Should I wait?
My best guy friend (tom) has a girlfriend. His best guy (jake)friend likes me. I like my best guy friend (tom). Should I wait for tom to break up with his girlfriend or should I go ut with jake?

you need to determine which guy you like better..you should just go out with jake or tom and then realize that you like the other guy better and wish you went out with him. Then you'll break his heart and maybe yours. Give it time!! Hope i helped

Well it depends how long has tom been going out with his g/f do you think it will be a long one? (trust your gut) Maybe you should just give it a try with Jake, maybe he is your dream guy just get to know him he could be really cool and fun to be with. He`s Tom`s best friend (you like TOM) so they both must have somethings in common if there best friends. He might be just like Tom if you get to knwo him. If he is really not your type you could break up with him. Get to know people even though TOm is not available at the moment you cant spend your life waiting. Well, I think that you should wait for Tom and his girlfriend to split. All you have to do is figure out which one you like more.
I'd be careful, though. You may be tempted, if you decide to wait for tom, and go out with jake as a bookmark boyfriend until tom and his girl split. but then tom or jake might get very mad if you have to dump one for the other. Going out with both guys who are best friends, most of the time, doesn't go too well(it gets messy, and feelings are hurt.)
In the end, it's all about who you like more. Hope I helped some!=D

Well, since Tom has a girlfriend, you should go out with Jake, only if you like him, since he likes you and he is single. You could just go out with Jake for now and when Tom breaks up with his girlfriend, you can then go out with him. But if you don't like Jake, then you should wait but waiting for him make take a long time.

well if you don't like jake than you shouuldn't go out with him... just tell tom you have feelings for him... but try not to interfeer with his relationship with his girlfriend... i would say wait... but some day there will be a single guy who you'll like and you'll forget all about tom.

You shouldn't go out with a guy that you don't like because that would hurt the guy in the long run. Does Tom even like you? If Tom is going to be with his girlfriend for a long time, it's quite pointless waiting even if he doesn't like you at all. If you like Jake, you should go out with him because he likes you. But if Tom is dating another girl and he doesn't like you back, then don't wait around for him if there's nothing there to be waiting for.
