If you remain good friends, you might want to think about visiting her in her new home. I've found you can still remain friends with someone as long as you keep in touch, but it has to be fairly often.

I'm sure you'll find someone new, you met her after your first friend move didn't you? Think of all the fun times you have. Schedule to call every weekend, write letters, IM technolgy makes it so easy to communicate to people weather it's around the corner or across the country. icey0990 answered Thursday December 8 2005, 4:14 pm: hey listen..i know how hard it is to have someone you care a lottt about move far away.its very touggh..i know i know..but this doesnt mean its the end! i know a girl who moved from ny to florida..and her 2 good friends still fly down to florida a couple times a year to spend time with her. between that, AIM/email, telephone, ..you will never ever lose her as a friend. things will be different..but people adjust to change. Change is something people of all ages must deal with for their whole lives. For now, live up the good times and enjoy all the time you have together..make photoalbums..take lots of pictures...spend time making memories. if she does move away..keep in touch and hopefully you can visit a few times a year. friends are forever remember that..even if she does move shes only a call away.

You say you have no other friends? Talk to people. Get to know them. Don't be shy, it'll never work if you're shy! Just walk up to people and be like "Hey, I'm ________, what's up?". Then go from there =)
But about your best friend, once she moves, you can DEFINATELY see her again. I'm sure your parents would understand. Either she could come back and visit every once in awhile, or you could go there. Call eachother, IM eachother. Keep in touch.
Friends DO grow apart, and it sucks. But it's a part of life. You'll meet new friends, She'll meet new friends, and you may stop talking to eachother completely. You just grow apart. I KNOW it hurts, but it's the truth. I hope it works out =/ If you want to talk, or just need a friend, don't hesitate, I'll be here :) [ yourperfectdisaster's advice column | Ask yourperfectdisaster A Question ]
