Whenever I put my hair up [using a hair band] in something like a ponytail, it usually falls down soon after. How do you put your hair up and use your band to make it tight abnd sturdy, and so that it stay for a long period of time?
theres these hair ties called Stay Put and the brand is Goody. they work really good! they also come in different sizes, like really big or small or just the normal size. you can get them at walmart, target, walgreens, rite aid, and most drug stores. heres some info about it that i found on google:
Goody StayPut elastic are slip-proof hair bands that have an intertwining rubbery strip which gently and securely keeps hair in place without dreaded broken ends. It’s a simple and effective hair solution that makes you wonder why someone didn’t think of it before.
Top Ten Ponytail Styling Tricks:
1. Start with day-old hair and don’t wash it the day you wear a ponytail. Your hair's natural oils will help the ponytail hold better.
2. Use a soft gel to lightly go over the hair to keep short ends in and rid any fly away hairs for a more polished look. Also dab a little bit of conditioner on ends to keep them looking glossy.
3. With a flat paddle brush, use small circular rotations to sweep the hair up. This will keep hair flat and reduce any tangles or pesky bumps.
4. Before you start brushing the hair, decide where on the head you want the ponytail to sit. Use the palm of your hand to grab the hair easily and place it up.
5. If you have long or very curly hair, flip your head upside down to smooth out the front of your hair, then come back right-side up to actually secure the hair elastic.
6. Once the pony is secured in your hand, give the hair a slight clockwise twist to interlock any shorter layers.
7. For a tighter ponytail, slip the hair elastic into position and change hands to give it a second or third twist.
8. When removing the hair elastic, hold the base of the ponytail and glide the elastic off so it doesn’t pull or snag strands.
9. For a simple chignon, tie the hair elastic at the root of the hair and tie another elastic on the ends. Then knot the hair under and pin both elastics together
10. For shorter layers, use multiple hair elastics on the hair to hold in the layers and keep strands in place. Use different colors for a fashion statement.

ok this is going to sound stupid, but i bought the cologne Jake from Hollister
ive never used cologne before, always stuck with Axe spray
so how do i know how much to use and other basics like that?

haha alot of guys in my school wear that stuff and it smells sooo good to me lol. 2 sprays should be enough, its really strong. dont spray it directly on your clothes, spray the perfume in the air like 2 or 3 times and walk through it. hope i helped!

After I straighten my hair it goes wavy after like 10min. Then I straighten it again, and it gets better. Still I want it straight the first time, does anybody now any tips I could use?

Put this stuff called Pantene Pro-V Get it Straight mousse. put it in your hair before you straighten it. also, probably get a new straightner. I got a pink Revlon one for only 12.90 at Marshalls and it works really good! Check walmart, target, stores like that. also check for a straightner with ceramic plates that work a lil better and dont damage your hair as much. the price of straightners should be between $10-40 but hey, its worth it. also use a straightning shampoo and conditioner and when you straighten your hair it should be straighter. i recommend the purple sunsilk or herbal essences Dangerously Straight. when you're done straightning your hair, use herbal essences dangerously straight hairspray. good luck and hope i helped!

I have a bad vaginal odor ..i've already been to a doctor and they said I do not have any infections, and to just continue to wash properly and yada yada yada...however, I wash myself daily and have no idea what is causing this. Does anyone know of any way to get rid of this horrible odor???
if you have your period, change your pad or tampon more often. Always pads just came out with a new pad with an attached wipe with it so whenever you change your pad you can wipe yourself with the wipe that comes with it. or just use scented tampons or pads. if you don't have your period, just like everyone said bring wipes with you. good luck and hope i helped!

We're having a party soon and I need some recipe ideas. Here's what we've already decided to do:
Deviled eggs(made to look like eyes), a meat loaf (made to look like corpse with "bloody"(ketchup) knife going through it), stuffed "jalapenos from hell" (stuffed with a cream cheese, garlic, pimento mixture dyed red), a mexican dip with halloween shaped tortilla chips, a pumpkin shaped and colored cheeseball and crackers, and a bread snake (like a baguette, painted striped with food coloring). Things that could go with these things would be great. We're not little kids, we're in our 20's, so gory but not hoky is good. Oh, but I HATE the cat box idea. Other stuff please! well get a rubber latex glove and wash it out, pour water in it and tie it up and stick it in the freezer for a few hours until its completly frozen. put some punch in a punch bowl and take the glove out of the freezer, cut the glove off, and put it in the punch bowl, and it actully looks like a floating hand in blood(the red punch) lol pretty cool.

im 15/f. i turned 15 july 25th. i've been getting my period since i was 12. i dont know why but ever since i was on the verge of turning 14 goin on 15 i've been feeling depressed before i get my period..its crazy i could be happy all month and forget about my issues but at the end of the month it's like i feel so bad and miserable. and i dont have a really bad attitude and i think im too young to have PMS. i hate that feeling when im miserable cuz all i do is cry and just bring my self down but at least i can blame it on my period and try not to be so down but i just wanted to know does anybody relate to this.
this happens to me too. its just horomones! and no, ur not too young to have PMS, that's probably it. take a really warm bath, lay down, excercise, it really relaxes you. just try not to let your feelings out on your family and friends. hope i helped!

i have hair on my arms. about a year ago i started to shave them, but i only did about twice cause my friend told me that it makes the hair darker and stronger.
i haven't shaved them since.
but i have noticed that they are black now, and i don't want to shave them cause of what my friend said.
what else could i do? wax? or something else?

your friend is right, don't shave them. waxing them is the best, and the results last up to 4-8 weeks! go to walmart or target or something and look in the beauty section where the razors and stuff are and you should be able to find the right waxing strips. good luck and hope i helped!

13/f/8th grade. im in 8th grade now, and i play basketball, soccer, softball, and volleyball. im very good at all of my sports, and i am almost 5'9". in high school we can only play one sport per season, and i have to choose between basketball and soccer, but im equally devoted to both sports and i love them both so much. i play wing in basketball usually and center defense or midfield in soccer. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
