It's unlikely. Since, if one parent can take care of one child, they should be able to take care of two. Unless there were special circumstances, such as.. one child has some disease, and they must remain in the house nearest the hospital, unless that parent is a druggie or something, ya know?? Almost ALWAYS they are kept together, so you shouldn't worrie about that. :D

Well, the judge will ask you what your perference is, naturally. He will listen to your reasonings, and give them serious though. However, at the end of the trail, he will make up his mind. What's he's decided... he's decided. Not much you can do about that. The only thing that could change it would be if the parent you're with screws up BIG time.. like murders someone, as an example... Or unless the parent says they would perfer you to go with the other, you see?

Depends on how much, though it doesn't really matter. For instance, my Uncle is a doctor = BIG BUCKS!!!!!!!! His wife [my Aunt] is a school bus driver. You can imagine the difference in pay there, right??? The child is still with my Aunt, regardless. My Aunt can afford the child, that's all that matters. As long as the Mom can keep a stable environment.. they will still lean towards her.. even IF the Dad has a higher income.

It just depends. They go to whomever the court views as the more suitable parent. Whomever has the most stable job, cleanest environment, lives closest to the school, doesn't have a drug problem, doesn't abuse the child, can always afford food and heat, and so on. Usually.. the Mother's have the right of way; courts lean towards them automatically, but if the mom isn't suitable [because she has the above problems] they will place the child with the father. It really just depends, Hun. :)

This is kind of a hard question to answer. I'm not really shore how to tell you HOW you will know, you understand? But I DEFINITELY DO know what you mean by that one true best friend. I have found mine. I've known her since I was 7, and ten years later.. we're STILL inseparable. I guess the only way to know if that person will be there for you through thick and thin is to be put IN that situation, and seeing their reaction, ya know? However you must understand that hardly ANY relationship is ever without at least A LITTLE BIT of SOME type of hurt...
