In the lyrics, does it say
"Hoping that he's MEANT for more than arguments and failed attempts to fly."
or
"Hoping that he's BENT for more than arguments and failed attempts to fly."
I've looked the lyrics up on numorous websites, and alot of them say "meant" as well as "bent"
The song itself sounds as if he's saying "bent" but that wouldn't make as much sense as "meant"

It's "meant". It makes a lot more sense in the song, since he's "meant to live for so much more" than that!

It's meant. There's a lot more sites with meant rather than bent. Plus, bent wouldn't fit in with the song.
