So this girl, joanne, insulted me on facebook. Me and him were talking to eachother, and she posted, "ew why are you talking to her?" and some more things to make me seem terrible, on his wall. I was really upset, because she said some pretty bad things about me, and i was afraid that he'd think differently about me(theyre kind of friends, and i dont know him thatttt well). but then he posted on my wall, "ummm joannes really weird" and i said, "haha whatever." and then he said "but don't worry i don't like her at all."

Maybe this guy is trying to make you feel better because he's torn between you two. He wants to be friends with you, but he's friends with Joanne, who doesn't like you. I'm not so sure that he likes you as you may think- maybe just as a friend, because all he said was something to make you feel better.
It seems to me that Joanne is a loser and you need not listen to her discouraging words. She, like most teenagers, needs a scapegoat, or another person to exert their problems on, so that she doesn't have to face them herself. So basically she is probably using her crappy life and blaming it on you, and making your life feel like crap so that she can get sick pleasure out of it. In other words, IGNORE HER.
