theres this kid i want to hook up with.. hes my friends cousin.. we havnt met yet but we probably will soon.. the thing is hes skater/punk and im like prep... i dont know how we will be able to go out together with eachothers friends if were so different.. my guy friends would probably make fun of him.. and i dont want that.. i just hope he likes me for me..

If you like him, and if he likes you..what everyone around you thinks shouldn't matter. If you like eachother..you should be together..despite what other people think. Kay..just wanted to clear that part up.
AS for your worries about him maybe not liking you..I'm sure he'll give you a chance. If he doesn't then he's not worth it. If he doesn't like you for you it has nothing to do with the fact that he's skater/punk...it just means that he's a flat out asshole in general. If he doesn't give you a chance as friend at LEAST, then just forget about him. He may not want to date you but that doesnt mean hes a bad person, because for all you know he could still want to become friends with you ya know?..but yeah..sorry for the confusion.
To wrap it all up.. I'm sure he'll like you for you. It shouldn't matter what style you are..I mean if he sees you're a good person he may give you a chance. If he doesnt give you a chance at all as a person, then just drop him.

don't worry about what your friends think. if you like him then that is all that matters. if you are afraid of you guy friends making fun of him, explain to them that you really like him and you will be really upset if they make fun of him (then talk to their gf's and make them keep the bois under control... lol)

You shouldent care what your friends think. Just because hes a punk and your a prep doesnt mean you shouldent go out. Kinda like if someone was white, and their bf was black..it doesnt matter. If your friends have problems with it, then their not your true friends!!
