my room
my room is soo boring! i have a dresser, a big desk for homework and all this other stuff, plus 2 twin beds and a small closet! the walls are white and the landlord wont let me paint them, how can i make my room look better? dont say whatever you want, say real stuff!!! thanks a bunch!

First of all before I start, SCREW THE LANDLORD! WHAT KIND OF JERK IS HE?! ITS A FREE COUNTRY!!! Ehm...excuse that :) anyway, I think that you should get a bunch of pictures of your friends and maybe make a collage on your wall. Put up posters of your favorite bands and celebrities, and put a DiiScO LiiGhT in your room, or maybe rope light! Make a collage of drawings your buddies and yourself make (thats what I do, and it's turning out real good). I hope I helped ;]

Save up some money for cool accesories to match your bedspread. Or you could buy a new bespread and new accesories for your room. Hope I helped!

Maybe (a little costly) you could buy some boards and paint them and put them around your room on the walls. You could maybe hang up lots of pictures. Good LUck XOXO!

okay. this mite sound weird. but...i was reading in a magazine and it said that if your parents wouldnt let you paint the walls that you could like..get shopping bags from your favorite places to shopp and hang them on your wall. and you can also make like signs and put pictures of your friends on there to. With the beds. maybe you can talk your parents into getting a full or queen bed * which ever you have room for* and you can get like a different comforter or sheets w.e`! re-arange your room to`! that helps..and uh...if there is somewhere else that you could move the big desk then move it out of there unless you want it and it has your computer on it * like me * but once you move one of those beds out you will probably have more room and theres like these kool little pull out tubs that you can get at like target and places like that. you can get those in different colors and you'll have a kool new room`! hope i could help

In my room, I have white walls too. So I covered them with posters of stuff I like. Maybe you could do that. And maybe get some new bedding and curtains.

I think you should dress up your room with some brightly-colored curtains and a colorful area rug. Also, make sure your bed-spreads have plenty of color in them! I hope I helped you =)

My friends took wrapping paper and covered the walls with it when they were in college. It was pretty neat. You could probably get some cheap at the dollar store or thrift store.

You can paint your desk // whatever else in your room is paintable. Get cute rugs, hang pictures, posters, etc. Get cute shades // whatever kind of window coverings. Floor pillows, cute lamps, chairs, whatever, get new new bedding, etc.

you could add posters of some bands|actors|singers that you like or just take a bunch of pictures of your friends and put them on your wall, that what i did in my room, and it looks awesome. i hope i helped youu.

Well a simple way to spice up your room is to add POSTERS!!! You can get special kind of putty so that you won't put holes in your walls so your landlord won't be mad. Umm...try adding funky carpets, lamps, etc. You can find cute things at Target!

Post pics of ur friends in a certain wall of ur room like ur closet doors or something, and hang some posters up. Buy some comfortors that match ur style, start from there..and then i think u'll get the hang of it.

get really cool sheets and a cool comforter. put up posters. a big thing with my friends and me is making collages. go through old magazines and cut out different phrases and pictures you like and paste them onto cardboard. it's fun if you have your friends help and stuff. put up those cool stringed lights. put up a dry erase board so when your friends come over, everyone can sign and put down memories and a message. have fun!!! drop one in my inbox or IM me if you need more help or ideas. **

if i was you, i'd hang posters. posters to cover all the walls, so you cant see the wall anymore. of music artists and movies you like or if you want something classy, do like reproduction of painting posters. you can get them at museums.id get a black trunk for extra storage, because your closet is soo tiny. maybe put mirror on one whole wall. makes room seem much bigger. and curtains. curtains can make or break a room. if you wanted to do the classy art poster idea, you could get pretty, long, all the way to the floor curtains. if tyou went with the music artist/movie poster idea. you coud get something simple that would match like plain linen roman shades from IKEA. if you arent sharing a room. ive seen things that can conjoin to twin beds to make them a king bed.ive see it in Skymall magazine. but i bet they'd have it at bed bath and beyond or a store like that.i hope i helped. much luck.

paint your walls black then have like pink spray paint graffiti on the walls or like have all your friend write stuff on the walls with chalk everytime they come ova.

well you can always make mirrages and put pictures of friends everywhere, or you can buy posters and hang them up. There are many ways to livin up your room, just be creative! Good luck!

If you are on a tight budget you can go to IKEA they have tons of super cute stuff for a really low price!! If you put like pictures on the wall that will definitely bring out the color you can also get an area rug to kind tie things together! maybe you can buy a queenmatress and stick it on top of the 2 twinss! Paint your desk and kind of FUNK it up a lil!!

Get a bed with floral bedding or something and maybe get carpeting that adds a little color. Get a rug that matches the bedding and then buy some really cute pillows to go with it. I hope I helped!

ok, well we just moved a few months ago and i wasnt allowed to paint my room either(parents wouldnt let me) so i decided to make the room "Me" I put up posters, drew pictures, made up quotes and taped them to my wall, everything that resembled me. Another great thing is get a bunch of pics together of you and ur friends and make a huge collage..i did that on my bulletin board and it looks great!
