I'm a mother of 2 boys who are 13 months apart. Talk about a handful. I'm a wife to the best husband I could have ever dreamed of.I'm one of the very blessed.
I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.
Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.
Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.

I'm honest, and that can either be a perk or s flaw. Depends on how you choose to look at it.

So my bf and I have been happily dating fir 5 months now. He is 19 and I am 18. The thing is, is that I feel that I forced him to say he loves me.
...the reason I feel this??
Well he told me like a month into our relationship that he has never told a girl that he loved them. He says that he takes those words very seriously and he only wants to say "I love you" to one girl the rest of his life. I respected that and thought it was sweet. So then we kept dating and a couple more months go by and I seriously started falling in love with him. I felt that he felt the same way. We would, instead of saying "I love you", say "I like you". It was used as if the word like was taking the place if the word love. Eventually this became frustrating for me and I would tell him "I don't like you baby...I more than like you" but I wouldn't actually say I love him because he had told me before not to say it because he wouldn't say it back. And I obviously didn't want to get hurt.
...fast forward to like month 3 or so. So there we are...lying in one of our friends houses hanging out upstairs while our friends are downstairs hanging out. So it's just me and him and we are all cuddly and kissing and stuff and I told him that I was sick of saying I "like" him blah blah blah cuz I didn't feel I "like" him, but a stronger feeling. He totally agreed with me and said he felt the same way. This just bothered me. So I told him that if we both feel this way then why aren't we saying it. So we ended up talking and finally he told me he loved me. It was awesome the way he said it too...he was all detailed and sweet. It was perfect how he said it.
But I totally nagged him about saying it for the longest time and he finally did, but I forced him.
So we have been saying "I love you" ever since. I really do love him. I am in love with him. But I'm scared...
Tonight I sent him a text saying "do u feel that I forced you to say you love me?" and his respons...
"sorry but ya kinda."
WHAT!?!
Then before I could find out any information more he ended up falling asleep before texting me back! Ahh!
So tell me...how am I supposed to know he actually does love me if he said I forced him??? Totally sucks. =\
But anyway...thanks for your help in advance. It is MUCH appreciated. :)
Saying "I love you" is easy, and can be an untruth.
"I love you" is a simple phrase, really. It's constructed of three simple words.
Its SHOWING love that matters.
Actions speak a hell of a lot louder than words.
Does he treat you as if he loves you?
Do his ACTIONS make you feel loved?
Answer those questions honestly, and you will see how he truly feels about you.

I am a 17f. Theres this guy I met and have known for several months. He is 18 and he is the absolute sweetest guy ever, which is why I like him. We have hung out a few nights and cuddled a little. The problem is, I know he has another girl that he feels strongly for. He told me about her and hes told me he loves me, but its not the same love that he has for this other girl. Then he tells me later that he just loves me. He also said he wants to kiss me to see if theres 'a spark', I didnt think that would be right so I didnt let him. I dont want to get closer to him, expecially knowing he has another girl. Everyone thinks we are dating and I keep telling them NO WE ARE NOT. I think I really like him, Im just unsure. I think hes unsure as well. He makes me feel like I have never felt before, but I can't help but think that he will end up ditching me or I might find someone better.. you know? I told him we should just be friends..deep inside I want it to be more;I am sure he does too but..yeah. I have never dated before, cuz all the other guys I know are losers and just want sex. I want it to be right. I am not the kind of girl that dates just anybody for the hell of it. Please tell me what you think, Just be friends or.. ?

I am going to a funeral on Friday for my boyfriends cousin who murdered his girlfriend and then committed suicide. My boyfriend was very close to his cousin but both of us are at a loss wondering what exactly do we say to his immediate family at the memorial service?
Well, I'd say you give them condolences just like any other family who has lost someone.
Shake their hands and say your sorry for their loss.
The courteous thing for your boyfriend to do would be to tell them that he's willing to help them if they need anything at all.
It's obvious that these folks are dealing with more than their fair share of grief right now. Not only did their son take his own life, but he took the life of another first.
Don't make them feel worse by making this funeral awkward, if you can help it.
Both you and boyfriend would be doing best to just keep the whole murder/suicide thing out of your heads during the funeral, out of respect for the grieving parents/siblings. It will make it easier for you to deal.

My boyfriend and I just had a baby in July (I'm 18, he's 24). Ever since we've been together he's always seemed like he was more interested in going out and having a good time at bars and stuff rather than being with me. But if you really love someone don't you want to spend as much time with them as possible? I thought maybey when I had the baby he would stop going out all together, but that hasn't changed. I just feel like I'm at the bottom of his priorities. Every Thursday he goes over to the bar across from my house for a concert they have there, and yesterday(thursday) I told him I didnt want him to go..but he didn't care. He said he'd only be an hour but ended up there for 2 1/2..I confronted him when he got home and just said "if youre going to say an hour, then I expect you home in an hour"..and he started getting all pissy and ended up sleeping on the floor. But I was completely calm and nice about it so he had no reason to over react that way.
Today he acted like nothing was wrong.
I'm just sick of wondering if he really loves me. He says he does all the time - but actions speak louder than words. He wants to get married in January and then have me and the baby move with him where he's stationed (because hes going to the marines).. and I'm afraid to marry someone who's not 100 percent set on making me happy. Isn't that what marriage is about? Advice?!
Well, I most certainly don't blame your worries, however, you need to change your priorities as well.
It's selfish to expect someone to be 100% set on making YOU happy. That is not what marriage is about. You should BOTH be 100% set on making your CHILD happy.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your lives are no longer about you. They are about the innocent kid you brought into the mix.
The innocent kid who's father would rather hang out with his buddies at the bar than spend time with him/her.
The innocent kid who's mother is more concerned with the father not spending time with her.
So there IS something wrong here, and it's wrong with both of you.

hey guys. im a 13 year old who really wants to starts boxing , mma , or kickboxing. i did one training session of boxing and it was intense and i really liked it. I just overall like used just my hands when i fight, i dont like to be using hands and feet. But if mma or kickboxing was better, i will try to get used to using them. please help me and tell me which one you think is the best and why . Thanks a lot.

I have to be honest and point out that you've already answered your own question.
When you are involving yourself in such an activity that consists of guys beating up each other for the fun of it, you stick with the style that goes along with "for the fun of it." Otherwise, you're just "getting use to" beating each other up, and that doesn't make much sense, does it? I don't see the fun in that, I guess.
So I vote to stick with boxing, at least for now. If you ever decide to get into MMA, you can always use boxing as your standing game, and learn another fighting style for your ground game.

Why do guys take so much pride in "protecting" their girlfriends when it just comes off as jelous and overprotective to the girl?
From my learning, it's a natural instinct.
Okay it's Saturday I live in an apartment complex the office is closed so I can't call and I have sugar ants GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I wanted to know if Lysol disinfectant spray helps keep these suckers away and kills them? My apartment is clean, Yes I know raid works but I haven't gotten to the store yet which I plan on doing soon but in the meantime will Lysol work at all? Also I heard salt and water kills these things too is that true? Help please!
Just wanted to pass on a bit of info I've learned:
Raid is great for killing the ones you see.
Best way to deal with ants is Ortho Home Defense Max. You just spray around your base boards once every spring and summer season, and it keeps ants out, as well as other pests.
It's inexpensive: only about $11 or $12 for a gallon, which lasts several seasons.
Even though the apartment complex should pay for all pest control, it's more worth your money if you plan to buy Raid.

i got a miniature dachshund and a st. bernard. :) and for names i was thinking dot for the dachshund and puddles for the st. bernard. (cuz of the puddles she'll make with her drool. lol.) any other suggestions?

ok so say someone has sex and the guy cums in you a little bit. The last time you got your period was on the third of july. until july 10 very normal and what not until the 16 of july you get something thats light brown and sorta red not that heavy and that goes on for a while then its sorta heavy and red and then it ends on july 24. you have sex and havnt gotten your period in the month of agust yet. is that normal? if you are prego what are great sighns of that in the first week or two?
If you have a period, even a light one, then it is a period.
If your are thinking of implantation bleeding, that is where basically you one time wipe yourself and notice a little bit of blood smeared about on the paper.
Seems that all of the rest you experienced was some sort of discharge.
Today is August 8, so give it another week. If no period by August 15, then take a pregnancy test.
If you are a teenager, your cycle will still take time to be fully regulated, even when you think you're already regular.

my parents make me go to church, even though they know i don't believe in organized religon. we go to a unitarian universalist church but even though it's a very open type of place i still don't like it. i think i could be doing much better things with my time, like clipping my toenails or doing my homework. they claim that it's "family time." how sitting in an uncomfortable pew listening to a reverend is family time, i dont know. How can i get them to understand that this whole "going to church" thing does NOTHING for me??

I agree with you on your point of view about what you could be doing with your time.
However, I believe that your parents are sincere in feeling it is family time. Just because you don't want to see it that way doesn't mean that many others don't.
It does nothing for you because you are looking at the picture wrong: See, it does something for your parents that you spend that time with them, and if you saw it in that sort of light, perhaps at least doing something that makes them feel good will do something for you. You can always use the time to wool gather, or think deep thoughts of some sort.
It doesn't hurt to do things you don't like in order to please your parents now and then. I promise that one day you'll realize how much they gave up, or how many times they did that they didn't want in order to please you all these years. Its not a bad thing to do that for people, because you do those things out of love.

I shed hair a lot. I have very very long hair and its thick. I love my hair and don't want to cut it but i hate how much hair comes out when im combing and stuff. Are there any tips you can give me on how to stop shedding so much or at least how to deal with it. Thank you so much!!
I have very thick hair, and the longer it gets, the more it sheds. Make sure to brush your hair from the ends up. The more pulling during brushing, the more hair that sheds due to pulling out. Of course, longer, thicker hair means more hair to tangle, then pull during brushing.

my wife says she has bulimia - she is a healthy 24 y/o, weight approx 54kg - but after a meal if she thinks shes eaten too much she will go and throw up, she has been doing this for years - what can i do to help her ?
Best thing I can think to do is for you to take her to the hospital so they can help you get help from someone who specializes in eating disorders.
It's good that she has come to you about it for help.

i didnt know what category so i did this 1...im not tryin to be mean by saying crybaby the stalker...but she wont leave me and my friends alone...im in a group of 4 bffs...were 13 were girls...we go to a stupid catholic school...we are very rough w/ eachother we do cuss but so what...we dont be mean 2 her we dont do it 2 her but me and my friends come up behind eachother and jump on or trip or just step on ther shoes we cuss at eachother not mean but as best friends... so she crys about everything we do and tells on us so we get a detention and SHE WONT LEAVE US ALONE...my mom whent up 2 school because of stalker telling about everything we do my mom says its fine its my friends and she was the same way...i have had 16 detentions this year because of her...i am not a trouble maker im very shy exept around my friends...if we tell her 2 leave us alone she crys and tells but we only miss recess when she does tht...how do we get the stalker to leave

You're tripping her, stepping on her shoes, and doing other things for her to cry about, or else you wouldn't be getting detention.

My whole life, so far anyways, has been one, big, miserable hell. I'm going to be 19 in September and I don't feel like I can trust anybody. I've been told I'm pretty even beautiful, but I am not popular. Everybody makes fun of me, all throughout school they've made fun of me. My friends make fun of me, my family makes fun of me, and they do it in front of people who just met me which gives them a bad impression of me. I feel like everyone hates me because of some of the stuff they say. Everyone talks down to me when I say how I feel and I just hate it! Everyone seems to want to know how you feel and then when you tell them, they yell at you! I hate my life, and I hate being alive. No one would miss me if I was dead, so why does God keep me alive?
You are going to be 19.
There is a whole world at your feet to make your life, where you don't have to feel as though you are beneath others.
Move an hour away from where you are now, meet your own people, do your own thing, be your own person.
We are given life to make something of it, not sit around feeling self pity.

My mom won't let me get a pocket bike. She said she would think about it and then I asked her again and she said I don't know if I'm going to let you get it because it sounds too dangerous. I need somthing to convince her to let me get it because I want it soooo bad right now.
Well, she said she'd think about it.
Obviously, during this thinking period, she did her job as a parent and looked into it, and realized it was too dangerous.

ok yesterday i was at my friend's house and we were planning our first day of school outfits. then she told me she switched the tags so she can buy it for less. she said she bought them at regular price then went home switched the tags to a higher price and returned it and got something for the price she put on. she said she does it as "plato's closet" or "twice as nice", i forgot which one, because they all have the same code i think. will she get caught i really care for her but i dont know how to tell her
Well, you could tell her that you are concerned that if they catch her, they will prosecute her. It is theft, and theft is a crime.
I don't know if they will catch her or not. It would probably be a good thing if they did. Why? Better for her to learn a valuable lesson from it while she's still young enough to be prosecuted as a minor, if they press charges.

So my boyfriend who is 17, almost 18 in 2 months and is in foster care. His foster mother said he cant see his real family unless she is there and she hates his real sister so he isn't aloud to see her at all. Well yesterday we went over to his sisters to hang out and just have a good time like usual. Well his real brother was there [who is not in foster care] and he barrowed his bike to go get something from the store. Well on his way back my boyfriends foster mother seen him and fallowed him back to my boyfried's sisters house, then told my boyfriend he had to come outside. Well we went outside and his sisters daughter fallwoed so I went to take her in well as I went in his mother freaked out on him. I go back out side and she is tells me that I can't talk to him for a while and then they left I statred crying and his sister and her husband conforted me. About an hour later I settled down to a small cry and we were just talking and I got a text from him and he said we could talk and see each other and that he was allowed to see his sister every now and again. But I have a feeling its not over because I have seen her around town on my way home from summer school. It's like she is fallowing me and I have a feeling this isnt over yet. What can I do? I am only 16 and my boyfriends mother dislikes me alot. All I wanted was to be able to be with him and have no problems but she is always causeing them and trying to get us fighting. We have been dateing 3 months and no fighting and now this. I don't know anymore. I will not dump him and he wont dump me...
The best thing I can think to say is this:
Take comfort that in two months, she no longer has any say over what he does, and who he spends time with.
I think its a shame that she isn't wanting him to spend time with his bio siblings.
