well personally, i wouldnt like hangin out with my brother because hes younger then me. only a year but still. i dont know, i think it would be weird if he was around. i'd feel like my dad was watching me. maybe thats just me..but he might feel weird because your his BROTHER. its most likely not anything personal towards you. talk to him about it..respect his opinion, and try to hang out with him when its just you two.

Brothers will be brothers. Depends how old he is... but at his age he probably just wants nothing to do with family. You can't force him to do anything. Just explain to him you enjoy hanging out and that it would be fun to hang out more often. If he rejects it, just seem upset and maybe he'll feel the least bit guilty. Other than that just be as nice to him as possible and I guess that's all you can do, you really can't force anything on him.

Hey. I had the same problem with my two sisters. I sat them down, and told them that i liked hanging out with them, and if we could hang out more often... and, we do. You just have to let your brother know, how much you like spending time with him. Usually older siblings dont like hanging with there younger siblings, its normal, its just how older aged siblings are, they like to hang out with there friends. Good Luck!

♥ Hey Sweetie. Thats really sweet that you care & want to hang out with your brother. Right now he may be going through a lot or he just feels like he wants to hang out with other people. Its natural. I think you should give him some time. Then after awhile ask him again. If he continous to act this way then talk to him && tell him how you feel about it! IF that doesnt work maybe you should talk to your parents. Im sure as time goes on he'll relize what a great sister you are. ♥ Good luck. L0VE YA.X0X0<3

Is there a REASON that he won't hang out with you or let you hang out with him? If you really want to, then just try talking to him about his day, etc. Maybe once you show that you actually DO want to talk to him as friends, he will get the hint. [Remember: He IS a boy.]

Family is very important and it's wonderful that you want to have a stronger relationship with your brother. I have two sisters, one that I also consider a friend.

I would tell your brother that you miss the relationship you had when you were younger. Remind him of some good times you had together during your youth. If he's older, you can always try telling him that you look up to him. He'll be flattered.
