i know its dumb, but i always get emotional on the last day of school. this year, im graduating 6th grade and im afraid ill cry and look dumb.

aw..its ok to cry. Trust me you won't be the only one. Everyone gets emotional on the last day of school, some people just don't show it. Think of it this way, you are still going to be in middle school with the same people so the only thing that will change is your teachers.

its okay, i cried too!!! its a very sad moment...blah blah. i think youl be fine, its good that youre showing emotion. um maybe you could carry tissue or something, or stay by people who are also crying. good luck!

It's definitely not dumb for you to get emotional on the last day of school because it's normal. You are just feeling this way because you know that you and your friends will be in different classes and that you might not hang out with them during the summer. If you don't want to cry, then think about something else and you won't look dumb if you do because a lot of girls get emotional on the last day of school, even girls in my grade do and no one really cares. When the time comes to let go of your friends because of the last day of school, keep in touch with them and you'll feel better.

Don't worry, it's sad to leave each grade. If you're worried about the other kids making fun of you I doubt they will, but if you want to try not to cry you have to think of happy and funny things. Don't think about how it's the last day of school... think of something funny that will put a smile on your face! Or think about something that you're really really happy about, like say you just found out the guy you have a crush on likes you back, or your going on an awesome vacation this summer.
