My name is Melissa. I'm a sophomore, and finally SWEET 16. So, I'll be driving on January 7th. I usually go by May or Mel. In the picture is myself and my AMAZING boyfriend Kyle. He's truly my entire world & I'm not sure how I got lucky enough to get someone like him. I don't like girls. They're fake, and I just in general dislike most girls. Little known fact? There are times I hate my best friend, I mean, hate hate. She drives me insane. When I'm close friends with a girl it's a big deal. As far as best friends go; I have Kyle, who's the most amazing boyfriend in the world; Jennifer Anne Reese aka: PIECUP.. she's one of the few girls I'm close to. I'm generally a nice person, if I like you. If I don't, you'll know it.

In college I want to major in psychology; with a minor in wedding planning or some type of organizational planning type thing. I'm a planning freak. I ALWAYS have a plan, and if you don't plan stuff ahead of time, I'll probably kill you. I tend to change my plan spur of the moment a lot, but I always have one. Lol, one of those weird things about me.


I'm not that much of a "laid back" person. In general, I have my opinion, and I'm going to win. Drama = stupid. But just like every other girl on the planet, I definitely start my share of the drama. I don't like it, but it follows me like a puppy, so I'll just admit I start stuff.

There's really nothing you can do to make it stop. Try doing more leg excersises, and becoming more flexible. Hopefully that helps.

I'm not a guy, but I think that you should tell him how you feel. If you're comfortable enough to be talking about sex, then letting him know you have some feelings shouldn't be THAT big of an issue. When people joke, 50% of it [give or take] is true, or has some truth to it. So he might feel the same way. Talk to him and see what happens. Maybe he just doesn't want to make the first move.

I would say to go, but avoid him. He's the person that you should be angry with. He ruined one of your best friendships. Yes, you're at fault too but you shouldn't even be talking to him since he knew what he was doing. Plus by talking to him you're just pushing your friend farther away.

i recently kissed one of my best mates ex boyfriends. they had only broke up about 2 weeks earlier and the reason they broke up was because he cheated on her. she was so upset when she found out he cheated, i was one of her shoulders to cry on. then a week later, whilst talking 2 her ex boy friend, he starts asking me if i would ever be with him. I must admit i did have feelings for him but i understood that i really shouldnt pursue it if i wanted 2 stay friends with my friend. he was emailing me and telling me that he thort he had feelings for me.. i wasnt really sure wat to do, i didnt want 2 lie and tell him that i had no feelings 4 him but at the same time i was constantly thinknig of my friend. then at a party that wknd i had a few drinks and me and this boy got rather close. he told me that if we hooked up we would keep it a secret and no one would ever know, at the time i thort that it would work and i wasnt thinknig clearly. i kissed him 4 about 2 minutes before realising that i would have 2 pay for my actions. we agreed 2 not tell anyone but naturally we both couldnt keep it 2 ourselves. My friend then confronted me and asked me about it, i didnt want 2 lie seeing i new taht would be worse in the long run. i told her the truth but didnt really get a chance 2 tell her all the details and appologise in fully. From that day on she has been avoiding me, we did have a brief talk about it and she said she didnt hate me she was jsut really really hurt, but deep down i no that i have ruined our friendship and taht it is my fault. i really want 2 talk it threw with her and get things back 2 normal but i understand that she needs time and may not ever want 2 forgive me. i really want 2 make up and i regret doing it so much, even tho i have very strong feelings for the boy. it was really stupid of me now thinking back, sacrificing such a good friend for a boy who cheats on his girlfriends and plays girls. i dont know how i could have been so stupid. please help me what do i do 2 not hurt her anymore and not hurt him?

There's nothing you can do. It's good that you see that you're at fault, and you should talk to her and tell her that. But don't push your old frienship on her, she's going to need time to think and she may not want to be friends anymore. Talk to her and let her know.

I have a couple questions about getting your eyebrow pierced.

1) How long of periods can the ring be out for?
(say for example a work day)
-My bellybutton ring can be out for 24 hrs...

2) Does anyone know any websites which sell cute "straight rings" ?
-I am a very preppy (lol) person, I love pink, flowers, hearts, etc.
-I do not want spikes, or barbells; so far that's all I can find.

I hear a lot of people say that applying toothpaste on pimples helps to clear it. I asked my dermatologist if that was a good remedy, but she said that there's no known ingredient in toothpaste that would aid to get rid of pimples. Does it really work? I would try it out myself, but I'm a little skeptical of putting toothpaste on my face.

I don't think it works expecially better than any other product. I would say don't even waste your time because it's worse than using an actual store bought product.

Wal-Mart carries it. So do most drug-stores. [CVS, Walgreens, etc.] Make sure you get the bladeless razor one and NOT the apply and wipe off kind. It doesn't work. The bladeless does.

I really need help!

I can't fall asleep ever, i'm getting in a really bad habbit, a REALLY bad one. School atarts in less then 3 weeks! And I start school around 6 *thats what time it's suggested that you wake up*

And I dont go to sleep un'till about 3:57 AM or atleast 6:24... Between those times. That means I'd have to stay up for almost 2 days straight!

Are sleeping pills healthy? I really have to get out of this habbit. It's going to ruin my whole school year!

And P.S: I sleep atleast untill 2 in the afternoon, Thats what time school ends. I can sleep through school!


So about the pills, what is a really good brand that really works. How long do they take to work and make you fall asleep (kick in)? I have pill-Phobia for large pills, Do they come in a big size? My parents don't want to spend over $50 for them. They want me to have a good education, do they effect your mood in anyway if you take them? How many do you take?

Sorry it was so long, but im trying to get as much information I possibally can.

Sleeping pills aren't healthy if you take them ALL the time. I'm 15, and I used to live off them because I couldn't ever go to sleep before 5 AM. The smart thing to do is get some from a drug-store and try them. [They're anywhere from 3 to 50 dollars a box.]

Try Sominex. They work well, and normally take around 45 minutes to work. Most sleeping pills are relatively small, and some come in packets of two so they aren't that big. Read the box to find out how many to take. They SHOULDN'T change your mood or anything like that, but that also depends on the person.

Nomatter what, 14 is really young. Make sure that you really want your first time to be with this guy before you worry about moments and timing, because once it happens you can't ever take it back. Also get put on Birth Control because if you're considering sex you need to be protected.

If it's the right moment, you'll just know. There won't be ANY doubts, so if you're feeling any at all, don't do it. If he really likes you, it shouldn't matter if you're ready or not.

Alright, first some background info. Im 16 and im a virgin, never done anything sexual with a guy. Ok now..my period is a week late for some reason and my mom is freaking out and asking me if ive gotten it like every 2 or 3 hours. Recently i have really cut back on like really fatty food, ive started running about a mile and half 2 or 3 times a week, and i started a job..which is a bit stressfull at times. Those things can make it come late right? Ive also felt like ive been going to get it, sore boobs, wicked bad cramps, headache that wont go away no matter if i take tylenol or not. First of all, all of those things can make your period late or irregular, so CHILL! And if your mom's that worried that it's late, you need to get put on Birth Control. Then it will become a lot more regular.

What you do would depend on how far you have gone. Just let it flow naturally. But definitely do the note idea, and maybe give him a picture of you two together with the note. That's always special and it will keep him missing you. Have fun in Aruba!

There's really no way to tell WHY he does that. If you care about him in the same way he says he cares about you then you need to confront him about the way he's acting. Maybe he's just shy? Or maybe he isn't sure about how you feel. So talk to him. And don't go by what others tell you, because nobody but him knows the complete truth.

Okay, first of all you NEED to get some NICKEL FREE toe rings. If you're allergic to the nickel in the toe rings it WILL turn your toes green. [I'm allergic to any jewelry with nickel in it, and that's what any jewelry will do.] Before you spend a lot of money getting them, try some nickel free ones, or sterling silver. Claire's normally has really cute toe rings that are nickel free.

ok if someone is pregnent how soon would morning sickness kick in? and do all women get morning sickkness? do most women get morning sickness by the time they are 2 weeks pregnent?

All pregnancies are different. It depends upon that person and their body. Morning sickness should start around 2 weeks to 6 weeks into the pregnancy, and should be over by the end of the first trimester. [3 months into the pregnancy.]
