I'm a really good singer. All of my friends have said so, and are threatening to take me too American Idol when I'm 16. And I love to sing. But when I go to do it in front of some people I get really nervous and choke up. Any suggestions on how to get rid of my nervous-ness??

Hey, the hair on my arms is kinda dark and I'm very self concious about it. I wanna bleach it blonde and I was wondering what stores you can get easy to use bleach that isn't very expensive. Thanks, and I rate 5's!

I wouldn't suggest bleaching your arm hair, because it'll be really unnatural. Wax, use Nair, or use Sun-In. Hope I helped. Kristen

ok, well i have started cutting because of problems i have at home, well now i started to do it for fun, and i dont know why i like to do it, but i do. and its not for attention because know one knows i do it. well anyways, i get urges to do it even when there are no probems at home. i dont know whats wrong with me, i mean i know its wrong and i shouldnt be doing it, but i just love to hurt myself. i need some advice, weather its what i can do to stop, or if you know why i like to do it for fun. plz help

Cutting isn't going to help you. You need to get help. Talk to a guidance counselor at school, tell someone who you trust, or go visit a counselor. Pfff.. I just realised how BORING my life is!!! I wake up at six, go to school, come back at 4, do homework, go on the computer, sleep. What a nice life eh??? NOT!! its just soooo boring! i have nothing better to do. Any ideas?

I was in class one day and a guy who is pretty shy and a computer genius calls my name a few times so that i'll pass him something, but i didn't answer coz his voice was pretty soft and i wasn't sure if i was dreaming or something. After calling my name a 3 times, he suddenly blurted out my name again, plus the word 'darling', then started laughing nervously. Before that, whenever i bumped into him after class, he'll either frown or act as if he doesn't know me. But lately while he was with a group of friends, he suddenly waved at me and smiled when he saw me, but later on that same day when he bumped into me (he was alone then), i gave him a shy smile and waved, but he just pretended not to see me and frowned, i was surprised, so i stared at him for a while,but he looked away and acted as if he was irritated. What do you think is the matter with him? Sometimes he's nice towards me, other times he's completely mysterious and aloof, although lately he is friendlier towards me. Some of my friends said that it was because I'm the smartest student in class and would usually get awards for doing well academically, and some guys like him might get intimidated and dislike girls who are smarter than them. Is this true? The problem is, i think i have a crush on him. Do guys hate it if girls are smarter than them, especially egoistical guys like him?

It think it depends on the guy. Some might like it, some might not. Just try and ask him a few questions to see how he feels. If he doesn't like people who are smarter than him, then he's not worth it. You are who you are, and you should never have to change something about you just for a guy to like you. I have this friend that has a cancer but I dont know wut kind and he was doing really well untill the day of my uncles b_day.
We got a call on the phone that said he wasnt doing to well and that they gave him some medicine that they usually give people who are about to die.
I am so worried wut if he dies and we will never be able to see him again.
He is only 17 years old

In choir I've noticed this guy staring at me for awhile. In Spanish he fools around and I think he tries to get my attention. When I'm at my locker he waits for the kid next to me and I can sense he's looking at me. He also catches my eye in the hall. Well today in my locker I noticed something on the top shelf. It was a small piece of paper that only said i love you. It was written sloppily like a boy's handwriting. I'm hoping maybe he wrote it. I never talk to him but I really want to. Any ideas on how to do so....because I'm really shy. :-/

Hi,
I was just putting in some new clean bedding for my rabbit and I reached into the hay bag and a very sharp bit of hay got stuck in my hand, about 3mm in. I pulled it out and it bled. I've washed it and put a plaster on but I was wondering if I can catch any kind of infection from that? It's clean hay and I've had my tetanus jab. Should I put antiseptic cream on? And now or when it's healed a little?

dear advice givers,

my life is falling apart. the big thing happening right now though is my friends hating me. usually i can give myself advice but this is one of the worst situations ive been in. ok let me start from the beginning...

yesterday my cousin came over. i love her so much so i was cheering about to rip my homework into confetti. so anyway, she saw that i was holding school pictures so she phyced. she asked if she could see them so i said, sure, why not? she grabbed the pictures and pointed to people saying, "geek, know-it-all, freak, annoying, popular, a cross between popular and pretty, stupid," and so on. i thought that was amazing because she was right except for a few people where she called them a geek and really they weren't. well i thought it was so cool that i couldn't keep it to myself, i wanted to tell my friends what she said! so i did near the end of the school day in my last class because i was deciding whether to tell them or not through the whole day. so my friends aren't happy with what they hear. only a few of them are because they were considered popular or pretty, or both. well the other people ended up thinking that -->I

Talk to your friends, don't just put up an away message. Say your sorry if they were offended, but you really didn't say any of those things. Try and get together to talk if it's possible.

You are who you are, and you should never have to change for a guy. He should like you for who you are. Besides, do you really want to go out with someone who's desperate for anyone to go out with him?? As I said before, he should genuinely like you.
Anyway, to get in shape for yourself, just walk, exercise, do crunches, and eat healthy.
