a few days ago me and my friend were talkin and i pointed out to my friend that she had a big nose, and then she told me i had a big belly. well i told my mom what she said and my mom called her mom. they started argueing and my friends mom said that what her daughter said about me was true, that i did have a big belly and i needed to stop wearing tight shirts and hip huggers because my "wobbly mess" hanging out everywhere was repulsive. do you guys think what my friend said to me was rude, or did she have every right to say it because i said she had a big nose? do you think her mom had the okay to say what she did about me?

You were both wrong.
You said your friend had a big nose, so it obviously upset her, because there's not much she can do about it.
I think your friend acted on instinct and only said you had a big belly because you said something nasty to her first - even if you didn't actually mean it.
I feel your friends mum has made the situation worse.
You should all apologize to each other to clear the air.
Your mums are only trying to protect you, but it was a dodgy situation to begin with.
I don't think it's anything to worry and lose friends over.
Try to clear the air as soon as possible, with your friend and your mums :)

I am 13/f, me and my boyfriend have been dating for 4 months. My friends absolutly hate my boyfriend. I can see why though. He is always calling my friends names!! It gets on there nerves and even my nerves quite often! Its nothing bad like, fat, ugly, ect. but its like your stupid, your a loser, and, like blonde jokes. So far all of my friends told me i should break up with him. Isn't that crazy?!? Even some of them say that if i dont break up with him, then we wont be friends anymore. This happens alot. You can't guarantee your friends will get on with your other half - vice versa.
Friends are more important. but when they get boyfriends, no doubt the same will happen to them as it is to you.. Or they will start to spend less time with you and more with their bf's. That's life.
I think you need to speak to them all. Tell them how you're feeling. Firstly, you need to explain to your boyfriend it's not fair to diss your friends. He should apologize to them, too.
Next, tell your friends you aren't prepared to choose between everybody. It's not fair on you.
It's not like you all have to hang out together is it?
You should see your boyfriend on seperate days to your friends. Make sure to have girly days/nights so they know you aren't ditching them.
They could also be jealous you have a bf and they don't?
I'm sure you will be able to get to the root of this somehow.
Just speak to them and see what you say.
Either way, your friends are probably looking out for you.

Hi "thelaura" I'm really good friends with this guy, well thats what he thinks, I actually think I like him a lot more then a friend. He was going out with this girl for about a year and their relationship ended about a month ago, he got over it pretty quickly suprisingly, and i'm not sure what to do, because funny enough he won't believe I really like him (more then a friend) so I don't know what to do! How can I make him realise big time that I actually do like him more then a friend?

I'm guessing you've actually told him straight out you like him? If not, that is what you need to do!
Maybe he doesn't want to believe you because it might jeapordise your friendship at the moment - Let him know that will not happen and if he doesn't have feelings for you, it will not be a problem and you can continue being friends without the awkwardness.
Does he have feelings back for you? If you're unsure, you could either ask him yourself or get another friend to casually ask him.
Make some plans to go places together, call him randomly for a chat or something.
This may sound weird, but everyone has their own "personal space". To tell if he's really comfortable with you, try standing really close to him to see if he moves away. Or "accidently" brush his arm/leg/etc to see if his reaction is to let you do it, or be a little freaked out and perhaps move away.
If you can get past his personal space, without being too annoying and doing it alot, it is a good sign if he doesn't step back.
Be more open with your body language and when you talk to him, remain eye contact.
There are lots of ways to hint you actually like someone, but he could mistake it for you being a very good friend.
Telling is the best method and you can't go wrong.

I just got a nose ring. I work at walmart and they said NO facial jewlery at all in the policy rules. Now... I bought a clear ring for it, but I'm scared to put it in. They guy said 6 weeks then I can change it... but I can't wait that long. Is it okay to put a clear one in before its heald and just keep it clean and stuff. Or should I reeealllly wait?

If it's an emergency (in your case it is!) it will be fine to change it. Just this once mind! You really don't want to be messing with nostril piercings. Take it from me, after 3 attempts of piercing and incorrect jewelry and the likes, only change it when it's really necessary.
If you're nervous about doing it yourself, go back to your piercer and have them do it or you. That is what they're there for :)

You are not comfortable being in a relationship with your best friend. So tell her.
Maybe she will feel the same and realize it just doesn't feel right.
but maybe she does have strong feelings for you - and the longer you let this go on, the more hurt she will be in the long run.
You are best friends, so you obviously share a strong bond. Next time you see her, explain you just don't feel comfortable being in this "relationship" with her.
She should understand. Let her know it won't affect your friendship.
That is all you can do really. You can't be expected to carry on being in a relationship you really don't want to be in.

i got my belly button pierced in april of 2006 and it has healed perfectly fine - no infections, nothing went wrong with it. now it seems like, there is less skin holding the piercing in, almost like the ring doesn't go in as deep as it used to. it might just be a little bit, or maybe i'm crazy, but is this normal? if it is becoming a smaller amount of skin holding it in, what do i do? if i take it out how long do i have to wait to get it repierced? help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, it happens. Your piercing may be rejecting. If that's the case, eventually, you will have to take it out before it generally falls out!
It might not be though. Give it a bit of time. There's nothing you can do, really. But it wouldn't hurt to take a trip to a piercer and ask them to take a look.
To get repierced, it's recommeneded to wait months before going through it all again, because for one, it will hurt alot more. My pain tolerance is high and once I got repierced, it actually hurt alot due to the scar tissue.
It's also best to allow it to heal as fully as possible before getting pierced again.

I am 13 and i can't stand my body, my legs are to short. I am the shortest one in my grade, only 5 foot and i don't no what to do, my family doesn't exactly have the money to give me a shot that will help my growth and they say that i am normal height but i had my period over 2 years ago and i'm not supposed to grow anymore. Don't worry. Just because you've had your period doesn't mean you wont grow any more. You have at LEAST 5 years worth to do. and at 13, I'd say you're pretty average height.
Don't let anyone put you down. You may not like your body right now, but I can guarantee your body is going to change and become more shapely and you will most probably grow throughout the years.
Just don't forget in the mean time t eat healthily and get your sleep.

whenever i shave my armpits they never look like completely hair free. they are still a darker color where the hair should be. i want to get my to look like there was never any hair there, and i want it to blend in with my skin. how can i do this?

i already use a venus razor & shave cream. i've also tried using conditioner and it does the same thing.

I think most people experience this. But lets face it, just because you know it's there, noone else does. Who's going to get THAT close anyway? ;)
You could try waxing, but I personally don't feel it's necessary. Just make sure you have a sharp razor.
Also, I wouldn't use conditioner and cream etc, because it'll probably clog up the razor and not doing a very good job.
Water will work fine. and don't just shave in 1 direction.
Why don't you get disposable razors? You can change them more frequently and they'll always be sharp :) They cost less too.

Bio oil. It's specifically made for stretch marks and scars. Look around your chemist/stores. I'm adament most will have it!

It's likely he already is using treatment/facial washes for his face. Bad acne is hard to treat -you can't get rid of it just like that.
If you like him enough to date him, perhaps you should be able to see through his spots and see him for the person inside? Don't forget his acne won't last forever. But if it grosses you out, perhaps you shouldn't be with him at all.
It's not his fault. and I'm sure he would be devastated if he knows it's getting in the way of potential girlfriends.
Think about this one.
If it really grosses you out that much, it would probably affect your relationship.

In my opinion, yes. 13 is too young. Lets face it, there aren't many 13 year olds who are clued up about sex are there? Sure, it all might seem like a lot of fun but the risks are too great. I'm talking about pregnancy and STI's - what most teens don't seem to worry about these days.
Most young teens that get intimate at a young age later regret what they've done. Eg) If word gets out around the school, they'll be labelled "slut" etc and could be given a reputation.. Or they wish they would have waited to do it with the right person when they get a little older.. Or they may feel used straight after doing the deed. The list is pretty endless.
There's alot to think about, not just physically, but emotionally too.

I'm completely fed up- I made it clear to this one guy that I'd been dating that I was really busy and was going to move out soon, etc., etc. I did not ever tell him that I wanted to stop dating, but it should be clear due to these signs:

-He called 3x in one day, I didn't return his calls.

I know the feeling. To stop the "harassment" you need to tell him straight out to please stop calling and you don't want a relationship with him. Sure, it may hurt him, but it's best he knows and isn't clinging onto any hope, because you haven't actually told him you wanted to stop dating. He may genuinly think you're just too busy and you might still want to date.
Put both of you out your misery and tell him.

Alot of people don't like doing it. Of course he'd like you to, but if you don't feel comfortable, despite what the previous advicenator said, he WILL respect the decisions you make. Oral sex isn't a necessity and you should never ever feel pressured into doing it if you don't want to.
You could givie it a try if you WANT to and make it clear to him if you don't like it, you won't be doing it again.
