ok so at my highschool we got a pool and have to go swimming. the problem is i dont feel comfrontable taking off ALL my clothes to wear my bathing suit infront of everyone.. they think just because we are all girls and have the same body parents that it is ok but i personaly dont think that is right.. and another thing is we cant use the "girl problem" to stop us from swimming" but i have NEVER used a tampon and i have heared from my friends that the doctor has told them it is bad for you and can mess up soemthing down there?? what can i do??

i know how you feel about the changing thing...thats not fun! your could try getting a huge wavy tshirt to change under or going into a stall if your not comfortable. im sure your not the only one that feels this way. as for your period...i STRONGLY suggest you try tampons. once you get the feel for them, youll WANT to wear them. no they can "mess you up" down there unless you leave it in for too long then you get TSS. if you wear it just for one swim class, your fine. its worth the effort. oh and i dont think youll be swimming the whole term so it may be that you wont be on your period at all during that time. (my pe classes do a different activity every 2-3 weeks...maybe youll get lucky!) so dont start freaking out yet! hope that helps let me know if you need anything else!

no i really dont think so...i sleep on my back and my butt is still big.
and no, theres no way to make em bigger unless you wear a padded bra.

i run everyday around a loop for 45 minutes go walkin wit my friend go swinging for an hour and then go swimming and then work out..and im 14 and im still 109 pounds and im 5'3and a half.. am i fat.. how do i lose weight..i don't get why people call me anorexic..tho..is it bad if u don't eat 3 meals a day? and your active..

ok you are PERFECT. 110 pounds for 5'3 is a blessing!! don't loose any more weight..stay active to keep your weight the same, not lose any. eat 3 meals a day...it you dont, it wont make you lose weight, it keeps more on. being active isnt the only thing you need to do to keep in shape you gotta eat right too.

Has anyone tried the prescription "Benzaclin" for acne? I really tried everything, proactiv/clean&clear/netrogena/clearasil/etc, and none of them are working, or worked...ever. Almost all of my pimples leave scars, and i have alot of pimples around my t-zone. It brings my confidence down so much cause makeup doesnt even cover it up, and a lot of people always point to it and laugh at me, i know its mean but it makes me feel horrible. ive gotten a prescription before but all it did was burn the hell out of my face so i just stoppped using it after a couple of weeks/months. If anyone has tried this prescription please let me know, and how it worked. I'll have to order it online with a credit card or something because we dont have insurance. thanks soo much.

i personally suggest you see a different dermatologist. there are all kinds of presciptions/antibiotics out there that can help when acne is not than skin deep. makeup makes things worse, over washing isnt good soo please see a professional. good luck and dont let people's teasing get to you. someday theyll see that what your face looks like isnt the most important thing in life.

i like this guy. ive liked him before about two years ago. he was i guess you could say one of my biggest middle school crushes.we stopped talking for a while. got new friends. just didnt really talk anymore. im in high school now. we started talking again. of course my feelings came back for him. there are points when we talk that i get the feeling he likes me back. but other times he makes it seem like hes mad at me or im annoying. i told my best friend that i like him. she practically laughed in my face. she said hes ugly and that he only wants a piece of ass. i guess a few people have told me that. about last week we kinda i guess you could say hooked up. made out at his house. he wanted to go farther then making out. and i said no. which he was totally cool with. then just yesturday he admitted to liking me. he said doesnt want a girlfriend now though because of all the bad relationships hes had. which i totally understand. i want to get to know him better before we do anything else. but half of me thinks hes only saying he likes me to get a piece of ass. but the other half just wishes or hopes hes a great guy that i hope he is. what should i do? should i listen to my friends and give up on the kid? or should i go forward to hooking up and getting to know him better?

i mean its great that he likes you and all but since he is known to need a piece of ass, he may just want a "friends with benefits" relationship with you which ends up being a pretty bad situation so dont hook up or do anything until he wants a gf.

you could try torrid...they have sizes 12-26. some stores do make clothes for bigger girls like kohls has up to size 17. hope that helps!

I honestly don't know what's wrong with me, and why guys won't ask me out. According to everyone I know, I'm "really really pretty", and I tend to have a lot in common with guys (I like video games, and boy-ish books).

umm this will sound stupid but how do you apply eye liner on the top part i know know to do the bottom put not the top please help

first, test the smoothness/thickness on your hand below your thumb. if it takes forever to make the line and you have to press hard, dull it down a bit. (i had a problem with this!) then close your eye, hold it then put it right above your lashes and make sure it looks even and not wayyy too thick! pg 112-116 in the september issue of seventeen have good instructions and diagrams if you wanna check it out. cosmos girl has different things to try on pg. 92. hope that helps!

make it known that you are available to babysit. tell your mom to tell her friends especially if they have younger kids, volunteer at clubs like pta meetings and let your neighbors know. if you took a coarse like "safe sitter" they tell you how and give you lots of tips. hope that helps!
