Hey ! I'm taking Christian Counseling in college and i need to write a paper on alcoholism how it affects the family from the smallest child to the middle child to the oldest and the mom and dad and neighbors and everything like what happens and what are words to describe it i have searched the internet but can't find anything ! Well my dad was an alcoholic and drug addict.. um it has affected me alot.. it still does today even tho he is sober.. um he has done so many things to me and my family.. like he has tried to committ suicide in front of me i dont know how many times,, when he was drunk and took me places when i was like 4,5,6 and 7 he would leave me for hours at a time and not know where i was.. also he would beat my mom..*he never beat or hit me tho* um also i have seen so much my mom went through with him.. im 16 years old now and not once has he ever said sorry for any of that.. and it has tore me inside also knowing he could go to rehab after my mom left him but couldnt do it for us when my mom was still married to him.. and he also took me on a drug deal when i was 5 and my dad didnt pay the guy and the guy put a gun to my head and his if he didnt pay him.. my dad has kisnapped me from my mom.. and then lost me in a store.. he lied to me so much in my life bout things he promised and things he was gon do for me but they never got done.. um i hope i helped you some what..much luv dez and i dont know ay websites..

Well i can relate to this.. okay over the summer i had a boyfriend and liked him alot but then there was this other guy *my bf now* well i was so comfort by him and loved talkin to him all the time and not my boyfriend and couldnt stop thinkin bout him and i felt really bad but i got to the point where i didnt care anymore an then i dumped him to go with *my bf now* me and him have held good for 8 months now.. and the other guy is still a good friend of mine.. so maybe you could see whats up with the guy you cant get off your mind and see if he wants more then kissing and holding hands but maybe find that out soon too,, and also if he does and you rather be with him then the guy your with then go for it cause it really sounds like you and this other guy like eachother way more then you like the boy you go with now.. but like i said talk to him and see..much luv dez

Well, see I was at my friend's house and I didn't like my boyfriend at the time so i broke up with him with my friend. I was happy and stuff. But as soon as I broke up with him i felt really bad because I didn't only brake up with him I was mean and rude to him. The next day I talked to him and he said he stayed up the whole night crying and he was praying that I would come back to him. I did go back to him because I relized I did like him and it just took awhile to relize it. So now we are going out again and things are better then ever. Except, I told my best friend and she said alot of things like she said that why did you brake up with him if you didn't like him. I said I didn't like him at the time and it just took me awhile to relize it. Also she said alot of guys like me because I am "Hott" but she said by the way you aren't. That got me mad 1 because not all the guys like me because I am "Hott" they like me for other reason also. And 2 because how could by best friend say that to me that I am not pretty. I was mad and I don't know why she said that. What should I do? She also said alot more and she wasn't to happy. I think she is mad at me now and I don't know what to do?? Help!
