I was the same way last year, so my advise is to just maybe go outside when you have nothign else to do and play some sports with friends or something. You can also do some school activitys to take up time. Hope this helped!

Little_Miss_Cant_Be_Wrong answered Tuesday March 8 2005, 9:53 pm:
Hey! Don't worry, sometimes our schedules become habits and we end up just walking through the same thing everyday. Fortunately, it is easy to change this if you find something to do that i fun for you. Make a list of things you have always wanted to do, learn, or try. After school and homework, pick one of those things and try it! Are all your friends sitting at home after school as well? Get them all together and do something. Maybe once a week get together and cook dinner as a group. You can spend some fun time together and learn some new recipes. Or, get together at friends houses to watch your favorite TV shows instead of watching them at home by yourself. Just don't let yourself fall into a routine. Switch something up everyday, whether its doing Tae-Bo in your living room when you get up in the morning, or trying out for the school play...just do something different! The key is not letting yourself sit around, make yourself busy. A great way to do this is volunteer for something. Try volunteering at your local animal shelter once a week, or go to www.cancer.org to find out how you can volunteer for the American Cancer Society. Also, sign up for a class that is a couple days a week, like maybe an art class. Well, I hope that helped. If you want any more ideas, or want to tell me your interests or age and gender, I could give you some more relevant suggestions. Just leave it in my inbox if you want, I know plenty of ways to keep busy!! :-) Good luck!

Well, that sounds kinda exciting to me. You could always do what I do: wake up, go to work, come home, go to sleep. Yeap.

Anyway, if you want something to do, use the resources you have (ie: your computer) and find something interesting to do your hometown. And if money is an issue, then save up whatever money you can get for weekend activities. You could even pull off cheapo trips, like packing some sandwiches and going to the beach (I love living in SoCAL) or a shindig/picnic with your friends.

Cheers!

Karen answered Tuesday March 8 2005, 3:39 pm:
If you know how to play softball or do track, sign up for an after school sport or any other after school activities. Sign up for a dance class or learn how to play an instrument. I used to take ceramic classes a few years ago and it made me life not so boring.

solomons_understudy answered Tuesday March 8 2005, 10:29 am:
Anyone's life can become tedious and boring at times, especially when you are going to school. But someday, you'll be going to a job and you'll get bored with it at times, too. Even if you end up with a "good" marriage, it can be boring also. The best defense against boredom is to look outside of yourself, outside of your little boring world, and reach out to help or encourage someone else. Look for things that you can do to help someone else, whether it be tutoring a young person or reading to an old person. The less you focus on your life and your feelings, the more enriching and exciting your life will become.

TeenageCupid answered Tuesday March 8 2005, 10:08 am:
Well, I think you and your friends should go to the movies on Fridays. During school days, instead of going on the computer, go to a dancing club. I dont mean disco, I mean go take dancing classes for example. If you like reading, join or even start a book club. If you dont want to be around a lot of people, just grab a book or CD player and hit the nearest hangout! Who knows? maybe when a guy sees a pretty girl sitting by herself, he'd join her And if you're a guy, its the girl who might join you. My guyfriend met his gf at burger king!

Try learning how to play a musical instrument. Or anything else you might be interested in. A martial art, fine arts, etc. It might be fun to get someone else to do the same for various reasons.
