gaby09 answered Monday December 4 2006, 7:33 pm: Chi's are the best hair straightener you can have. thats what hairdresers use to so you know its good quality. IT doesnt damageyour hair as much and it heats up in 10 seconds so no waiting. Ive had mine for about 3 years now and i love it i dont knwo what i would do without it. You can buy them from anywhere from HEB to a hairsalon place. they range from about 90-100 dollars. Buying it from a hairdresser may give you a discount. its_melissa_DuH answered Sunday December 3 2006, 8:00 pm: CHI! omf thats just the best straightner that ever existed. ive had mine for about 2-3 years and it still works like brand new! it keeps your hair pin straight until you wash your hair. it also makes your hair look healthy. its kinda pricy tho, from $85-150. you can't buy them from any store; you have to go to a hair salon and order it through a magazine. ask someone who works at a hair salon about chi straightners. good luck with it and i hope i helped!
duudee_advicer answered Sunday December 3 2006, 7:00 pm: This is just the question for me.
I've had about 8 flat irons myself.
I had a Helen of Troy Ceramic Series ($40-$50)
I loved it, my hair was amazingly straight,
however I've had it for about a year and now its falling apart. You can find them at Sally's Beauty Supplies in a gold&black box.
I've used my friend's Chi's and they worked great. However, they are quite pricey. (120$-190$)
Sedu's were voted the #1 brand.
But they are very hard to find. (140$)
I've tried Conairs, Wet2Straights and such
and found they were wastes of money. I do not recommened those at all.
I've picked up a few tricks from straightening my hair .. when straightening your hair
besure to use straightening mousse when hair
is damp, use heat protectant spray on bone dry hair right before you flat iron it, then seal the style with some light hairspray then combing it once to lock in the straightness. :) [ duudee_advicer's advice column | Ask duudee_advicer A Question ]

MummuM answered Sunday December 3 2006, 6:07 pm: I suggest the flat iron "Cricket." It's an amazing straightener and it works great. The price is high, though; $150. But it's WELL worth the money. [ MummuM's advice column | Ask MummuM A Question ]
AllYouNeedIsAshley answered Sunday December 3 2006, 4:43 pm: I L.O.V.E. the wet 2 dry straightener. It drys and straightens your hair all at once. It's truly amazing! i think it's like 20-25$ which is cheap for a staightener! Good luck on your quest for a straightener. [ AllYouNeedIsAshley's advice column | Ask AllYouNeedIsAshley A Question ]
