college why does it matter which college you go to?
[ ] Want to answer more questions in the Work & School category? Maybe give some free advice about: Colleges & Universities?
There are a lot of reasons. People go to certain colleges because they want to major or specialize in a certain thing and they usually choose the school that they do because their program is known for being really good...something like that. Also tuition costs, geographical location, etc. are important things to consider when choosing a college. ]
It matters to employers because it shows them if you went to a college that teaches what you'll be doing in the career or job. If someone is pressuring you to go to a prestegious college, go where you want to go- and go to a college that has good classes for what you want to be when you're older.
Its your choice.
Hope I helped

There is no one college that teaches everything. Different colleges teach different subjects, and you should go to one that teaches what you want to know. That said, there are certainly better colleges than others. When employers look at your credentials, they see what college you've gone to, and put a lot of judgment based on that. ]
The only person it should matter to is you. It's your education. Go to where you think you will get the best knowledge of the path you want to take in this life. ]
