There was controversy over how "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey was fabricated but nevertheless it is a great book. I loooove memoirs.

Here are some author/books suggestions besides reading James Frey's other books:

Comedic:
- David Sedaris
- Augusten Burroughs
- Laurie Notaro
- "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" by Dave Eggers

Serious:
- "Angela's Ashes" by Frank McCourt
- "Reading Lolita in Tehran" by Azar Nafisi
- "Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls
