i dont know wat to do.. when im sad i go hyper to hide my pain.. the same with when im mad or anyhting and so then im like hyper almost all of the time and i dont really think that its all that healthy to cover up things like that but i just cant help it and its seriously exausting to be hyper all of the time and i drink coffee all of the timee so i like never sleep because i'm always pumped full of caffeene so if i wanna go hyper i can and i dont kno watss wrong with mee im only 13 and im addicted to coffee and i never sleep and im hyper 24/7 idk wats wrong pleaseee help

dont hide your feelings. theres nuthing rong with feeling sad or mad and no1 is going to care if you are sumtimes. find sum1 that you can talk to wenever you get sad or mad.explain to them how you feel and just vent everything thts goin on to them.you can always talk to me if u need to!and drinking coffee is relly bad for you and you dont need to b hyper all the time so you should relly stop drinking it so much.

i think that you should talk to some close friends whenever your feeling sad or mad or whatever your feeling. i think that you should start drinking less coffee too. try de-caffinated coffee. so you can still drink your coffe but w/o the side effects. LOL im 13 too and wen I feel that way I always call my good friend or sometimes if it helps i talk to my mom but thats because we are kind of close. if you dont get help now then when your old enough to drink you might start to drink alcohol instead of coffee and thats worse. well hope it helped :)

Sleeping, it's a teen thing. It's always hard for teens to sleep. Try some sleeping pills from a drug store. No caffine after 6 PM. [Lol hard, I know.]

Don't hide your emotions. They will just come back 8000 times worse and bother you more. I do that now, so I'm kind of in the same situation. I tend to not say anything about it, and keep it all in. Then explode on a random person that has nothing to do with it. It will make you lose friends. Just tell people what you're feeling, if they actually love you, they'll try to help.

First you need to address what is making you mad or sad. Try to find a way to correct the cause if you can. Ask a friend, your parents, your sister, whoever you trust, if they can help you find a solution to whatever is bothering you. You can also post a question here. For the most part, most people on advicenators are sensitive and can, many times, offer a solution.

If you can't fix the problem, you need to let the feelings out in some way. Call a friend or write down your words, anything to get it out. It's not good on your body to hold things in. Eventually it'll lead to a blow-up which will surprise everyone. Trust me I've been there before. Jaws hit the floor because no one knew I was that upset. It can also lead to health problems such as ulcers, depression, and migraines, just to name a few.

You also need to wean yourself off the coffee. Not sleeping can have a devastating effect on your body, not to mention make your initial problem worse. Our bodies need sleep to function correctly.

You say when you're sad, you go hyper to hide the condition - it sounds like all of this might be a defense mechanism, your way of coping with something. The coffee is just something for you to feed yourself with - it's called 'self-medication' and people often do it with alcohol or pills. I think your major problem is that you don't have a good outlet for negative emotions. That's what's led to all your other difficulties - your addiction to coffee, your insomnia, your malaise. First of all, know that it's all right to be sad or mad or whatever emotion it is you're feeling. You're 13 and you have a right to negative feelings; this is a right you will always have, so know that. Second, know that you don't have to hide your pain. I don't know specifically what your problems are, but I'm sure there are people in your life you can discuss them with. If you really feel you don't have anyone to talk to, find a school counselor or call a hotline. There's always help available. If you don't really feel like talking, just write things down in a diary. This can really help. Third, try channeling your energy into some activity - sports maybe or whatever you enjoy. Sometimes, being productive will help burn off excess energy as well as helping you cope with problems. Fourth, nip your addiction in the bud - quit, go cold turkey. This will be hard, I won't kid you. But just stop drinking coffee - aim for a week coffee-less. If you fail, no worries. Try again the next day. Just keep telling yourself, you don't need the stuff. It's a crutch. Fifth, if you give up coffee, your inability to sleep should go away, but if it doesn't, try going to be earlier or limiting any stimulating activities right before bed. Write down stuff you're worried about and put the paper away; this will help clear your mind. Remember, you have the ability to help yourself. Just find something you enjoy to do, and the hyperactivity should calm down. Good luck.

if you had any common sense, try using it because its obvious you're exagerating and if you are, here's the trick... LAY OFF THE DAMN COFFEE! duhhh!!! try to stay away from coffee, throw everything you have of coffee. and stop being so emotional because you're just going through puberty. here's my best advice for you... grow up!

Heyy. Alright first of all you need to find out whats making you sad/mad or w.e and try to do sumthing about it. if liek sum1 is makin you feel bad then ignore it. Go to the gym and work out your frustration. drawingwriting poetry always helps to. just do something else to take the anger and pain away.

and about the coffee .. just liek ask your friends or family to help you and be liek.. Hey if you see me drinking coffee stop me.. and only have it liek 2-3 times a week..

its not ok to bottle things up cry wen you feel like it scream, in a pillow try to calm down ppl prolly get annoyed by you and try decafe it mite help and go to bed its not good not to sleep believe me hope i helped! :-d

Hey Hun! You should really start talking to someone or acutally letting your feelings out more dont bottle up your feelings its not healthy. And just try not to drink as much coffee try to ease off of it and I think you could do it.
