but i was just wondering, roughly the percentage of getting pregnant if you are on birth control, and take it the same time every day BUT the condom broke, tore, etc?
Cux answered Tuesday August 11 2009, 2:17 pm: I don't know the exact percentage, but the chances are high, because even if you've been on birth control for five years, you can still get pregnant, let alone an STD.
Percentages really don't matter, because you could be the exception to the 97% of women that won't get pregnant if this..
My point is, the only way to 100% guarantee you won't get pregnant is, you guessed it, abstinence.
I've known people who have gotten pregnant when the condom didn't break/rip, and they were on birth control, and used it every day and how they were supposed to. So, it can happen. Just remember that.

just always remember that no matter what precautions you take, there is always a chance at pregnancy.
