I would prefer foreign names like Italian ones or Russian or even Hawaiian..annything unique.

Anastasia?

I really like that name.

That's really all I can come up with, or, at least, that's the best one, and the others suck.

yeahhhh another sex question haha sorry!:)

but i was just wondering, roughly the percentage of getting pregnant if you are on birth control, and take it the same time every day BUT the condom broke, tore, etc?

I don't know the exact percentage, but the chances are high, because even if you've been on birth control for five years, you can still get pregnant, let alone an STD.

Percentages really don't matter, because you could be the exception to the 97% of women that won't get pregnant if this..

My point is, the only way to 100% guarantee you won't get pregnant is, you guessed it, abstinence.

I've known people who have gotten pregnant when the condom didn't break/rip, and they were on birth control, and used it every day and how they were supposed to. So, it can happen. Just remember that.

ok so im on birth control and take it every night at 8:00 but maybe once a week i will take it at like 10:00 or really late because i will be at work (waitressing) and forget or something throws me off. anyways last night me and my boyfriend had sex and he came inside me (he usually does- although we have quit doing that as much as we use too b/c it raises chance of pregnancy) and last night was one of the nights i took my birth control a few hours after my regular time. how bad is that to do?

I couldn't tell you how bad it is... actually, yes, I could.

Having sex without a condom, whether you're on birth control or not, greatly increases your chances of getting pregnant, and getting STDs.

It's not smart to do that.

I've known some people that have taken their birth control at the same time every day for five years, and wore a condom, but still got pregnant. How? Because none of them are 100% effective contraceptives.

The only way to completely prevent getting pregnant is abstinence, so remember that.

I'm looking to replace my broken mp3 player. I've had a Creative Zen Vision:M for years now, and loved it to pieces. I flat-out refuse to get an iPod (not a fan of the interface, and I HATE iTunes).

The two that I'm looking at right now are the Creative Zen X-fi and the Microsoft Zune.

Anyone have experience with either of the above? I'm looking at the same cost range for both, so that's not a factor. Just looking for a basis of comparison. Reviews are great, but it's all apples and oranges.

A few of my friends have Zunes, and they really like them.

I've never heard of Creative Zen X-fi, but I've heard that people really like Zunes; it's just an acquired taste.

if you have an orgasime and it hurts but feals good is that bad

If it hurts and feels good, that's kind of contradictory, don't you think?

Something might be wrong. Talk to your doctor.

Hi, I'm an 18-year-old female and have been fooling around with a handful of guys (or more, and of course at seperate times) for about a year and a half now. Everytime I get fingered, I feel nothing. I'm just lying there, not getting an orgasm, and not feeling any pleasure whatsoever.

My boyfriend right now loves giving rather than receiving, so I feel bad and just let him go for it everytime. I suppose I don't have the guts to tell him that I don't like it. I would much rather give than receive, and this why; because I don't enjoy it and I probably should be.

I also have the feel that I need to pee everytime someone fingers me. I'm assuming it's me about to squirt, but I would be too embarrassed to do that, so when it gets really bad I pretend I got my orgasm and bring him up to kiss me and pull his hand away.

When I masturbate, which is on a good, weekly basis, I always orgasm. I don't finger myself, I just like to rub. Why can't anybody else make me do that, and why don't I enjoy it?

Why are you asking me?

Honestly, I have no idea, and, in feedback, I would LOVE to know why you came to me.

Maybe your boyfriend just doesn't do it right. Talk to him and tell him what you like.

ok, I'm 15, and I met this guy about a month ago when I was drunk and got off with him and got his number, he said he'd text me but didn't for 5 days. but we texted for a bit and he told me he liked me ad I liked him too. so I saw him again the Friday after and didn't drink and we hugged loads and he acted like he liked me but then didn't text for about 2 weeks, when he did we spoke for ages and had a 3 hour phone call and he said he like me and was soo nice and sweet and we arranged to meet up a few days later. we texted for a few more days but then he stopped texting me 2 days before we were going to meet up when we were in the middle of texting. he's on contract so isn't out of credit and had plently of chances to msn me. he recently broke up ( was dumped) with his ex and was pretty depressed about that. I'm so confused, does he like me?

Just to warn you, I'm not yelling at you only, but all those out there on Advicenators who think that JUST because a guy doesn't text you first, it means he can't POSSIBLY like you.

I don't know what it is that makes people think this. Seriously, sometimes we guys don't feel like starting a conversation because we're not always into talking. Sometimes we are. It really just depends.

And something as little as texting, come on, texting, for goodness sake, shouldn't dictate whether a guy likes you or not. The fact that he talks to you should be good enough, you know?

Since I see texting as the lowest form of communication, other than telegrams and letters, I don't see it as a big deal that he doesn't text you first. Maybe he's just busy and doesn't regularly think: Oh dear, maybe I should text this girl or she might think I'm a jerk.

Guys don't think like that.

So aside from my rant, which has meaning, I think that you should only take offense if he doesn't start the conversation first, if the conversation is IN PERSON, not through text. Like if you clearly make eye contact and he doesn't at least say hello or some type of small-talk, then I would say he doesn't like you as any more than a friend.

Why are some people so afraid of commitment?

Your answer is in your question.

Commitment. People are afraid to tie themselves down. A lot of people are too free-spirited to want to settle down.

But, it varies from person to person.

If you're a teenager, and you're wondering why someone won't date you, well, then ask them. Maybe they aren't afraid of commitment, they just don't want to date.

Me and this girl have been friends for quite awhile but now to the point where we're talking every single day and A LOT. I am totally falling for her and I want to ask her to be my girlfriend. How should I ask her? Please be specific, like how to start the conversation and stuff!!!

Like should I just straight up tell her?
Should I ask her if she likes me, and if she says yes then profess my feelings?

Please help! And PS, even if she doesn't like me back, I would like to still be friends with her, so is there a way to ensure that?

You could very well lead up to it, but if you want to make sure she understands what you're saying, try this:

"Hey [name]. Can we talk?"
"Yeah, sure.."
"Don't worry, it's nothing bad. It's actually really good. Well, lately, I've been feeling like we've been getting closer, and I've really loved it. And, the truth is, I think I really really like you..."
"[Hopefully her response is the same]"
"Well, so then what would you say if I asked you out?" [or something other than "Will you go out with me?"]

I think you should straight up tell her. That's the best.

Hi
I just turned 18 two days ago. I have been on the birth control yaz since I turned 16. My boyfriend and I had sex last night and i was on one of the off pills. ( the white ones for those who know yaz ) .. i know i have a chance of being pregnant.. anyone could tell me that. But do you think it is possible.. since ive been on yaz for 3 years now.. ?

Do I think there's a chance? Of course I do.

A lot of women become pregnant even when they use a condom and are on birth control. They aren't 100% immunity against pregnancy.

If you've been taking the pill as you're supposed to, the chances are low, but there are still chances.

Okay, my boyfriend of almost 3 months, he's kind of my first kiss, but not. because I don't count my first, since it was 2 seconds with my ex, I hated it, and was pretty much forced into kissing him. The first time I kissed my boyfriend, he didn't pressure me, knew about what happened with my ex and like, it was amazing. I was about to leave his house and i asked hi what he was thinking about, he said, "you." and i said, "what about me?" and he replied with, "just you." then i said, "what do you want?" and he said, "I want to kiss you." then he lifted up my chin up and kissed me. it was always how i wanted my first kiss to be :] [technical first kiss haha] then i got up and so did he and i put my arms around his shoulders to hug him and he kissed me again, then he picked me up and kissed me in the air. hahaa, it was amazing :] but anyways so we hung out again and we cuddled on his couch and just layed around. so like he kissed me again and kept kissing me, and like, I couldnt help but smile or laugh/giggle afterwards, he just makes me so happy. so he goes, "you're so weird :]" [when i was laughing after like each kiss] hahaa and i was like, you're weird too, thats why we're compatible with eachother hahaa :] and like.. we dont liek make out with tongue, i know he wants to, but im scared. but we dont just peck either, its like kissing without tongue hahaa. if you get what i mean, and when i turn my head to stop kissing, he always kisses my sheek and forehead a gazillion times :] :] so here are my questions..

1. is it bad that I laugh and smile and giggle after we kiss..?
2. uhm, i dont know what to do about the kissing, because I'm freaked out by the tongue thing, i dont think i'll know what to do, it seems scary and what if i find it gross ? hahaa.
3. when we kiss, i know im breathing, but it feels like im not ? hahaa is that weird too ?
4. how do i know if he liked the kissing ? and how do i know he's thinking about it as much as i am ? haaaha.

okay well thats about it, oh im 16/f by the way, and hes 16/m. thanks so much in advance!!

1. Not at all.
2. That's perfectly normal. Don't do it until you're ready. And, from personal experience, it's kind of gross.
3. No. Perfectly normal.
4. How do you know he liked the kissing? He keeps doing it. If he didn't like it, he wouldn't keep doing it.

Trust me, guys analyze this stuff just as much as girls do, so he probably is thinking about it as much as you.

Okay so I'm a 16 year old girl, and my boyfriend (17) and I have been going out for like a year now. I'm crazy about him, but theres one problem. He really wants to have sex and I don't. He knows that I want to wait for marriage but he can't understand why... I've tried to explain that its what I believe, and that its what I want, and also that I think I'm too young and not ready, but he just doesn't get it. Its not like hes pressuring me or anything, but I really want to know how I can make him understand how I feel. Thanks!

Tell him no. No means no. You've explained yourself, and honestly, I don't see that he deserves any further explanation.

He's trying to get you to doubt yourself so that you'll end up agreeing to sex.

Stand by your choice. Good for you.

19/female. my best friend is 18/m

i have a lot of love for my best friend!

we've been friends for like 6 years now.

i have a crush on him too =p

but anyways! how can i tell him that i like, love him. i'm not IN love with him, but i love him as my best friend!?

i don't want to just say like "i love you" because that will probably come off wrong to him.

i hope you guys understand!

Some girl best friends tell me they love me all the time, but that doesn't mean they like me.

And I'm sure there's been a girl or two that has liked me, but still said "I love you".

Friendship love is different than romantic love.

If you're going to say I love you, it should really depend on what love it is.

I wouldn't say it if it's romantic from your end.
I would say it if it's friendship.

We are expecting our first child and need baby name help. My husband and I have chosen not to find out the sex of our baby until he/she has been born. We have some names we like, but we aren't 100% sure on any of them. We thought maybe someone could suggest some that they really enjoy and let us know what they thought about some of ours.

Baby names we like so far...

Baby boy names:
Michael David
John Patrick
James Paul
David Austin

Baby girl names:
Grace Anne
Madison Faith
Anna-Claire
Elisa Grace

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We like sweet, old-fashioned names, and traditional names mainly.

Thank you.

I really like the following "old-fashioned" names:

Girl:
Lois
Patricia
Grace
Jacqueline
Katherine

Boy:
Clark
William
Edward [NOT FROM TWILIGHT]
Paul
James

I have a little bit of acne on my face and I want a good acne wash to get rid of it. I don't want something over-drying or anything though that will cause my face to lose that glow I have :)

Any suggestions?

http://www.advicenators.com/qview.php?q=507367

There's an answer I've given before to answer how to help acne.

I know it's not specifically a face-wash, but it's general tips on how to avoid acne.
