plan b effective

i just took plan b that my sister bought from the cvs, she said that it's the same thing as what the doctors give you.. just that you pay more for it. it's for 17 year olds and under, and i took it 14 hours after the sex. how effective will it be? will it work? it said to take one, and to take the other one in 12 hours. it just didn't say how effective it was. help?

hey. you will be fine :D:D 14 hours is perfect. the pill alone is only 98% effective. im pretty sure it will work. just try to relax and think possitive. the brain is super powerfull and if you keep freaking yourself out then mostlikely your mind will start to iagin things and your period will come later than usual and your eating and sleeping habits will change.. and then you will think it didnt work. :) belive me. just relax. im positive it will work.

The Plan B contraceptive is most effective within 72 hours after one has had sex. Since you took it 14 hours after, it'll be more effective than it would be if you took it a week from now.
I'm not sure of an exact percentage, but pretty effective because you took it before the 72 hour suggestion wait.
