ok, well im in the same situation as you, its not your fault at all, you parents just found that their relationship wasnt working anymore, it has nothing to do with you. And with the whole thing about you not haveing a happy family, well some people dont have a mom or a dad or both. Just be happy that you have both, even though they dont live together.

my dad hits me. and i'm really afraid of him. when he comes home from work i stay in my room. but whenever i do something wrong. even when i get less than an A on a test he'll hit me and say i'm not living up to my potential. i don't know what to do. He hits my mom to and i get badly bruised from the battles. what can i do? who can i go to? and is there anyway possible that i can get out of my house and be adopted or something? help me Please. you really need help. well my advice is to go to a guidence councler at you school, or talk to a teacher that you can trust to do something to help you, or even talk to a friend that can help you get away from him

tons of people have those kinds of relationships, just go with it, if you two like eachother, then absolutly go for it. dont care what your friends think, if their you real friends, then they will understand you like him, and not care

we dated about 7 months ago for a month about and it ended because i guess he just lost interest in it.
we never saw eachother over the summer after he persued me last year and after we got together a bit this year and it didnt work, we developed an amazing friendship. i'm the girl who his family loves (hes told me how much his parents "adore" me haha) and i'm the only girl who spends time with him and his family like at movies or something.
he's gone through the typical 16 year old guy phase of wanting to date everything and anything with a skirt on this year after things didnt work between us....which is fine, i understand it. now i'm becoming good friends with his best friend who he thinks i should give it a try with as a relationship because "he deserves a girl like me"...i may like the guy a bit but i dont want to act on it. as for my guy-hes going out with a girl i don't really like right now and hes admitted to his buds that he still kinda likes me (but its a secret i guess). i don't know what to do.
does it seem like we may have a chance in the future?

Well i think that you should go out with his best friend, give it a try, u said he was a great guy, so try it. you and your best friend might have a relationship in the future also, but for now he probably needs to try new people to make sure he really likes you.

See, my friend has been going out with this girl since october, I'm very good friends with her, and liked her a couple months before my friend and her started going out. Me and the girl have known eachother for atleast 4 years, I'm friends with her brother, whos younger than me, Lately my friend has become annoyed with The girl (whos also my friend) avoiding her phone calls, stuff like that. Lately the girl has been flirting with me on IM, sending me kissy faces, saying I'm her best bud, always trying to be beside me in public places when (my friend, her BF is not around) hugging on me in a playful non shalont way, etc. But then she'll say something like i wish My boyfriend was here, or something like that. Which is kool, because i would never go behind my friends back, shes just a friend. But she asks if i could do stuff with her would I? If my friend wouldn't find out. I tell her no, not unless she broke up with my friend, and still probably wouldn't cuz he might be hurt. Whats goin on with this chick? Is she liken me? or my friend...or both of us? This girl and i have been realy good freinds since the day we met(she was in 7th and I in 8th). last year we started liking eachother and then we ended up dating for like a week or two and then she ended up moving to a town 45 minutes away so we stopped dating. we sorta lost contact for a little but but then reconnected and picked up our friendship where it left off. well she then again moved all the way to texas(i live in california) and we lost contact all together for a while. Once again we reconnected and started talking more and soon she moved back to the town 45 minutes away from me. now that she lives there agian weve been talking almost every day on the phone or online and we even got to see eachother the other weekend for the first time since the summer. We both want to see eachother more and since the other weekend old feelings have arrisen and we both REALLY like eachother again(i havent stopped thinking about her since). we both want to date but the distance seems sumwhat of a setback since she doesnt drive because shes not old enough and i dont either because im busy to get my license. we both really care about eachother and want to be with eachother, and im there 100% to making the relationship work if she commits knowing that the distance will be a setback to seeing eachother regularly. should we try dating a see what happens? would a long( but realatively short) distance relationship between us work? i would greatly appreciate your help and advice. Hi, i am new to this place but i do have a question. I am a 20 yr old male.My girlfriend wants to be friends cause she does't have the time in her schedule. She doesn't call it breaking up. And i feel like huh? When did she first feel like this. And now i am doing my best to get her out of my head but i still like her very much but i don't want to talk to her about it cause shes tired of hearing it. So for now i have been staying away from her. Ever since then i have been in a depressed phase and i am cranky as hell, but i do not think she cares enough about me as i do her, cause it seems her life and career are more important than i am to her. it seems like shes over you, so you just have to see that, if shes thinking more about her career and her life than you, then theres a chance that there might be someone else you dont know about. or maybe she just doesnt feel about you the same. i think that you should just give her up.

I have just been placed in the custody of the state and am now living in a residential facility. I just got out of a mental institution that is only 20 mins away from my sister. I am now about 2 hours away. She had the opportunity to see me before I left but chose not to! I don't understand what I did! She visited me on several occasions there and I offered to help her in any way I possibly could. Its not my fault that my mom and I don't get along and she knew that. Should I just move on and leave everyone behind to try to start a new life or do I ask her what is wrong? (link)

I have music playing out of my PC and I have NO IDEA where it's coming from!! I'm not sure when it started because I left the PC while it was starting up. There's nothing on the toolbar, desktop or when I press ctrl alt + delete that suggests music - there's nothing that isn't normally there. It's almost like a radio station. I've checked my CD drive, media player and there are no pop ups or anything this music could be coming from. Does anyone have any idea what it is or how I could stop it?

okay..so i have liked this guy for about 4 or 5 months..we have gotten close to getting to know each other but we are both so shy and like i am not really sure he liked me even though i heard that he did.
