Is there a nice way to say "you're clingy and I need space." I really like this person, but I would like a little breathing room. Is there anyway to say without making them all defensive and stuff.

FunkyHoMoSapien answered Tuesday March 8 2005, 11:04 am: tell them in a nice sinceir way that you need a little bit more space and sum more privacy, but make sure they dont take it the wrong way. add to it like, we can hang out as much as we used to just not as often. then to make sure their not hurt make plans for like da weekend and that be the only one ova da weekend. this should give he/she the idea that you still like them but not so much that you are in eachothers faces all the time. i hope you get that space you've wanted.
