My mom

Question Posted Friday July 24 2009, 3:40 pm

My mom won't let me get a pocket bike. She said she would think about it and then I asked her again and she said I don't know if I'm going to let you get it because it sounds too dangerous. I need somthing to convince her to let me get it because I want it soooo bad right now.

I feel for you, I went through the same thing with a trampoline, and other things (even though I never got the trampoline haha) this technique works for alot of situations. Get a powerpoint on microsoft word ready for your mom, about why pocket bikes are safe and fun. Or you can just tell her, or make a speech on paper, trust me it works.
Now you might be wondering: "Good idea, but how ARE pocket bikes safe?"
well luckily for you, I found you some websites about how they can be safe and fun at the same time. take some of the good (non dangerous) points from the websites I provide below, and use that information to convince your mom.
and remember, she said she would (key word) THINK about it, which isnt a definate no.

Good Luck!! xosodapopx3

ps
maybe some chores around the house would help your mom decide :-) also, maybe you could offer to help out with the cost if needed.

Well, she said she'd think about it.
Obviously, during this thinking period, she did her job as a parent and looked into it, and realized it was too dangerous.

I'm a mother.
I'm telling you- You won't convince her to change her mind.
