16/m. You've probably heard this topic before, and might even be sick of it, but I am curious to know what any and all of you think a 'nice guy' is. Is he a pushover? or is he the one who will lend a should to cry on? I want to know what you personally think a nice guy is, what qualities and personality traits would follow him, if you would want to have a nice guy as a boyfriend, and should there be more of them. Sorry it's a long question, but because too many people have so many different views on what exactly a nice guy is; I think this will offer everyone a chance to see things from a different perspective - nobody is right or wrong in this one. I'm not complaining saying its a bad thing or praising them either, just curious. Thanks

I consider a nice guy would be someone who respects your wishes and morals, doesn't ask you for head and always defends you. He is strong and he will lend his shoulder to cry on.

In my opinion, you are too young. You did the right thing in saying you're not ready. If he still doesn't get the message, dump him because he's not worth your time. Plenty of other fish in the sea.

Hey there. Uhh...there's this guy at school who I think looks really hot. He's a grade above me and I am friends with a lot of people he knows. Some people say he's conceited, but he doesn't really seem like it. I really wanna talk to him and get to know him, but I dunno what to say at all. I dunno if he even knows I exist or whatever. I just don't wanna look like an idiot in front of him. I'm not that good at starting conversations. What can I do to get his attention so he'll start talking to me?

a couple of people in my family have died in the last 2 years, and some people in my family smoke "a pack a day". i'm really worried that they will get really sick and i won't get to see them again, but i don't know how to express my concern to anyone

The best you can do is to let them know how bad it is for them and their health. That's all you can do, let them quit on their own.

I'm Karlie, and im 13 in 7th grade. I liked this guy since umm what 4th yes 4th grade. He knows i like him but he says he likes me as a friend. It's weird cuz he shows signs that he likes me (stares and acts hopeless and shy). Like he slow danced with me at the dance and he gave me a hug and he asks for a high five like everyday like thats all he can think of doing cuz he's stuck. Do you think he likes me? Or better yet how do i work on getting him to hang out with me more.

ok well,just like..2 weeks ago i saw yellowish white faintly in my underwear,but im not sure if its dischagre or if i really had to go to the bath room..i cant feel anything come out so..how do i really for sure know? and also,my mom got it when she was 13,my sister 14..so will i get it at 15? how long does discharge last untill you actually get your period?

Usually you only get your period a week out of a month. The stuff you saw may have been from you needing to go to the athroom. Tell your mom and have her check it out. Keep a few pads handy too.

Hi I'm a 27 year old woman but dress like I'm a lot younger. I was wearing a pair of tight track pants that showed off my figure. They were not slutty, but just the style right now and I also wore a black jacket. Anyways these two older men were sitting on a park bench when I walked by, one man said "that's a little tight".
Also two days ago me and my friend who is 33 (but looks 25) were at Tim Hortons having a coffee. We were sitting outside and these old men were sitting behind us. We were not talking to them but they were eavesdropping on our conversation ( which was about men). When we left they jeered at us and said BYE GIRLS.
Why do I always get this reaction from older men? I am not a slut and not a flirt.

This kid I know from school has become really good friends with me. He's average looking...but we have enough in common. He just admitted he likes me, and I admitted I kind of felt the same way. I have to learn all the countries, their locations, and their capitals by tomorow. ( I have 3 tests on them tomorow ) Any ideas to help me study, I'm having alot of trouble and these are major tests!!

Most girls your age are willing to try that because they are curious about sexuality and their bodies. First of all, good job! Not many girls would have the courage to say no. My parents are ALWAYS fighting with my older sister. I've always been the "good" child so I don't normally get in fights with my parents. But the problem is that I hate it when they all fight it just REALLY breaks me down and sometimes I just need to talk to someone that understands!! OK, so I've started "seeing" this guy that I ADORE and this weekend he was away. Anyway i went out with friends to this bar everyone goes to, and this drunk guy basically grabbed me and starts making out with me! I told him no, but he wouldnt listen, and i kinda reciprocated for a few seconds before realising it was a mistake.

I feel really guilty, and its poss he could find out as its a bar where lots of people know each other.

I would tell him so he won't worry too much. Don't let it bug you, you had NOTHING to do with the guy that was in the bar, drunk. Although, those are some of the consequences of stepping foot into a bar. Hope I helped!

Depends on your outlook of it. If your boyfriend has done anything to hurt you or won't talk to you, I say go with Anthony. On the other hand, you won't know how Anthony treats you untill you get with him and if he treats you badly, you can't really go back to your boyfriend. Its like a try and buy deal.
