I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

13/f i was at a televised party and my best friend and i in a shot were in the background about to kiss we were touching lips even. im not allowd to date anymore but it was my best friend(a guy). once my parents watch it again tomarrow ill be dead. and whyd they put it on air. what do i do at school tomarrow? nobody knows we kiss people think theres nothing romantic between us anymore. what do i do?i need an answer before 6-7am tomarrow or tonight pleaasse. also i changed as something different once i got there. put on alot more eyeliner and everything usual im gothic people say. but my mom thinks i wore a nice little blue dress. but ill deal with that. i need help with us kissing. and possibly my clothes.

Anyways, fess up to your parents. They're probably going to find out anyways, so you need to tell the truth & bare the punishment. You KNEW the party was televised & acted like that anyways. Didn't you realize that there was a chance something you'd do would get put on camera? All in all, this is your fault & you need to take responsibility for your actions. Don't blame the person who's airing it, BLAME YOURSELF. YOU dressed that way. YOU wore all that makeup. YOU knew the party was being filmed. YOU knew it would probably end up somewhere where your parents could see it. And YOU did what you did anyways knowing certain things. This is no one else's fault. This is your fault.

My friend told me something like she was watching oprah and she found out there are fishes called the penis fish and the vagina fish. And she usually lies to me and when I say I believe her she tells me she was joking. But this time she didn't say that. And she told all our friends too. K, so there's this guy I like, he's a senior, I'm a sophomore, the entire year has been filled with awkward moments (like, borderline does he like me? moments.) He has a girlfriend, and he flirts with me a lot.

let's see i'm trying to make my hair emo style but i'm trying to figure how do you make your hair so straight? i used to comb my hair up all the time and make it spikey and i've been doing that almost forever but now i wanna try somthing new. i combed my hair down and it barely covers half of my forehead but it doesnt go straight all the way. the ends of the strands of my hair always curve to one direction and it doesnt stay straight down and look triangular shape-like. will it help to keep my hair combed down for a long time or is there a way to make it really straight? i'm a guy by the way and i don't wanna end up using a hair straightener unless there's a certain one for guys. i'm thinking of going to a place like Super Cuts and ask them to do it for me and if i do someday how much will a hair cut like that cost? and does anyone know a site with pictures of emo hairstyles? i want the kind where your hair is combed straight down and part of it covers one of your eyes. i've never really been to a barber before cause my mom usually gives me my hair cuts and i cant ask her for an emo one cause she doesnt like how my hair is combed down. and i know its ok to not care what other people think of you but what if its your parents? im getting tired of my mom saying that i look so ugly with my haired combed down. to me i dont look so bad and no one at school says anything about it. probably i'll look a little better once my acne disappears completely but still i want my mom to stop saying im ugly.

I don't believe that there are straighteners just for guys, but there's no shame in using one at all whether it's male or female. Since there probably are no male ones, your best bet would be to just suck it up & use one no matter what the gender.

For SuperCuts however, they probably wouldn't know what you were talking about, so you would need to bring in pictures where they could see all angles of the head so they can develop the sense of how to do the hairstyle & then ask an estimate of how much that would cost you. If you think it costs too much or that they'd fuck up your hair [which they might since they're probably not prone or experienced to doing that type of cut], maybe see if a friend cuts hair & can do it for you. Some of my friends cut their own hair & it looks really good so I trust them with my head to dye & cut & do whatever else. So maybe see if a friend could try it out for you.

As for your mother -- IN MY OPINION -- no, you shouldn't care what your mother thinks about you. I mean, yes she's your mother but choices about hair/clothing & whatever else are YOUR choices. She'll care what you do, but it's your head, it's your hair, why does it matter? My dad always used to yell at me for wearing short shorts or for wearing bikinis and there'd be this huge deal where I'd get mad and say "Well, it's not on your damn body so don't worry about what the fuck I'm wearing." and so on. However, I did see where he was coming from. I'm his daughter, his baby, his youngest & he was scared of me growing up. Scared of me going out & trying new things & scared of how guys would react when they saw me dressed a certain way. Basically, make YOUR OWN choices, BUT see it from your mom's point of view too. It makes things a whole lot easier between the two of you & you can explain that to her.

Alright first off when i was looking for emo hairstyles i saw this thing on the internet. it said theres a day called Emo Kid Beatdown Day and it happens on June 6th. FIRST OF ALL is there truly a messed up day like that?!? i tried searching on the net for more information but all i got were stupid forums talking about how kids were beating up emo kids on June 6th. this all sickens me because 1. im Emo myself and 2. WHY!?!? i read this one forum where a kid talks about how he beat up an Emo at school and not a teacher did a damn thing. all the teachers did was laugh at the Emo kids who got beaten up and they laughed even more and harder when they found out it was so called Emo Beatdown Day. that just disgusted me even more...so there truly a day like that? i'm in highschool now and its pretty messed up there and im a bit worried that i might get beaten but i'm also angered on how some people can be toward others who are just different from everyone else. your information based on this will be quite helpful to me cause i need REAL answers...

Kids are stupid, & they pick on people for stupid things.

However, although it does not exist, some kids do actually act on like it does & it can be related to their type of culture or whatever. Kids at my school have done it & I last heard about it last year. I overheard some kids at my school talking about how they were going to "throwdown & beatdown on some emos." Pathetic & sad? Yeah.

Basically, some kids will act on it, and some won't. But to make you comfortable -- there's no such thing as National Emo Beatdown Day & there's nothing to be worried about. If you're honestly worried someone may try to harm you though, you can tell a trusted adult, or skip school that day. I would suggest the first thing.

You need to ask your boyfriend what he meant because we're not him & don't know what he was thinking when he said it.

He could've meant you never try and that you just seem to just say fuck it. But then again, I'm not him so that's something you'd need to confront him about.
