Ever since my bf moved to another state for a job I feel as though a weight has been lifted. I think he was upset with me because the last time we talked over the phone before he moved I sounded so happy. Part of the reason for my happiness is that I had just started a new job with a really cool company after years of unemployment and dissatisfaction. Well my self esteem and confidence has totally gone up and when I told my bf how happy I was with things he didnt sound happy at all for me. I also think he was mad at me because he said he was thinking of stopping into the store before he left but I didnt sound to thrilled to see him. Well it's been a month since we've talked or emailed and you know what, I don't even miss him!!
My question is : Why do you think he was mad that I sounded so happy? Wouldnt he want me to be happy? And also I feel a little guilty for being glad that he is gone.

He wants to be missed. You don't miss him and he's mad that you don't. He's sad that the happy time of your life happens to be when he's not there. Talk to him, and if it doesn't work, then forget about this relationship.

ok so around the beginning of october this guy told me he liked me.. i sorta liked him and we were good friends but i still didnt know him too well.. ok so he asked me out on the 6th.. but i said no.. we kept talking and we ended up going out 3 times between them and now. we talked all the time and it was like i knew him better than any1 else EVER i had fun with him and i liked how he treated me..he seriosuly treated me the best!!!!..ok so i broke up with him 3 times.. and during those times we still acted liek we were going out, we just sorta took space, and eventually went out.. its kinda like i want what i cant have!! && i hate that!..i dont know but on monday i found out from my friend that he smoked that saturday [we broke up thursday] i was so mad.. he didnt even tell me and he also told me he stopped.. i 4gave him b.c we werent going out then and it wasnt toooo big of a deal but still.. the next day i find out he likes another girl.. now when we were going out he would always say i love you soooooo much blah blah and he really did, but he said the same thing to that girl! he lied to me alot these last few days.. he even said he wanted me and didnt like the girl anymore, then that night he came out and said it was a lie.. so now he doesnt like me or the other girl BUT a new girl [he went out with a couple months ago] theyre prob going to go out and i just dont know what to do and feel..this last week i coudlnt concnetrate at all at school and ive been so sad. now i know this sounds really stupid but there is so much more to our situation and so many more lies.. but now that he lieks this other girl def. i just idk i like him so much! i dont know what to do.. i think i might have loved him..please just tell me what im going through and what i do and how i get over it

I am a married man who a few months ago was asked to go to lunch by a female coworker. She's 23 and I am 36 and she has a boyfriend and if it means anything we are both considered very attractive. I initially didn't take her up on her offer, but then agreed after she asked me a few other times. We went to lunch and we talked about work and stuff and she paid. Well this is now a regular occurrence and she now brings up things besides work, like sex with her boyfriend and when and how they do it. She also just recently asked me to go play tennis with her after work. Needless to say, I think we're becoming close friends. I'm just not sure what her intentions are if any. What's even more confusing is that a bunch of us went out to the bar the other night and she didn't even talk to me, spending most of her time talking to another male coworker. I would think that if we were friends she's act normal around me and talk to me in an outside work setting. But it's almost like she was afraid something may happen. I guess my question to you is am I just a victim of different generations? Is it normal for a twenty something female to hang out with a coworker, talk about sex, ask him to do extracurricular activities, and not want to be with him on a more intimate level? I'm thinking I should nip this in the bud before we do something we both will regret. (link)

You can continue to talk to her and hang out as long as she doesn't start to talk about sex methods and tries to touch you or flirt with you. Just make sure your wife doesn't mind this. If she does forget about hanging out with her.

There's this girl at school that tries to stick to me like glue. We both get to school very early in the morning, and she comes every day to chat. Try being nice to her. Eventually her crush will go away and she won't talk to you as much, and if you talk to other girls too, she might not want to get in your way, so that may help too.

Do you SERIOUSLY expect him to call you after you broke up with him? He won't miss you because he's off getting high! How can you miss a guy who OBVIOUSLY doesn't care about you? Forget about this loser of an ex boyfriend and go make yourself look cute and find some guy 10 times hotter who cares about you. The only way to deal with missing someone you care about is to find someone else you care about MORE that cares about you back. Not some druggie jerk who doesn't do ANYTHING for you. No. You aren't. I remember when people went around with like 50 livestrongs on each arm. LITERALLY! I didn't even have the original yellow one. Eventually in the soon to be dying out days of the livestrong I got four new ones nobody knew about. People were either like "FINALLY" or "OMGOSH WHERE DID U GET THAT ONE???" but the thing was, nobody ever got the ones I had because the fad was dying and places stopped selling them and people started forgetting about them and getting bored with them, and regretting the money they spent on them. I know I regretted the 8 bucks I spent on them. The point is, YOU don't need to be swayed by what other people do as long as YOU are the person who lives in YOUr body. The main word is you. Not them. You.

I'm Pentecostal, which is pretty strict. It is (in my opinion) the most straight up Bible religion, because i've converted before.In some variations of the Pentacost religion, you cant cut your hair because samson never did, wear pants, or wear jewlery or makeup, but I'm not part of that, because it's never said to do that in the Bible. To be Pentecostal, you should attemt to read the whole Bible and follow it as best you can and not do anything it doesn't say, and you should trust in Him and believe in Him and be born again. Some can speak in tounges, wich is a language we cant understand but God can, and you learn to speak it by the Holy Spirit.
