My boyfriend is so strange. I had been on welfare for a long time and he used to tell me that he thought I had potential and that I should be working, and that he didnt want me to live off the system. Well I finally got a good job and now he is acting almost jealous of me. When I told him I was really happy and everyone was nice he just said sarcastically "oh it's working out for you". He has a job and makes a lot of money so I don't know why this would bother him.
Does anyone have any insight to his behavior?

i think it's a guy thing =) idk guys feel the need to have power & he probably wants to be the one bringing in income. seems weird i know, but that's what i think. obviously it could be different for every guy soo i think you should ask him about it. i mean, maybe he is jealous of you, because you have a good job now, but he shouldn't be more than jealous, because he should be happy for you. i mean, he probably is, but juss isn't realizing that he shouldn't be jealous about it. sit down & talk to him about it & explain how you feel, so then you guys can straighten it all out.

You know how when you wake up in the middle of the noght and your arm is asleep and it is really numb? then when the blood starts to come back it can kinda hurt? well my question this. if that happens quite alot (atleast once a night) can that cause any permanent damage? my pinky and some of my ring finger along with that half of my hand are all tingly. its not painful just annoying. oh and my elbo is really sensative know. it has been this way for about 2 days know. any help?

i don't really think it can cause permanent damage but it isn't good for you. if it keeps happening, you might want to go to the doctor & get that checked out juss to be careful. plus he'll find ways to fix that. you're probably juss sleeping on it wrong, & maybe you should find different sides to sleep on & stuff.

okay, so here it goes. i`ve known this guy for six years, and ever since i have just wanted to be with him, be around him, talking to him, whatever. i'm in high school now. we went out all last year, but we broke up and since then it`s just been me really liking him, and him liking me. he said that he liked me since about four years ago, but he just doesn't want a girlfriend right now so he can focus on friends, family, school, etc. and that's cool with me. i`m fine with that, it`s just when we're not going out. he acts so different around me. like me and my friends will him and he`ll be like i can`t talk bye. within the first few seconds. sometimes when i call him alone he`ll talk to me for a while, but it just seems like he doesn't want anybody else to know that he likes me. like he's embarassed about it or something. and i guess for right now that's okay with me too. but it also seems like he's just trying to see how far i`ll go before i stop liking him. and i'm scared because i know will love him forever. i just want to know what i could do to help him, or something i could do to help me get my mind off him a little more of the time. i know everyone reading this thinks it's just another stupid high school girl who thinks she's in love. but you don't know me, so if you're thinking that. please don't respond with something like "you'll move on, how many boyfriends have you had this year?" i`m not looking for mean comments, i'm looking for advice. i know this is kind of long but i appreciate anyone who read the whole question and is willing to give good genuine advice. thank you

that seems kind've rude. idk maybe he's juss shy & doesn't want everyone making a huge deal that he likes you & you like him. thats understandable. try talking to him about it & get the real story. you shouldn't wait around for too long though, because if he doesn't try anything & stops liking you, then you'll have a problem with that. the only way you can help him is by talking to him about it & giving him time & space. that's all he really needs. i'm definately in love with my bf & love is complicated but it's great. moving on can be difficult, & you don't have to do that. juss give him some time & talk to him about it. being friends is a good thing too.

I really like this guy and i have for a really long time. A couple nights ago was a dance and we were around each other pretty much the whole time. and if i walked away he'd walk with me. He's kinda seeing someone right now but they arent going out. Well, to make things specific, I've liked him for about a year. We've gone out a few times. uhh talk to him about it. it does seem like he likes both of you, but maybe he doesn't know you like him, so he's trying to go for that other girl. hmm juss talk to him about it & confront him. if you don't feel comfortable doing that then maybe you can get a friend to help you out & have them tell him for you. if it doesn't work, then maybe you should keep your options open & look for someone else. you don't want to get involved with someone who's semi dating someone else.

If a guy is in love with you would it bother him that you called him on his cell before 6 pm? A guy that I thought was really into me got upset today when I called him on his cell. He phoned me first but then his phone cut out and I phoned him back. I wanted to talk to him for a couple of minutes because I hadnt been able to talk to him much lately (he works in the oil rig camp), but then he got annoyed and said he couldnt talk anymore and that it was costing him a lot of money. He told me to only phone him after 6 pm. I know he is making a ton of money in the oil camps so I think that is bull that he cant afford the extra money.
I thought if a guy really loved and cared about you you could phone him anytime. Does anyone else think hes being a bit of a jerk?

Hmm... I guess this question may have been aked quite a lot but here it goes. I am currently a freshmen, and there is this very cute junior at my school. I see him every other day during lunch and he's always staring at me, and it's obvious that he's talking about me with his friends. Plus I know one of his friends and he has told me that the guy likes me. The problem is he never approaches me. Do you think I should try to make a move or play it cool and wait for him to say something?

I know what the symptoms of mono are, but for anybody that's had it does this sound like mono to you?

My boyfriend has been one to always stay up really late (like 5 sometimes lol), but he always sleeps in on weekends to catch up and stuff so it's not all that horrible. Lately he's been getting really tired at night. He goes to sleep at like 10 or 11 which is extremely early for him. I've never known him to go to sleep until after 1. He gets headaches all the time and he's had a really bad cough on and off since I've known him, but he says that's normal for him. He hasn't been coughing lately and his headaches haven't been happening as often. He's never really eaten that much so it's hard to tell if he's lost his appetite at all. Even though he's crazy tired at night he's wide awake during the day now. What could explain him being so tired at night all of a sudden? Could it be mono? He's really stubborn and would never get tested for it. If this sounds like mono at all to anyone let me know because I don't wanna get it!

he needs to get tested, because if mono isn't helped, if that's what it is, then it can juss get worse. if you have mono, you have a fever. if he doesn't have a fever it might be something else.

i have 2 best friends and we all hang out all the time but my two best friends have known eachother longer and they tend to leave me out ALL the time! i've been in that situation before..plenty of times lol. im guessing you're a girl because girls are weird like that (no offense if you're a guy). what you have to do is hang out with other people, because if you can't hang out with 1 of them because they act different towards you because someone else is there..what kinda friend is that!? not a good one obviously. you don't have to not talk to them totally, you can still be their friend, juss hang out with other people & maybe not be as close. it should work & then you can try talking about it with them again.

uhh i highly doubt it. unless you eat it a lot haha =) it won't harm you i don't think, unless it has like germs er something. it can give your hair bad split ends though, but nah i definately wouldn't worry about it.
