what are your opinions on tankinis.

are they more for older women (25 and up), or can teenagers where them too and still look cool. like would you wear them?

Teens can wear them. They are good for girls who are a little unconfortable in bikinis. They will still look cool in a tankinis as they would in a bikinis They are harder to find in cute patterns as other columnists have said. I would wear one deffentally :)

ok so i am 16 and i am a sophmore in high school and i have been really good friends with this kid for most of the school year and then on valentines day we told eachother we like eachother but the thing is he was hurt really bad in a relationship a little while back so he doesnt want to be in a relationship right now. (which i am completely ok with but...) ever since we told eachother we liked eachother he has been saying that we can be friends with benefits and we cant even have a real conversation without him saying something sexual or about us having sex. What do i do because i like him but i dont really think with my personality i would be able to do the whole "friends with benefits" thing because but i like him. I dont really know what to do because me and this guy are VERY close friends and we can tell eachother everything but now all i feel like is a "booty call" and i dont like it.. what do i do?!?!

I understand where you're comming from on the whole freinds with benefits thing. There are alot of different things you can do or try so I'll try and explain each of them :)


You could tell him how you feel. That you really do like him & you're not sure if being FWB would be a good idea. That you feel like a booty call & you feel in a way disrespected, & even if you guys become FWB that you wont have the same [tell everything] friendship as before.


Sorry to say, but from what I'v understood [just got out of a bad relationship] basicly is an excause to get some, but not have to worry about a relationship. It could be true, and maybe he did just get out of a relationship, but if he cares alot about you and likes you enough, it wouldn't matter. He`d be willing to take the risk again.


The best thing to do is wait. Stay firends no FWB, and just wait for him to be ready. To not be [hurt] anymore. Might take a litte while, but if you like him enough it should be worth the wait.

What is Sparkling wine?
Personally what is your opinion about it? To you like it better compared to regular? What different about it? Is it sweeter?

Sparkling is non-alcohalic wine. I don`t like it really, makes my lungs feel funny. weird I know. The taste is good & all, just make me feel like I can't breath.

Regular wine has alcohal in it. Only like 4% though, peronally I think it tastes much better. Id pick it over sparkling anyday. Its sweeter & doesn't give me that [cant breath] feeling. You can taste a little alcohal, but its not strong.

Being prep isnt just about clothes, its a personality thing. You shouldn't change your personality, but your choice :)

Be in a way [up beat], outgoing, nice, do your makeup everyday & your hair. Dress in cute clothes [abercombie / hollister] & try and stay with the trends.

People are stupid & immature. They only say stuff when they know it has an effect on a person. Its hard to have people make fun of you, people made fun of me all threw elementry & part of middle school. Its hard and its not fun, but I learned that people make fun of you to see your reaction. They like knowing that what they are saying is effecting you. Ignore them, and know that your are the better person. They are making fun of you, to make themselves feel good about themselves. Just have fun at school, and ignore those that make you mad.

ok so i've read this alot and i'm having a really hard time right now so i thought i would try.

ok i've had two boy best friends for a yr. now and they have both been there for me through everything. i mean they were my other halfs i guess. and then back in august me and my friend had sex.[1] well i mean it wasn't aquard after that between us or anything. we were still best friends and my other friend knew about it. i mean i talked to him about it and when people would bring it up he would stick up for me. and i mean i would talk to [2] about boys i liked and everything. i mean i'm 'friends' with this gyu now and w.e. and [2] said he totaly approves. anyway; now they have kinda split apart but they are still my bffs just not each others anymore. and recently he has gotten so mad at me. i mean he came up to me and goes i know why you and [1] don't talk as much its b.c you two fxxked and its aquard and he goes and don't worry no one told me i just figured it out. and if i was your best friend you should have told me. and i called him and he keeps hangin up on me. and i finally gave up and told him that when he wants to grow up he can call me. and he hasn't and i talked to him the other day about it and he was like well if i really was your best friend you would have told me and he likes you haven't been a good friend to me lately [even though i gave him 50$$$ and a letter telling him how much i loved him and thanked him for everything for his b.day a few days ago] and now he wont look at me talk to me anything. and i don't know what to do. i'm about to give up and trying to say i'm sorry b/c theres nothing i can do b.c for so long he knew and now [3 months later] he decides to get mad. what do i do. he wont answer my calls and i've just gave up on trying to make up with him. i mean it's killing me. he was my other half and now he hates me for no reason? and i've talked to people about it and they say they think he likes me but idk. i hope not hes my bff and right now he hates me and i mean he got pissed when i talked to his mom today after school. i just don't know what to do anymore. i miss him its been a week since we've really talked and i don't know what to do. i love him to death and hes just now mad at me. i don't understand and usually he never in a million yr.s gets mad over stuff like this. i don't know what his deal is. please help me out. thanksss

You didnt do anything wrong. You told him you were sorry, and you tired to call him, your trying to work things out. If he is really your best friend, give me a little time, and he will come around. Things are upseting him right now and it seems like he needs some time to figure things out. You have the right idea, you are showing him how much your friendship means. That you dont want loose him as a best friend. You sent him a birthday card, and a gift, he knows you're still there and he knows you still want to be friends. You love him to death and you are scared that he is going to be gone forever. If he was your best friend, he will come back. You 2 seemed pretty close to eachother, and you cant just give that up.


You cant take back having sex with [1]. Things happen and im not sure if you reget it or not [2] should support you on everything, If he knew for 3 months, I makes me wonder why just now he is bring this all up. Why 3 months later he became upset about this. I sorta agree with other people. It seems that he might like you. That he didnt want to show you he was upset before, but now he cant handle it [ just an idea, I'm really all that sure ]. The comment he made : about how you and [1] dont talk as much anymore because you guys had sex, was rude, and uncalled for. I think he said it to upset you though. I wouldn't take it personally. He is trying to urg you and its working. He knows he is upseting you, and I think it really might be jealousy.


There isnt much else you can do. You have called him, and sent him a letter, and all that jazz. Now its just up to him. If he is going to come to his mind and relize that he is making a mistake.. letting go of someone who cares so much about him. Try writting him another letter. Explain to him, how much he really does mean to you, and how much him not talking to you is effecing you. You are hurt, I could tell just by what you wrote. Now explain that to him. Explain to him that you dont know what else to do, but you dont want to let the friendship go. Things will work out in the end, and if he comes back hes a true friend, and if he doesnt.. then he isnt. He would have left a good person who cared about him alot, and that would be his mistake not yours.

This is going to be yet another Christmas question. I know we all hate this questions we see a million of them & they all ask the something, so I'm sorry now, for being yet another Christmas gift asker.

Me & best friend are going out with 2 amazing guys, that happen to be best friends also. They already know what they are getting us, and me and my friend are still stuck. We will admit it, we couldn't pick a good gift to save our lives, so we need help. We were thinking maybe a shirt, but then we thought that wouldn't work. You still a virgin, you have nothing to worry about. Periods are not always regular. Sometimes you get the later or even earlier.. It's nothing to sweat about. If you get to worried about it, or want a professional opipion on it, go see your doctor.
