My name is Melissa. I'm a sophomore, and finally SWEET 16. So, I'll be driving on January 7th. I usually go by May or Mel. In the picture is myself and my AMAZING boyfriend Kyle. He's truly my entire world & I'm not sure how I got lucky enough to get someone like him. I don't like girls. They're fake, and I just in general dislike most girls. Little known fact? There are times I hate my best friend, I mean, hate hate. She drives me insane. When I'm close friends with a girl it's a big deal. As far as best friends go; I have Kyle, who's the most amazing boyfriend in the world; Jennifer Anne Reese aka: PIECUP.. she's one of the few girls I'm close to. I'm generally a nice person, if I like you. If I don't, you'll know it.

In college I want to major in psychology; with a minor in wedding planning or some type of organizational planning type thing. I'm a planning freak. I ALWAYS have a plan, and if you don't plan stuff ahead of time, I'll probably kill you. I tend to change my plan spur of the moment a lot, but I always have one. Lol, one of those weird things about me.


I'm not that much of a "laid back" person. In general, I have my opinion, and I'm going to win. Drama = stupid. But just like every other girl on the planet, I definitely start my share of the drama. I don't like it, but it follows me like a puppy, so I'll just admit I start stuff.

i have a lot of guy friends and less girl freinds and its been like that for like my whole life and im like not the tomboy type and im like girly as everyone saya. i have girl freinds like a lot but i have more guys. what does taht mean? sometimes i think taht girls dont liek me cuz im like too boyish but everyone says im not? then wat does that mean?

Girls are bitches. Lol it's that simple. Guys are more laid back and easier to get along with because they don't feel the need to cat fight and make everything a huge drama. Eventually you'll have a lot of really close guy friends and a few select best girl friends, if you don't, that's okay because, GIRLS ARE BITCHES.

i was wondering if anyone knew how to cut pants into skirts. because i have like 3 pairs of pants that fit in the waist but dont fit in the legs. so if anyone could help i rate high!

If you're good with sewing then you should be able to do it. Cut the jeans up to around your thighs then cut the inside leg part out of the jeans. Then sew down the middle, [front & back] and make some kind of design so that it's less visible. Good luck!

I have natural wavy hair. Most of the time I straighten it but I really want to style it like Jessica Simpsons or Mary-Kate and Ashelys. - They have light curls that are not to big or drastic. Everytime I try to use my curling iron to get that look I get this big crease at the top. I was wondering if you knew how to do this and if so if theres any specific products to use? Thanks !! =D

Try getting a larger curling iron [2.5 or 3 inches] and do spirals then pull them apart. That should give you big waves, and a few spirals. Any kind of curling serum should work well. [= Good luck! If you have any other questions, leave another one in my inbox.

If he says you aren't annoying don't worry about it. If you still think you're being annoying, then back off a little.

I have long straight hair and I part it on the side and I want to get sweeping bangs. I want them short enough to be able to leave them out when I put the rest of my hair up.. but I don't want them to get in my eyes and be annoying. So how long should they be?

Try to go to your mid-cheekbone. That's how long mine are and they aren't in your eyes, but they don't look ridiculous when you leave them down. [=

Hey, I'm almost 16 and I'm still afraid of the dark, so don't feel bad. Lol. Anyways, there's really no cure to that, just try going to sleep. Or do things that you know will make you tired. Sorry that wasn't much help!

my friend hooked up with this guy for the first time yesterday...he walked out of the room laughing 5 minutes after they went in and she locked herself in the bathroom...according to the guy...she didnt know how to french so he left her...is there anything i can tell her to make her feel better or any pointes i can give her...ive tried everything, but shes still devistated and i would like to know if theres anything else i can do....thanks!!!

The guys a jerk if he would do that! Not only is that mean, but that's embarassing, and it hurt her feelings. Talk to him and get him to apologize. Other than that, give her some pointers, but there's really not much more that you can do. Give her time to get over it then find her a new and NICER guy!

I met this guy on the internet and he's coming to pick me up in an hour or so. EVerything seems all right and my intuition tells me its a go but everyone always says to be careful so I thought I'd ask. Don't be too hasty to answer cuz I'm really for going.

Take a friend with you and make sure you have cell phones with you. You need to be as careful as possible. Meeting people online and then in person is never smart, but it's expecially stupid to go alone or without a phone. Let your parents or other friends know where you're going, and have a friend call and check up on you. Make some kind of sign like a code word, or if you don't answer, then have them call and tell your parents. BE CAREFUL.

Okay so my mom will not let me get new furniture for my room or do anything that is major so is there any way like that i can decorate my room but not like major redecorating like hanging pictures up and stuff?

Try getting pictures of friends, family stuff like that and taping them up. Some other things would be stuff from magazines, cd covers, posters. Get words [or pictures] out of magazines and make collages then hang them on the wall. Just find a lot of colorful things and it will make the room brighter and look newer. Just remember, don't get TOO many things, it may begin looking TOO busy. Good luck!

There's ALWAYS a chance of pregnancy. Even if you do use a condom. [Which you didn't.] I suggest you go to Planned Parenthood and get the Day After pill. It's effective up to 72 hours after. Take that, and then take a pregnancy test.

Applesauce is a program for AIM that allows you to bypass the standard colors and create your own. It's actually a REALLY good program for colors. I HIGHLY recommend that you try it.

ok so i have a problem in april i moved out of my moms to move with my dad cause my stepdad is a total jerk. well my dad was drivin me to school everyday because he lives in a different district. but this year he said if i stay hear i will have to switch schools but i dont want to do that cause i have switched schools so many times! so i said i would just move back in with my mom but everytime im at my moms im always fighting with her or my stepdad or his kids. i dont know want to do i want to stay with my dad but i want to stay at the same school!!! so anyone has advice plz help me will rate high!

There's really not much that you can do in this situation. Unless you're close to 16 & a driver's license there isn't much you can do since your parents pay for your schooling. If you are going to be able to drive soon, then ask him to please continue driving you until then. If not, you need to decide how bad you want to live with your father, because you can't keep asking him to continue driving you. Maybe try paying for gas. If he has time to take you, then you would be helping out a lot by offering him $10-15 dollars a week to drive you back & forth.

ok so i finally got the courage to tell a guy friend of mine that i really him, and it took me forever! He told me that it was good news to hear, and then he's been gone at camp to help little kids and everything... it was all pretty new to us to tell eachother how we felt. And he and my friend just broke up (she cheated on him) and so they're not even friends anymore.. i was jw how to keep him intrested when he comes back? I want him to know i'm still kinda crazy about him.. but i don't know where to start.. and i don't wanna come off psycho! please help! thanks!

I'm 29 and I've been dating a 27 yo girl for about 8 months now and I thought things were going great. However, recently she planned her holiday season (thanksgiving and christmas) without even asking me what I was doing. Her rationale was that couples only plan things together when they are engaged or married. She tells me she loves me and doesn't understand why I was surprised that she made all her plans (which exclude me) without even talking to me about what she wanted to do. I have no intention of trying to change her plans. I just thought it was common courtesy to discuss it first and hopefully find a way to spend the holidays together. Your thoughts?

I agree. If you want to be involved, tell her so. If you guys have been together for that long, then you should be together at some point during the holidays. Talk to her.

Just tell him that you aren't ready. If he ACTUALLY likes you, then whether or not you're ready for sex shouldn't change anything.
