My name is Melissa. I'm a sophomore, and finally SWEET 16. So, I'll be driving on January 7th. I usually go by May or Mel. In the picture is myself and my AMAZING boyfriend Kyle. He's truly my entire world & I'm not sure how I got lucky enough to get someone like him. I don't like girls. They're fake, and I just in general dislike most girls. Little known fact? There are times I hate my best friend, I mean, hate hate. She drives me insane. When I'm close friends with a girl it's a big deal. As far as best friends go; I have Kyle, who's the most amazing boyfriend in the world; Jennifer Anne Reese aka: PIECUP.. she's one of the few girls I'm close to. I'm generally a nice person, if I like you. If I don't, you'll know it.

In college I want to major in psychology; with a minor in wedding planning or some type of organizational planning type thing. I'm a planning freak. I ALWAYS have a plan, and if you don't plan stuff ahead of time, I'll probably kill you. I tend to change my plan spur of the moment a lot, but I always have one. Lol, one of those weird things about me.


I'm not that much of a "laid back" person. In general, I have my opinion, and I'm going to win. Drama = stupid. But just like every other girl on the planet, I definitely start my share of the drama. I don't like it, but it follows me like a puppy, so I'll just admit I start stuff.

Our school has banned Abercrombie from our school. They say that the shirts are too sexual and distract the "learning environment." Today a friend of mine was wearing and Abercrombie shirt that said "Will work forehand jobs" and was given a saturday detention and they made him take it off. The same thing happened to a guy wearing a shirt that had a video game controler and said "wanna play?" Yes I get that those shirts can get you in trouble but what's wronge with regular Abercrombie shirts that don't have anything to do with sex? And not to mention pants. Well, us students want to get them to let us wear Abercrombie to school again becasue not ALL their shirts are like that. WE have no idea wear to start. Any ideas?

I think you should start out with a petition, and get as many students to sign as possible. Also try to get staff members to sign because that always helps. Send one copy to the principal and one to the super intendent of your school. Try that, and see what happens. [By the way, there should be a regulation somewhere that tells you how many signatures you need for them to consider it, etc.]

Well, it's kind of an obligation, but it would still be really thoughtful and sweet of him to ask [= Have a fun homecoming.

Sometime this year i am planning to buy either an mp3 player or an ipod. I was wondering what people thought was better, an mp3 player or an ipod.

Personally, I would say an Ipod. But if you are going to get one, don't spare any cost because you'll be suprised how much you use it, etc.

If you aren't comfortable telling her, go by yourself tampons or pads. Otherwise, you need to just tell her. More than likely, she'll be all "MY BABY'S GROWING UP!!" [= Good luck.

my [ex] boyfriend just got back from vacation. he broke up with me while he was there. and now that he's back -- he's confusing me. we did talk about what happened, and why he broke up with me and he says it was for the best. but then he acts like he doesn't even want to give me a chance to get over him. it's like, he doesn't want to be with me -- but then he doesn't want anyone else to be with me either. so what do i do ? i already waited for him to decide if he even still wanted to be with me for almost four weeks. i'm tired of waiting . what message am i getting here ? i'm really confused.

Okay, I was very very [less than a week ago] in your situation. My boyfriend went to Brazil for a month, and broke up with me before he left. If he's STILL deciding, then he's either saying something, or there's someone else. Just talk to him and if he still can't decide, find someone else!

Show them you're responsible and willing to listen to their rules. Unless they have some kind of reason why you shouldn't date, convince them to start off slowly. Try group dates first. Movies with two or three other couples. If you have a cell phone, have them call it to check up on you. There's no reason why you shouldn't be able to start dating, if you're emotionally mature enough.

ok.. im 14/f and i know this guy that likes me.. and so does my best friend.. shes the one that wants me to go out with him.. but whenever its the 3 of us.. like if were at the movies.. she makes it so that she sits in the middle.. and i dont know how i can flirt with him if shes inbetween us.. and i dont know how to tell her that i cant flirt with him if shes always between us.. please help in any way possible

You need to just TELL HER. Even if it's not that nice, just do it. If she actually wants you two together, she'll get out of the way. Good luck!

I suggest Weathervane, Delias, Forever 21, American Eagle. Kohls is also really good for plain shirts, and they're cheap!

i dont know wat to do.. when im sad i go hyper to hide my pain.. the same with when im mad or anyhting and so then im like hyper almost all of the time and i dont really think that its all that healthy to cover up things like that but i just cant help it and its seriously exausting to be hyper all of the time and i drink coffee all of the timee so i like never sleep because i'm always pumped full of caffeene so if i wanna go hyper i can and i dont kno watss wrong with mee im only 13 and im addicted to coffee and i never sleep and im hyper 24/7 idk wats wrong pleaseee help

Sleeping, it's a teen thing. It's always hard for teens to sleep. Try some sleeping pills from a drug store. No caffine after 6 PM. [Lol hard, I know.]

Don't hide your emotions. They will just come back 8000 times worse and bother you more. I do that now, so I'm kind of in the same situation. I tend to not say anything about it, and keep it all in. Then explode on a random person that has nothing to do with it. It will make you lose friends. Just tell people what you're feeling, if they actually love you, they'll try to help.

Whenever I have a guy I like or my guy friends over or just any friends in general over, my little brother ALWAYS has to be with us. I can say "Can you go upstairs for a little..just for A LITTLE..please?" and he goes "i can do whatever I want" And it gets so annoying and my mom doesn't care and she lets him annoy us.I can be in my OWN room and he STILL won't get out and my mom lets him stay in there too. I even ask her NICELY to have him go upstairs with her and she goes "he's not annoying just deal with it"..how am I EVER gonna have boys and friends and my boyfriend come over without my brother around us all the time?HELP ME BEFORE I EXPLODED :x

Lol I've had that problem before. I'm 15 and my brother's 12. Aren't they annoying?? But here's what worked [in my situation] I started asking him to go places with me, because my friends and I tend to do nothing and just talk and joke around. I asked him everytime I went somewhere to come with me, and he always did. Eventually, he got really bored and said that we were too much like "adults". So he stopped following me because he thinks my friends & I are too boring. Eventually he WILL go away! Promise!

I would say that it depends on what happened before. If things didn't end badly and he doesn't / hasn't lied to you, then go for it. But if he's not being sincere, don't waste your time.

Is there a REASON that he won't hang out with you or let you hang out with him? If you really want to, then just try talking to him about his day, etc. Maybe once you show that you actually DO want to talk to him as friends, he will get the hint. [Remember: He IS a boy.]

my stepfather is a total baby. he gets what ever he wants. his mom baught him a car. my mom baught him a scanner. and his mom baught him a new computer. and those were when he just wanted it. it's like he get's what he wants but i dont get what i want. and he gets expensive stuff on his birthdays when i just get a birthday card. how do i get things to be fair around here. or atleast stop him from getting what ever he wants

If he's working, and helping to pay bills, etc. around the house, then there isn't much you can do. They're adults and if they choose to spend money that way you can't stop them. Try talking to your mom about it, and see what she says. Good luck!

my older sister just had a baby. and me and my mom have been taking care of him. and now that i've had experense with babys. i think im old enough to take care of him my self. but everytime i ask my sister she says im not old enough. i feel she dos'nt trust me. i feel she dos'nt think im responsble. i mean she babysat infits when she was my age. how do i convince my sister that im old enough and responsble enough to do this

Here's what I suggest: Try giving her a "night in" where she doesn't stay in the same room or anything like that, and you watch her child. If you have a problem she's there, and if you don't then she'll see that you can take care of him on your own. Good luck!

Okay so my friend said she hates my boyfriend, and always tells me to dump him or she will make my live hell.. she said that i deserve someone hotter because my boyfriend is ugly, and cares about only me. Your friend isn't really your friend. You need to explain to her that you don't care how he looks, it's about who he is, and that you love him. It's not HER boyfriend, and you wouldn't do that to her so don't let her do it to you. If you love him that's all that matters, don't let your friend mess it up!

Hey.. My friend is having a party tomm. (boy girl) and me and him are having a prank war with our friend (girl).. so she really doesnt know im in on it.. but i am.. and i know she has help too so dont worry its fair. Ok.. so we have ideas for .. taping a tampon on her back.. playing this game where two people clothes there eyes and try to hit eachother wtih sppons that are in their mouths and someone else hits the person harder.. .. and telling her to close her eyes and breaking an egg over her head.. she can wash her hair right after.. and shes a good sport so shell think its funny as hell .. and so we cant find any more.. so Does anyone have any good ones we can do with household items?.. Alright, so there's this girl, and I love her. I mean, I really LOVE her. During the school year, I didn't really care, I liked her as a friend, but everyone was convinced that she liked me. Even my best friend once said to her, "You know, you really look like (my name)'s girlfriend!" But then during the summer I realized that I really did love her, so I told her that, she said she like me as a friend. But I couldn't stop thinking about her. Then, a month later, I emailed her again saying that I couldn't get over her, and she said that what she had previously said, she honestly didn't know, her current relationship was pretty much over. So I knew there was hope, and I was sooo happy about that, but I still felt like I needed more. So I asked her to the carnival there as friends, and that was pretty cool. We had a pooled fund of tickets, and we ran out of all of them except for one... whe shared cotton candy... etc. So I'm nearly positive she likes me, but she just won't admit it to herself. How can I convince her? Thanks!

You can't really convince someone to like you. She has to admit it to herself before she's going to be ready to tell you. Give her some time, then talk to her in PERSON. It's easier to lie and deny over the internet. Good luck!

my friends and i constantly suffer drama. we spend hours and hours at night on AIM trying to figure it out. it almost always ends up in someone crying or hurt. how do i help them with out just causing more drama?

There's really no way to STOP drama, because there's ALWAYS going to be one or more person starting it, or re-starting it. There's nothing you can do to help unless you WANT them to. Maybe they have some kind of insecurity issues [I can say I do] or something like that? Try to find out the reason why the drama starts all the time, then talk to them. If they want help then help, and if they don't I really don't know what to tell you. Good luck, sorry I wasn't more helpful, but I'm kind of in this position right now.
