Well I have this really birth mark/mole on my at the top of my left arm, but none of my friends know about. I always cover it up with a bangage or something that sort but the only reason I do is because people used at school used to stare at it and make fun of me about it. So my question is should I keep hiding it or should I just let it be and not care about it? (link)

I think that you shouldn't be trying to cover-up your BEAUTY marks! They're what make you - well YOU! Every inch of you is beautiful, ever mole, freckle, and mark. If people stare, just ignore them, they have no life! =)

Your mom probably uses tampons, and she'd be excited to introduce you to them. If not, you have perfectly good reasons to want to use them. They're easier and cleaner than pads, you can swim with them in, and plus - it's not like you're losing your virginity to them or anything =/ - rate me!

theres this guy that i really really like. we had every class together last year, he's just the funniest, sweetest, most caring guy ever! i couldn't imagine anyone more perfect for myself. i dont want to say i love him cause im probably too young to know what love is (im 15), but i care about him like i have never cared about anyone else before. but i get so nervous when im around him, im shy as it is but when he's around i get super super shy! ugh i hate it but! but he talks to me alot and my friends think he might like me. but i really dont think so! anyways i dont know i should tell him? or what i should do cause its hard for me just to talk to him, i know ur gonna say just be myself but its way more easily said then done, trust me! and what i can do to keep in touch with him if we have no classes together this year? i like him sooooooo much! and all my friends say they can see us together and we would make a cute couple and stuff! i just dont know what to do, should i get over him?? ahh its so confusing i wish u could just read guys minds lol well if u could help id really appreciate it! thanks so much! im 13, and my dad is turning 60 soon. i know thats not too weird if you have older parents, but my mom is only 40. and my dad is overweight but he's losing a lot. he used to be 300 lbs now he's 260. i know that thats good for him. and his dad lived to be 85, and his mom is 80 and shes still living. but im so scared of losing him before i grow up because i know all my friend's dads will be walking them down the isle when they get married but im soo scared that he wont be there for mine. how do i stop worrying? and im scared i'll break down while im talking to him about it so how can i? thanks (link)

Don't worry about your Dad. He's taking perfectly good care of himself, and he's in great shape. You're only 13 - and you don't have to trouble yourself worrying about your Dad's health. I'm sure he'll be there for you to walk you down the isle =)

I get like this, too! I really want to show people how well I can sing - but I think my main fear is that they won't like it or that I'm not good enough.
You just need to have more self-confidence. If you think that your act is amazing and you like it and maybe your close family thinks it's great - then that's all that matters.
Also, it could be stage-fright. I know everyone says that you should picture your audience in their underwear - but I don't know if that really works. Plus - most of the time, the people you are performing in front of don't know you personally, so it's not like you're ever going to see them again and be embarrassed.
So go out there and show them what you've got! You have nothing to lose! =)

i'm going to be a freshman, and just got my braces off, and my teeth are kinda yellow. i heard that some of the teeth-whitening products don't really work & are too expensive. what should i do?! i can't go to highschool looking like this! please help! (link)

You're so lucky to get your braces off, mine have to stay on for another couple of months! =/
My dad used Crest White-Strips and they worked really well. After about a month, his teeth were so white (not blinding). Also, he uses a whitening toothpaste.
Make sure you stay away from coffee, soda, or any other food or drink that may stain your teeth.

Your friend has a reason to be mad at you. Cutting yourself is very serious - and you should stop! It may help you feel better, but there are other things that help you feel better than self-mutalation. Try writing out your feelings in a diary or as lyrics to a song or poem. It makes you feel a heck of a lot better, without damaging yourself.
The only reason your friend is getting really mad at you is because she doesn't want to witness you hurting yourself. She loves you! Tell her that you're so glad that you're friends with her and so grateful that she's looking out for you and by your side.

Before he leaves for Iraq, I think you should give him a note saying how much you like him. The age differences might be a problem, but if he looks into your eyes like that, he must like you. If you think it's too cheesy to write a note to him - just tell him how you feel. Say that you feel like you're very attatched to him and you'll miss him alot. Or, once he's in Iraq - send him letters and stuff to let him know that you're thinking of him. (Send him a pic. of yourself)! Good luck =)

Here's an easy hair-do - after a shower, have someone french braid your hair. Make sure they use gel and hair-spray it alot. Then, in the morning, un-do your braid and voila! Curls galore! I hope I helped =)

I don't think you can change the cases of your letters in your username. That's what I'm trying to do, too. Ask ne of the administrators -> advicenator_admin for advice on it! Get back to me if we can change the cases! =)

You should talk to your friend. Tell her you saw what she did and ask her why she did that. She probably knows you're going out with him and didn't want to tell you that she had feelings for him. Also, ask your boyfriend if anything is going on between them. Good luck! =)

I think you should dress up your room with some brightly-colored curtains and a colorful area rug. Also, make sure your bed-spreads have plenty of color in them! I hope I helped you =)

I think after you've been dating for almost a year is probably the right time. The guy could feel really intimidated if you tell him during the first few months of your relationship that you alreay "love him". But, then again, 13-year-olds seem to be loving guys even before they start dating.
Go with your heart and you can't go wrong!

I love chicken caeser salads.
Ingredients: Lettuce, carrots, cheddar-cheese bits, bacon bits, cut-up chicken pieces, and low fat caesar dressing.

my mother is like so evil!!!!!!! Whenevr we r down town in cleveland and we drive past some colored people she locks the doors but she doesnt do that when wer by whites. she is so races. i cant stand her. it hurts me a lot to know that she has a problem with black people. and she yelled at me the other day for wanting a punkish/gothic style and shes like"you do not come from a family of punks or gths so your sticking to aero and other prepy stores" how do i deal with her. sometimes i feel like running away from home. help me!!!! Maybe your mother grew up in a home that considered color people different and maybe dangerous. That's not the case today, but your mom may not be aware of that. She's also afraid of you turning out differently than she wants you to. You mom wants you to be preppy and a cute little girl, when all you want is to show individuality. Tell her how you feel and that you think she's holding the reigns too tight.

Tell your friend that you're being completely honest with her and that you'd never make up a lie of that magnitude. Tell her that you don't want her getting hurt - and that she has to seriously ask her boyfriend if he is cheating on her and that she'll leave him if he is.
