me and my boyfriend have been together for 2 1/2 years now. he just recently went to college and im a high school senior. we see each other every weekend but for some reason i still can't be happy with our situation. he doesn't understand why i have to get upset. i trust him not to do anything stupid. i just dont understand why i cant be over this stage..its been about 3 months. any suggestions?

You're just not used to not seeing him all the time. It's perfectly normal to have trouble dealing with such drastic changes. The more you force yourself to get over something, the longer it could take. Don't beat yourself up over any emotions you may feel, because feelings are always valid. I don't think there is any way to make him understand, just try not to let it ruin your relationship with him. Try to enjoy the time that you do have with him and remind youself that it will be okay. I think that you are worrying that he will meet someone in college. What I would do in your situation is just talk to him about it. There's really nothing else I can suggest.

juss sit down & talk to him about it. since you guys have been together that long, he should understand why you feel this way. juss have total trust in him & everything should be fine. you'll get over it & see him more often, probably since the holidays are coming up & everything so don't worry about it & juss talk to him about it.
