One of my best friend's brother died in a car crash because of street racing. Tomorrow I am going to his funeral with our friends and to be there for my friend. I really dont know what to wear and what I'm supposed to do there. Do I bring a gift. I feel really bad. He was onlt 17 years old. Please help.

Well, you'd probably want to wear black, it's a moruning, respectful color. You'd probably wouldn't want to bring a present because it might offend the other people in the family. Because ususally you bring a present to partys, they might think you are celebrating or something like that. Just bring flowers, roses probably.. I'm sorry to hear about your friend's death.

i've heard alot of you recommend certain dri from sweaty underarms. i live in canada and i was wondering if you can get it here? i haven't checked but i don't wanna go and find out that they don't sell it. i live in toronto ON. and i was wondering if they have certain dri in like places like shoppers or main drug mart or places like that.. and if they do, which place is cheaper? thank you

Well they probably do, because it's probably a north america/canada product.. just go to your local drug-store, they should probably sell it there. I don't know what store is cheaper...

In a way, Carter is hurting you more than Christina is, because he doesn't see how much more this is hurting you, than it is Christina. Because it kinda seems as if Christina is getting a kick outta this.. eh? Is Christina one of those, "My way or the highway" type of people? Because she's comming off as one. If Carter didn't devote 24/7 toward her, she was mad. If you spoke with "Her MAN" then she was mad. I know, I know it hurts to see them together It's like, "Aww look at the cute couples!" But, that's all people see out of it. Try as hard as you can to not let them being together bring you down, because it's putting Christina in control. You don't want her to be in control because then it's almost like blackmail to you. because she could be like, "I don't want you hanging out with Carter, then I'll be your friend, but if you hang out with him, then you'll lose all your friends and I'll hate you." you DO NOT want that happeneing, huh. Is Tami still upset with you? Is Carter still as close with you when this began?

yeah with christina everything has to be her way, and shes always the first person to put someones ideas down. before i go on i have to say that all this stuff is just her bad qualities and she has good ones too, but the bad has just been standing out more latley. im not sure about tami, today in history we laughed and had fun, but im still not sure. i think im going to try talking to her tomorrow. me and carter are still just as close, we get closer like every day. i think it hurts him that he cant share his usual stories (every single thing that goes on with him and his girlfriend) because he knows that it reminds me that she hates me and makes me sad. he knows that though and is really good about it. on monday night i was really really upset about it and we talked about it for like 3 hours and he was like "can you read this font okay? is the size big enough? are the colors okay because i can change the colors? are you sure you can read this typing?" and i was like "yeah" and then he was like "well its going to be OKAY. i promise you." so hes been great. i dont think its so much them being perfect couples that bothers me, but the fact that my so called best friends can just forget me so easily and be happy. tamis locker is right outside my second period class and theyre always there when i walk up to go in and i try to just go in and forget about it, which i do easily because the girls in there are just AWESOMEE, they get my mind off it. but when i walk up and see them its never fun. it sucks though because i see carter turn and see me and start to ecnowledge that im there and i have to just walk in, its too hard. i need to be sure to not ignore him, but if i told him why he wouldnt be mad, just dissapointed that i let them get to me.

i have this friend and we are really good friends. I am a 15 year old guy and she is a 14 year old girl. She wants me but i feel if we go out and something happens between us that we might not be friends afterwards. I dont want that to happen. How can i tell her this without hurting her feelings?

With girls, rejection is pretty hard, expeccially from a guy we like alot! So put it into terms she'd understand, how you value yalls friendship and it means too much to risk being together.

Well, for me I keep them cut short. There isn't really a way to keep them clean... unless u like put a plastic bag on them, but i doubt you wanna do that. So just cut them shorter

hey its me who talked to you like 23985 times last night. haha. today i hung out with tami alot in history, we were partners (we chose to be)and we laughed and had fun. but im still not sure if she'll be that way around christina. but a new problem has arose. mine and carters lockers are right by eachothers, and i have major issues and i can never open mine so he helps me and we talk while he does, usually thats just normal, and i guess i figured he wouldnt do it when shes like standing with him waiting for him to get his stuff. but he came up and was like "tedd do you want me to open your locker" and he started to. (tedd is his nickname for me, im not sure why) and she just stood there looking pissed off while he opened it and was talking to me. i felt really bad and next period when he did it again i was like "no im okay" and then he saw me struggling and looked me in the eyes so i was like "fine work your magic" and shes still standing there arms crossed while he continues to joke around about how much i cant open it. and now i feel like im working away from me and her being friends again. any suggestions?

I'm gonna be blunt. This girl is mean.
- She's mad at you because her boyfriend Is helping her "BEST FRIEND" aren't BEST FRIENDS supposed to be happy when someone is helping their "bff" out? Well she's mad because she thinks your flirting with him, and let me tell you, you are ABSOLUTLY not! If anything you're trying to stay away from him. About the letting her cool down thing, it doesn't look like she's gonna give up. She's more of the hostile type, and holds grudges very easily. But she does need some one on one time with you because you need to let her know how you feel. She's being very selfish by not letting you voice your opionin on what's going on, and she's just letting her feelings take over. Best friends are supposed to listen to their friends, but not let them walk all over you. And you, are letting her win this battle. You're doing everything to try and be friends with her again, when she might even not be worth it. Staying away from Carter doesn't seem to be doing the trick, and it shouldn't because afterall, who saw him first? (you right?) She doesn't have any right to be mad anymore, now she's being selfish and not thinking of you when you need her most.

How can you tell who a major flirt likes? Does he show them more attention or less? He probably would flirt with you more. It's going to be hard to find out if he REALLY Likes you or if your just another girl to him. So you need to flirt back. He probably does like you, but you can't be too sure with flirts! But those signs seem to be teling me that he likes you! GOOD LUCk!

If you remeber the key thing in life, God puts us through something for a reason. Maybe He's doing this to help you become stronger. If you look at it this way, Satin is the stuff your looking at it, and it's a test that God is puting you through. He's testing to see who's stronger in your life, Satin or God. Right now you're letting Satin win, which you cannot do. You aren't fighting this temptaion alone. Turn to God when times are tough, that's what He's there for.

Well! there's nothing specific you could say to make her fall head over heels for you.. right away. But you can charm her.
- I like "You're beautifuls" and "I miss yous"
- you can compliment her on her clothes, smile, eyes, anything because with girls it doesn't matter what it is, it just matters your getting a compliment.
-try to refein from calling her HOT to her face because it makes us feel small and degraded

Well, it is wrong because you really don't want to be a mom at 14.. and who knows how your mother would react? Just think through what your doing. Yes, it will hurt mostly because your body isn't mature enough. I strongly believe in absentance, so I' m waiting for the one I love and wait until I get married before I do anything like that.

And you know you are ready and its the right thing to lose your virginity to him. You are completely prepared and use protection (both condom and birth control.) Do you think although you're ready, seventeen is still too young to have sex?

Well, I personally think it's wrong because I strongly believe in abstenance. So i'm going to wait until I find the one I love, and get married. Then I'll know I'll be ready.

Hi...
I am about to get my braces off and i dont know why but my orthodontist does a lot of stuff to your teeth like 3 weeks beofre you get them off and they are so sore and i am having to wear 5 different rubber band in 5 different places and they are just really sore and i was wondering if anyone knew anything i could do to make them feel better besides eating ice cream because i am on a diet.
Also, anyone who has had there braces off, i have heard it does hurt and i have heard it doesn't hurt. Does it? Does that polishing thingy feel weird?

It doesn't hurt, it's Just very unfortable. you have to sit there with your mouth extemely dry for a while.. like 40 minutes? Well for the rubberbands.. the only thing you can do is advil, or aleve... the more you wear them, the less they hurt.
