Clingy Is there a nice way to say "you're clingy and I need space." I really like this person, but I would like a little breathing room. Is there anyway to say without making them all defensive and stuff.

I would say something along the lines of (and I have said this before): You know, (name), I really love you tons but I dunno, lets not sit together for this class (or at lunch today, or let's not talk on the phone tonight) because I really value our friendship and I want to crave it! ]
Just tell them that you need some space and want to spend time with other friend at the same time

tell them in a nice sinceir way that you need a little bit more space and sum more privacy, but make sure they dont take it the wrong way. add to it like, we can hang out as much as we used to just not as often. then to make sure their not hurt make plans for like da weekend and that be the only one ova da weekend. this should give he/she the idea that you still like them but not so much that you are in eachothers faces all the time. i hope you get that space you've wanted. ]
Just say, i love you or somthing but i kind of need my space.. dont take it the wrong way i want to hang out but i also need space!
