whats wrong with him?
my friend likes me a lot.. and he told me he did and he told my friends he did.. and sometimes all he does is tell me how much he cares about me.. but then out of nowhere he stops calling me and ignores me and then a few days later hell call me again.. why does he do this?

Well it seems to me like he really likes you ; and maybe he's getting embarassed because he's afraid he might be annoying you or he doesn't want to be calling you TOO much. And he might be afraid of saying something stupid or something. Or he might be trying to see how you'll react, like if you try and call him back and ask why he didn't call or anything like that. He might also be afraid of rejection. If you like him, I think you should go for it! Cause it seems to me like he cares about you alot, and it's nice to have a guy like that, but if you don't, tell him. Just be like," I know you like me alot, but I'm sorry, I just don't have those same feelings back....but I still wanna be your friend. I like you as a friend, nothing more." ( or something like that ) so he won't feel like he's totally rejected and you guys are still friends. I hope I helped!!

He may be scared of being rejected... he prolly says those tihngs n then realizes it n thinks he made himself look stupid...n doesnt want to face you because hes embarassed....do you like him? because if you do tell him because it sounds like he really likes you!

There's really no way to tell WHY he does that. If you care about him in the same way he says he cares about you then you need to confront him about the way he's acting. Maybe he's just shy? Or maybe he isn't sure about how you feel. So talk to him. And don't go by what others tell you, because nobody but him knows the complete truth.

There's a couple reasons this could be going on. The least plausible but still possible answer is that he just gets too busy or has too hectic of a day and cant find the time to call you and have a good long conversation.
another reason is that he might just feel awkward doing so.. have you told him your feelings for him? he might just be trying to stay back and not call you too much, especially if he thinks your not interested, or not interested as much as he is. He also might be worried about seeming stalkerish or too clingy, nobody wants to seem like that.
I'd say maybe hes playing hard to get, but that doesnt make sense with telling you and your friends that he likes you. =P

Maybe you're just overreacting. Give him his space for a couple of days and if you're stil uncomfortable with it, try talking to him about it. If he really does like you, then i'm sure he's not purposefully ignoring you. So just be patient, try talking to him and take it slow!!!

there are two things that could be going on, one, he could just be really busy and struggels to find time to call you, or hes just a low down dirty dog, that just plays with you emotions for his twisted amusment.

im not sure why boys do the things they do but all i can say is you should ask him yourself. i mean my ex boyfriend used to do that and i was so confused untill i asked him and he told me he didnt even relize he was doing it. so ask him. good luck.
