hair on my arms
i have hair on my arms. about a year ago i started to shave them, but i only did about twice cause my friend told me that it makes the hair darker and stronger.
i haven't shaved them since.
but i have noticed that they are black now, and i don't want to shave them cause of what my friend said.
what else could i do? wax? or something else?

if your scared of waxing, i recommend buying a 'silkymit' it takes a while to do but the hair grows back thinner and after a few weeks it looks completely normal but a lot thinner =)

Oh wow, I can't believe no one told you to bleach the hair. I'm going to assume that the hair is not super thick, it's probably just super dark. Bleaching is totally the answer. Arm hair is totally normal and fine looking. In fact, people without arm hair look kind of creepy and weird. Just go to the drug store and pick up some Sally Hansen bleach (it will probably be in the face goo aisle of the store). It's less than ten bucks, it doesn't hurt, and it will totally solve the problem. The best thing is that it will basically last forever.

you can shave them about once aevery two motnhs, and it wont affect them too much
your hair gets darker and thhicker ONLY if you do it on a daily basis.
if you dont od it too much, you can shave it
but you can wax them if you want, because if you do it enough, eventually the hair will com eback thinner an dlighter, the opposite of shaving

your friend is right, don't shave them. waxing them is the best, and the results last up to 4-8 weeks! go to walmart or target or something and look in the beauty section where the razors and stuff are and you should be able to find the right waxing strips. good luck and hope i helped!

try getting them lasered. it is long term reduction and it makes the hairs lighter in colour and thinner. it may sting for a few seconds but that is it. it costs a bit of money but trust me, it is worth it

Waxing hurts..real bad. :[
So, you should go to like WalGreens and go to their waxing products and look for the bleaching kits. Not the kind of bleach you buy for the hair on your head, but the kind made for your body. Its only a few bucks, and its painless and makes the hair practically invisable :]

Getting them waxed at a salon would keep them smooth and hairless for longer, but Nair works just as well. It just doesn't last as long.
