advice

i'd like people's opinions- do you believe that it's possible for two teenagers to fall in love? i'm 16/f and he's 17/m. this is our relationship in (very small) nutshell:

we talk about everything. we care about each other to the deepest, most loving extent possible. i don't see other guys [friends, random guys] in the same way i used to. neither of us would ever do anything to hurt the other [emotionally & physically, for that matter.] and anytime either of us even suspects something is wrong [which has only happened twice], we bring it up and talk through it. he makes me genuinely happy- the happiest i've ever been in my life. i'm constantly in a state of bliss when i'm with him, no matter what we're doing or what's going on. we've been dating a year and almost seven months. i can honestly see marrying him and spending the rest of my life with him. no words can describe how much i love him.

i'm sure i'm forgetting other things. but anyway- in love? or just a "teenage love"? [in your opinion. of course, my opinion is the former, haha.] thanks in advance (:

Its all subjective, really.
Generally speaking, I don't think love can exist between two minors. However, there are exceptions to a lot of rules, so I don't doubt that this could be an exception. I mean if you feel that you have a strong emotional connection with him beyond any connection with any other guy you've been with or known, then I guess you could say that you love him.

And since you only gave your relationship in a nutshell, that means only you and him know everything about it.

So what I'm trying to say is that yes, there is a possibility that you love each other, but its really your responsibility to decide that =]

what do guys look for in girls?
(looks, personality, etc.)

It all depends on the guy.
Personally- I go for personality over looks.
If a girl is outgoing, nice, caring, smart, funny, and amazing (haha.. vague word, I know)...
If a girl is boring, mean, bitchy, etc., I probably won't be talking to her and flirting with her.
If you want to impress a guy, honestly just be yourself.. no matter how cliche that sounds...

ill call him M. M and I have been friends scince we were 8 (he's 15 im almost 15), lately we have become alot closer. On Thursday he and i went to The Messangers together and with some of our freinds. He let me hold on to him during the movie (i was freaked out) and scince that day he and i have been having extremly long aim conversations (like 2 hours a couple times a day). And so now i am wayy confused and could use a guys take on this.

Well- if he let you hold him- sign #1 he likes you.
Extremely long AIM conversations don't happen much- its usually just consist of "hey", "hey", "sup", "nmu", "nm".. so that probably means something, Erin.

I think its safe to say that he likes you as more than a friend. If more signs come into play, I think it would be even safer to say that.

i like a guy, and i know he likes me back.

he said he wants to hang out..but since we both like each other, how is that any different from a date? is it a date?

A date= a girlfriend and boyfriend going out to dinner, seeing a movie, etc.
Hanging out= two or more friends getting together to do something fun.

My guess is that he said "hang out" so as not to scare you away by saying "Hey! Wanna go on a date with me?" I'm pretty sure he'll consider it a date, since you both like each other.

Just make sure to have fun!

If you have the picture from a website, you need to get the link from the website you got it from. Click on the picture, so that it is in a window by itself. Copy that link into the box on http://tinypic.com and it will give you a code that you can copy into your blog.

why does it matter which college you go to?

It matters to employers because it shows them if you went to a college that teaches what you'll be doing in the career or job. If someone is pressuring you to go to a prestegious college, go where you want to go- and go to a college that has good classes for what you want to be when you're older.
Its your choice.

If you are young enough to not know what this means, then you probably shouldn't be hearing it at school- which isn't your fault.

I would like to help you though.

An orgy is when a person reaches a sexual climax during sex. For guys- when they have an orgy, sperm usually comes out.

Next time, please look it up on www.google.com, ask your parents, or ask a friend who won't think you're immature or whatever. Please don't take time to ask us, and wait three hours to get a response. You'll get a quicker answer by google-ing it or going to www.dictionary.com/reference and type in the word you would like defined.

When does Mardi Gras start and end?

Mardi Gras Day falls on Tuesday, February 20, 2007.
That is the actual day, on which Mardi Gras ends and it starts about two weeks before, so it started around the 6th of February.

Ok soo I really want to know what is the best acne wash.I dont have bad acne just mild. I tried Pro-Activ and it worked alright but not well. Everything else I tried really hasnt worked well on my skin. If you know of any good face washes or like cleansers let me know please.

Honestly.. I know how weird this is going to sound.. but I can definitely say it works.
The solution I'm speaking of: LEMON JUICE

yes.. I know.. but what you need to do is apply it to your face with a cotton ball or Q-tip and only to the areas where acne exists. Don't wash off the Lemon Juice, and don't touch your face after applying.
Its best to apply it just before bed, so you don't feel the urge to scratch your face or whatever conscientiously.

Most families have a bottle of Lemon Juice in their fridge, and if you don't- its fairly cheap.

dont all of you columnists HATE when you give a great answer to a question and they dont rate you? i do. or if they rate you a 3 because you tell them something they dont want to hear, but it's still good info!!!! ya that bothers me.

A three isn't a bad rating. Besides, when you give advice, it should be about the good feeling you get. I don't answer questions to get good ratings. In the end that doesn't matter. I only answer questions because I feel like I need to in order to feel good for that day. Even getting a 3 or above should be a blessing.

And yes, it does suck.

I know that I trust my boyfriend and I know that he would never cheat on me because he honestly loves me and it's a mutual feeling, but he's been talking to this girl that he said he met about a year ago and she lives about an hour away from where him and i live, but when he visits his dad he visits her, and she is suposidly one of his best friends, but for some reason whenever i'm hanging around with him and a girl calls h sits there and texts her or talks to her, and it bugs me alot, and i said something once and he said that he would never cheat on me, but for some reason i'm still scared that something will happen. I'm also upset because I was looking at this girls MySpace and it had some comments on there from like almost a year ago him saying on her pictures stuff like "Or you're so sexy.." and stuff like that but he posted those things before him and i started dating, but it bugs me that they are still there and i tried telling him i didn't like it and asked him to delete it but he told me that i shouldn't worry about it and it shouldn't be a problem but for some reason i still don't like it, and he talks about his ex's alot and it bugs me alot and i told him and he said that i had nothing to worry about and i shouldn't worry about, but i really love him but it bugs me so much and i try to ignore it but i can't and whenever i try to talk about it with him he gets pissy and moody and says that i'm not listening to my heart and i'm only thinking about his past.

I'm sorry that this is so long but i needed to get it out. Thank you so much.

The same thing happened to me. My ex-girlfriend was nagging (in the nicest way possible) me about how I was talking to this girl that she didn't like. I've known this girl for years and years, but to avoid conflict, I said I wouldn't talk to her.
To tell you the truth, I don't believe that you should feel worried; he's told you numerous times not to feel worried, so you shouldn't, and you owe that to him as his girlfriend. If he doesn't want to take down the comments, which mean absolutely nothing to him, then it shouldn't matter much to you. It is just myspace after all. What really matters is how you connect in person, but as you say, he does text other people. This, frankly, is rude, but you shouldn't be mad at him. He's just nervous, like any real boyfriend would be, around you, and might not have much to say in fear of embarrassment.

All in all, I think you should not be so worried about his past. Its whats in the present that counts.

Now I'm sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear, but I'm just trying to tell you the truth about how I feel about it. I really hope the best for you and your boyfriend.

So this girl, joanne, insulted me on facebook. Me and him were talking to eachother, and she posted, "ew why are you talking to her?" and some more things to make me seem terrible, on his wall. I was really upset, because she said some pretty bad things about me, and i was afraid that he'd think differently about me(theyre kind of friends, and i dont know him thatttt well). but then he posted on my wall, "ummm joannes really weird" and i said, "haha whatever." and then he said "but don't worry i don't like her at all."

"theyre kind of friends", yet he says "'but don't worry i don't like her at all'"

Maybe this guy is trying to make you feel better because he's torn between you two. He wants to be friends with you, but he's friends with Joanne, who doesn't like you. I'm not so sure that he likes you as you may think- maybe just as a friend, because all he said was something to make you feel better.

It seems to me that Joanne is a loser and you need not listen to her discouraging words. She, like most teenagers, needs a scapegoat, or another person to exert their problems on, so that she doesn't have to face them herself. So basically she is probably using her crappy life and blaming it on you, and making your life feel like crap so that she can get sick pleasure out of it. In other words, IGNORE HER.

i just got a new boy friend(he asked me out today...) and before he asked me out we were really good friends and we would say hi and stuff.....
but anyway, so he asked me out today and i said yes but now it's like really awkward to talk. it's like we don't really no what to talk about.

This is just normal. Its okay to just act like you did as friends, just maybe a little more intimate. Talk about how you day was, your weekend plans, or just anything really that pops into your head. Don't feel afraid to embarrass yourself in front of your new boyfriend, because your boyfriend can also be your best friend. Be yourself and if he doesn't like that, that's a mistake on his part. And if he's a little shy around you, don't feel like it has to end. He's probably just feeling the same as you.
