For most people, it's nothing like cutting. It's a way to release nervous tension. It's much more like biting your nails. I used to do the same thing (now I have a line of scars on my lip). I've stopped, but now I play with my tongue ring almost constantly.

Im a fifteen-year-old female and I use the finishing touch on my mustache, but it doesnt cut the hair close enough,and it grows back really fast the next day, i dont wanna shave and im allergic to nair and other depilatories. My sister is making an appointment for me to get birth control pills and she says they have to give me an exam and look at my vagina and put something inside of it but someone told me they dont need to do that unless ive ever been sexually active or if ive ever had sex. Do they have to do an exam?? (ive never been sexually active in any way)! If they have to give me an exam someone please tell me what tehy do?? Im freaking out! If you've never had sex or used a tampon, they won't give you a PAP smear (which is what your sister was talking about when she said they "put something inside." They may not give you an exam at all, because they don't like to break the hymen.
If they do an exam, don't feel too bad about the doctor seeing you. Remember, this is what they do all day, every day.
If you get an exam, they'll normally smush on your breasts to make sure everything is normal. They use a device that looks like two spoons facing each other a little ways inside your vagina to give themselves some more room to work. Then they use what looks like a long Q-tip to get a PAP smear. That part feels a little crampy. After they remove the "spoons," they use one or two fingers to feel inside your vagina, while they press on your stomach with their other hand. They are simply checking to make sure everything is normal. And that should be the end of it!

My boyfriend and I had intercourse two Saturdays ago. I'm due to get my period the begining of next week. Normally, by now I'd be showing my normal signs of PMS such as lower back ache, tender breasts, bloating, excessive eating, and cramping. The only thing that I'm getting is slight lower back pains, slightly tender breasts (but hardly), and the excessive eating. We did use protection, but as you may know, condoms are not 100%. When I got pregnant I showed no signs of PMS before my period, like I usually would. While it is very unlikely that you are pregnant, it is possible. Pregnancy tests tell you the soonest that you can get an accurate result, I think that it's a few days after you miss your period. If everything seemed normal about the condom after sex, and the condom wasn't old, and wasn't kept in a hot place (like a pocket or a car), you should be fine.

My mom has a yeast infection, a very severe one ((yeah,,ew)), and we cant afford medicine, and since my dad got laid off we dont have insurance and theres no way we can afford anything over like 20 dollars..believe it or not, so please dont tell me to buy anything more than that amount. well earlier i got in a fight with somone.they didnt like me beccuz im somewhat an uncool person. and i was in their seat becuz i was hanging out with that persons friends. well he took it real personal and sed he owuld beat me up if i didnt move.i didnt like that and i told him go away. but he didnt.
they then slapped me across the face but i did nothing.mainly becuz i know many martial art forms.and am a black belt in 3 of them.
i tried to avoid the fight and i moved cussing him out while doing it.but he hit me again and threw his hands around my neck choking me.i quickly got out of it and flipped him flat on his ass.
he went to throw another puch at me and i grabbed his arm twisting it and throwing him to the ground and putting him in a submission. i told him to please back down i did not want to hurt him( i only flipped him doing minor damage.i didnt want to hurt him).
he refused to be made a tool. i lauged at his arrogance and began toying with him. he went throw a punch at me and i flipped him again straight onto the gournd but he wouldnt take the hint he oculdnt get me.
he quickly grabbed a chair(the only reason the fight wasnt stoppped is because the teacher was leaving to pick up her sick son and calling in a sub who would ocme shortly).
he trhew the chair at me which i didnt block due to the force of it and it hit my leg. i got mad and when he came to me. i dropped my guard to see the damage he did to my leg. he grabbed my arm and put it behind my bak and pushedup really ahrd. so i elbowed him and made his nose bleed.i was very made now, so when he threw the punch.this time i didnt throw him to the ground, i twisted his arm upwards and then broke it and flipped him to the groudn.
he got back up and started screaming.he went kick me nearly hitting me..i grabbed his leg and moved into his stomach and punched him right in the stomahc, knocking him to the ground again and knocking the wind out of him.i then again asked him to please give up.
he got a pen and trid using it like a knife against me. when he went to hit me with his good arm(the right one.the only one functional now) i quickly inverted it and broke that too.
now im in deep trouble and might get sued. im also probably going to get taken out of school and i severely regret disabling this kid.
did i do something wrong by hurting him so, when he was a threat to my life at certain pionts? hes arragant because he 'supposedly' according to all the talk right before as they were telling me to move said 'he never lost a fight' and he frequently gets in them from what ive seen. he also tried chocking me, breaking my leg, throwing a chair at me, and tried to give me a deep wound with a pen.
i feel sorry for waht i did to him and ifeel by disabling him, i make a wrong choice.

If you can get other people to support you, and agree with you that it was self-defense, you should be okay. I think that you were right. Try not to tell anyone if you acted out of anger; that you were truly defending your person. You should be fine.

There's this guy I kind of like. I got to know him this year, and he's been pretty nice. We've had our ups and downs, however. For example, he started ignoring me a couple of months ago for no reason whatsoever. Yesterday, he started being nice again though, and he emailed me. Well today I got another email from him, in which he asked me out to prom. The thing is, he's asked out around 4 or 5 other girls, who are going with other people or by themselves. I know that age is just a number, but I think when someone is as young as you, it's a pretty important number. Consider where you are both going in your lives. See if your life plans really work out together. Consider school, work, owning a home, having children, and anything else you can think of. Sit down with him and really talk about where you are both going in life. If everything works out, and you are both truly happy then stick with it.
I would be slightly suspicious of him living with another girl. I've never known a guy that can live with a girl (especially one he's had a relationship with) and truly stay faithful to the girl he's with. However, your guy might be different.

Be careful about making any "father" commitments too quickly. Take the rest of her pregnancy deciding what you really want to do. However, if you are a loving father, it won't really matter that you're not the biological father. Be prepared to deal with the biological father, since he does have rights to the baby, and he can choose to enforce those rights any time from birth sometimes until the child's 18th birthday.
As far as looking after a small child, I got a good tip from my mom. Read everything you can about parenting, then forget it. Educate yourself and then play it by ear. It can work. I had a baby before I married my husband, and he is an excellent, wonderful father, and the baby loves him.

first off im a really good christian.. i love going to church and worshiping and stuff. i love sharing my faith with people. Im baptist raised. Im 14 years old and im a male.

I'm not a Christian any more, but I was a Baptist until I was 16. I don't remember anywhere in the Bible where it says "Gays go to hell." I do believe that the Bible calls homosexuality a sin, though. Find as many supportive people as you can. I have always found that pastors are great help in situations like these. It's possible that it's just a phase that you have to work through.
I appreciate your situation, and I would never tell anyone to change their beliefs. However, as a side note, if you want someone to be supportive of your beliefs and situation, saying things like "no matter how right you think you are, you're wrong" is rude and closed minded.
