Playing ipod through guitar amp?

Is there any way that I can play my ipod and use my guitar amp as a speaker for it?

I know it is possible because my friend did it... is there a special thing i have to buy? where can i get it?.

Actually yes. I do it all the time. I don't know the techincal words for anything so i'll try my best to make sense... Okay, so... When you plug headphones in, theres that little pluggy thing yep? And on the Amp theres a bigger version, well... i just have a lead that has a small pluggy thing on one side and a bigger version on the other side. I'm not to sure where you get it from though... I'm sorry i can't help you there, i just wanted you to know it's possible!
