SilentOne answered Sunday July 10 2005, 5:31 am: hi,
Have you tried Evening Primrose oil?
It's a natural suppliment that you can probably get from your local chemist. It helps supress the production of some of the chemicals that cause PMS cramping.
karlyndarlin05 answered Saturday July 9 2005, 11:47 pm: working out wont get rid of your cramps, however it will shorten your period if you work out hard enough. you have to give the medicince enough time. jsut try and lay down or sit down at least. take it easy. dreamandhope14 answered Saturday July 9 2005, 7:27 pm: There's two things I usually do.
1) Get Midol -->> It's probably the best cramp medicine i have taken for cramps, and it works every single time.
2) Get a heating pad -->> After taking midol.. put the heating pad wherever your cramps are.
I do this every time of the month, ha so I for sure know it works... or at least for me. So definitely try it =) And I hope you get better, cramps do suck.
twistedsister17 answered Saturday July 9 2005, 7:26 pm: try:
1. a heating pad on your belly
2. a hot steamy shower
3. drink LOTS of water
4. get a good nights sleep
5. stay active- I know it sounds weird but it will help if you excersize. [ twistedsister17's advice column | Ask twistedsister17 A Question ]

Mackenzie answered Saturday July 9 2005, 6:29 pm: You have many options heRe: It's well known that RegulaR physical activity helps Reduce the cRamping in some women, so if you can bRing youRself to do this, that will help you immensely. You could also tRy taking a waRm bath and using aRomatheRapy. Applying a heating pad on youR loweR abdomen oR back should do wondeRs. If you don't have a heating pad, you can make one by simply filling a sock with Rice and heating it in the micRowave foR a few minutes [must sound silly, but if the cRamps get bad enough, it just might be woRth it]. You mention you took some IbupRofen, but have you been taking them aRound the clock fRom?? That's always a good diea. Many women choose to take medication aRound the clock fRom the time the cycle staRts, until it ends. Any pain killeR will do, but I definitely DO Reccommend IbupRofen, ExtRa StRength Advil oR Midol -- it's also best to take medication will a meal, that way the Risk of stomach discomfoRt is slimmed. Feel betteR!! :D [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
cujobird answered Saturday July 9 2005, 5:41 pm: Boy ,I know the feeling! When my cramps got that bad I took a Motrin IB ,put a warm heating pad on my lower stomach with a bunch of pillows under my knees to lift the legs.Sometimes that would help.
Hope it helps for you. [ cujobird's advice column | Ask cujobird A Question ]
x_mystery answered Saturday July 9 2005, 5:40 pm: I get the same thing every month..and I know, it sucks. Just try putting a hot water bottle on it (if you don't have a REAL hot water bottle, or a rice pillow or anything, empty out a plastic soda bottle and fill it with hot water) and lay it on your tummy. Try keeping your mind off it, and take a nap if you can. Hope I helped! ♥ [ x_mystery's advice column | Ask x_mystery A Question ]
