and how would you kno its fat gain.
and approxiamatly how much weight would you gain if it was a weight gain of muscle?
I wouldn't really trust the scale. Just look in the mirror. Do you feel stronger and healthier? Since you exercise everyday I don't think you'd really be gaining much fat anyway.

Q: i have a five page essay due monday and i haven't read the book, are there any themes or symbols i can follow to write about?

Q: i cant figure out what song this is. if you could tell me that and the band, itd be great. thanks! the lyrics are: "Give me your hand nowThis is exactly what it means, to promise.I'll teach you to breathe.Raise your hands to the sky, if you feel alive.Raise your hands to the sky, if you feel alive"
Oceana - Reach For The Sky

From the look on your face, and the chains about your neck,
I'm willing to bet that you're a prized possession.

Just give it up.
Just give it your all.
Just give it all.
(x2)

This is not the way you were meant to be.
This is not a moment of clarity.
This is not the way you were meant to be.
This is not a moment of clarity.

My heart is willing to change.
Your mind.

Your words are taking over mine.
Your words are taking over mine.

They're taking over every feeling I have,
It's all for you.

Give me your hand now!
This is exactly what it means, to promise.
I'll teach you to breathe.

Raise your hands to the sky, if you feel alive.
Raise your hands to the sky, if you feel alive.

Raise your hands to the sky, if you feel alive.
Raise your hands to the sky, if you feel alive

i want to get a book somewhat like that maybe. im 18 and i want have something to read while im at work or in between my college classes. so let me know. thank you!
There was controversy over how "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey was fabricated but nevertheless it is a great book. I loooove memoirs.

Here are some author/books suggestions besides reading James Frey's other books:

Comedic:
- David Sedaris
- Augusten Burroughs
- Laurie Notaro
- "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" by Dave Eggers

Serious:
- "Angela's Ashes" by Frank McCourt
- "Reading Lolita in Tehran" by Azar Nafisi
- "Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls

Q: I have seen the movie Definitely, Maybe and i like the Nirvana song the girl plays for Ryan Reynolds do you know what it is?
The song is "Come As You Are" by Nirvana.

Q: I want to be soooo naughty for HALLOWEEN this year, I have a black and white short skirt and i want to wear black fish nets with some black pumps. how can i make it more naughty?
If your short skirt isn't a miniskirt, make it one. Your makeup is extremely important as well. You can get big fake fancy eyelashes from shu uemura at Sephora:
http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P193249&categoryId=B70
You can wear glitter in your hair or on your face.
Wear a push-up bra and a low-cut shirt to reveal cleavage. Make sure your shirt is also short too and put on a fake tummy ring or something. Haha wear sexy underwear from Victoria's secret and make a little bit of it sticks out from your skirt on the top. Also slap on some fake tattoos! Lower back, arm, stomach, etc.

Q: Okay, I don't wear contacts, I don't even need to wear glasses full time, but I was wondering, if you dont wear contacts if you could still get the colored ones that just change your eye color?

The website the previous Advicenator gave is good. I just want to add that yes you can have colored contact lenses for cosmetic purposes.

Q: I was just curious to know, who you want to win the election '08?

My mom and i want obama, but literally the rest of my family wants mccain. I just would like to see how many people want obama, and how many want mccain.

All answers will help :]

Thanks!
Honestly, in my opinion, anyone involved in politics is dirty. Whoever wins I just hope will save the economy. I am personally voting for Obama, though.

Q: 15/f

i'm normally a super happy person, but how do you keep yourself from getting kinda sad when it gets dark early? like i've been used to it being sunny later and everytime the weather changes into fall/winter i get like sad when it gets dark so early. i live in ohio btw. how do i stay happy?
oh you have SAD (seasonal affective disorder) which is winter blues

Treatments and drugs

Like depression, it's often possible to successfully manage seasonal affective disorder. In milder cases, you may be able to take measures on your own, such as spending more time outdoors or sitting closer to bright windows while at home or in the office.

Other treatments for seasonal affective disorder include:

Light therapy
Because increased sunlight improves symptoms, light therapy is often a main treatment for many people with seasonal affective disorder. However, light therapy hasn't been officially approved as a treatment by the Food and Drug Administration because of a lack of definitive evidence about its effectiveness in clinical trials. Before you purchase a light therapy box or consider light therapy, consult your doctor or mental health provider to make sure it's right for you.

Light therapy mimics outdoor light and causes a biochemical change in your brain that lifts your mood, relieving symptoms of seasonal affective disorder. In light therapy, you sit a few feet from a specialized light therapy box so that you're exposed to very bright light. Light therapy is generally easy to use and has relatively few side effects.

Medications
Some people with seasonal affective disorder benefit from treatment with antidepressants or other psychiatric medications, especially if symptoms are severe. The Food and Drug Administration has approved bupropion extended release tablets (Wellbutrin XL) for the prevention of depressive episodes in people with a history of seasonal affective disorder. Other antidepressants commonly used to treat seasonal affective disorder include paroxetine (Paxil), sertraline (Zoloft), fluoxetine (Prozac, Sarafem) and venlafaxine (Effexor).

Your doctor may recommend starting treatment with an antidepressant before your symptoms typically begin each year. He or she may also recommend that you continue to take antidepressant medication beyond the time your symptoms normally go away. This strategy can help prevent worsening of symptoms.

Keep in mind that it may take several weeks to notice full benefits from an antidepressant. In addition, you may have to try several different medications before you find one that works well and has the fewest side effects. Like other medications, all antidepressants pose the risk of side effects and some have health precautions that you and your doctor must discuss.

Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is another option to treat seasonal affective disorder. Although seasonal affective disorder is thought to be related to biochemical processes, your mood and behavior also can contribute to symptoms. Psychotherapy can help you identify and change negative thoughts and behaviors that may be making you feel worse. You can also learn healthy ways to cope with seasonal affective disorder and manage stress.

Coping and support

You can take action to help cope with seasonal affective disorder. Here are tips to help you manage the condition, in conjunction with your doctor or mental health provider:

* Stick to your treatment plan. Take medications as directed and attend therapy appointments as scheduled.
* Let there be light. Make your home sunnier and brighter. Open blinds, add skylights and trim tree branches that block sunlight.
* Get out. Get outdoors on sunny days, even during winter. Take a long walk, eat lunch at a nearby park, or simply sit peacefully on a bench and soak up the sun.
* Exercise regularly. Physical exercise helps relieve stress and anxiety, both of which can increase SAD symptoms. Being more fit can make you feel better about yourself, too, which can lift your mood.
* Take care of yourself. Get enough rest, eat a balanced diet and take time to relax. Don't turn to alcohol or unprescribed drugs for relief.
* Practice stress management. Learn how to better manage stress. Unmanaged stress can lead to depression, overeating, or other unhealthy thoughts and behaviors.
* Socialize. Stay connected with people you enjoy being around. They can offer support, a shoulder to cry on or a joke to give you a little boost.
* Take a trip. If possible, take winter vacations in sunny, warm locations if you have winter SAD, or cooler locations if you have summer SAD.

Q: I got this site where u can type in a abdn name and get like 10 that sound similar but i cant remember it. can someone give me the URL???

Q: I have bad allergies and my symptoms are like a lot of drainage and burning in my throat. Well usually I wake up and my throat hurts from the draining but today I woke up and it hurt as usual and so I went to school but it did not go away. Can allergies cause like an infection or something? Becuase it still hurts and now I have other symptoms like nausea (although that may be from the drainage) but there are spots on my throat but I don't know if they are just mucus spots or like infection spots...

any help please? I'm still up because I feel awful and I have SATS tomorrow...
Thanks
Zyrtec is sold over the counter now. It is the only allergy medication brand that relieves all my allergy symptoms and I've tried other ones like Singulair, for example. Try that for now.

Then go see an allergy doctor. They may recommend RhinoCort which is a nasal spray. If your allergies are that severe you may get allergy shots. You may also have seasonal allergies.

You could be sick and have allergies and a cold or another infection. I'm not sure about the nausea and spots.. that could definitely indicate something else. See a doctor immediately.

Good luck!

Q: is it weird when guys are driving down the streeet and your walking, and they all look at you? and some even honk.
Some guys, especially truckers, just do that. They are rude and bored.

Q: Okay, I am thirteen and I am a girl. So for Halloween this year I want to have a really cute costume because this is the first year I am going to a party with boys. I want a cute costume, but I don't want to look trashy. Any ideas?
Fairy or angel will do the trick. Innocent yet cute.

Q: i was wondering if its a good idea to wax my "mustache" off. i did buy bleach, but can't you still see the hair, even if it's lighter?
im 16/f by the way.
i was wondering how long it will last, like when will the hair start to grow back? and also, when it grows back, is it way darker and much more noticeable? i just dont want to constantly have to worry about it.

thanks in advance :)
Waxing is best. Same concept with waxing when the roots grow back out it's weirder when you bleach because you have a half white half whatever your hair color is strand of hair. Like the advicenator below said, waxing over time will eventually lessen the amount of hair grown there. =]

Q: I mean, really, why should I have a "good" education anyway?

What will my education get me in the long run?

I was talking to my best friend about dropping out of high school. I know you're legally allowed to drop out when you turn 16 in the United States. I feel that if I drop out of school then I won't be missing too much, but she says that a high school drop-out isn't going to make it in the real world and that high school prepares us for that. High school just seems to be full of drama, cliques, Hollister and Abercrombie whores, popularity contests, sex, and drugs. It's like learning isn't even a concept in high school anymore anyway! What would I be missing out on?

I use to think about going to college but it's so expensive. Is college really worth it anyway? I know people keep saying that it's good to have a decent education, but why in the world is it so good? Nobody has ever explained that to me.

Why is a good education important to have?

Please, someone, explain!
You need book smarts as well as street smarts to make it in the real world. An education is well worth it if you want a good salary in order to maintain a good standard of living. You may love college. I know a lot of people who have hated high school but in college you get the freedom you want and people are not as petty and a good education. You will meet a lot of people and open up your mind. You will also make connections that will be important later on in life. If I were you, I would opt to stay in school.
